I normally don't leave reviews, but I feel patients should be aware of my negative experience! I was encouraged to open a CareCredit account for dental treatment that I later learned had been approved through Denti-Cal. During the process, I was told by a staff member that the treatment had not initially been submitted because they "knew it wouldn't be approved." As a patient, hearing that was extremely concerning bc it's not up to them to decide what gets approved or denied it's up to the INSURANCE. The entire situation felt stressful, confusing, and financially misleading. In addition to the stress of dealing with the financial issues, opening the account resulted in a hard inquiry and negatively impacted my credit, something I would not have agreed to had I been given accurate information from the start. I spent weeks following up regarding a refund and was repeatedly given different information about when it would be processed. Communication from management was inconsistent, and I often felt like I had to keep calling just to get answers. During treatment, my lip was cut by floss hard enough to cause pain and bleeding. While I understand mistakes can happen, it added to an already negative experience. I ultimately sought a second opinion from another dentist and was informed that some of the treatment recommendations I received were unnecessary. Another thing that concerned me was seeing patients encouraged to leave 5-star reviews in exchange for free teeth whitening. After my experience, it made me question how genuine some of the online reviews really are. Although the financial issue was eventually resolved and the refund was processed, the amount of stress, confusion, lack of transparency, poor communication, and impact on my credit made this an experience I would not wish on other patients. I would strongly encourage patients to verify insurance approvals for themselves, seek a second opinion when recommended extensive treatment, and carefully review any financing options before agreeing to them. Based on my experience, I would NOT return to this office and cannot recommend it to others. read more

Well...drumroll please!!! My permanent 6 new crowns! No more chipped front teeth! Dr Sandami, Maria & the entire team at Ganji Dental were wonderful! Dr Sandami is great and I love that he is such a perfectionist in the quality of his work and wants to be sure that the patient is 100 percent happy before he completes his work! I'm so happy and we all had a great time while I was there! Bonus: everyone loved the fresh baked jalapeño bread, the Kalamata olive bread and of course, the chocolate chip cookies I baked for them to show my appreciation. If I could give ZERO stars I would. DO NOT go here! Long story short, moved to the local area in 2020 so was needing a new dentist. I went for an initial cleaning and was told I "needed" 3 root canals. I was surprised as I was never in any pain or experiencing any issues BUT since they are the "professionals" they should know what they are doing right? Fast forward several months and I'm NOW experiencing tenderness and pain...went back and nothing could be found to cause this. Brought it up at every cleaning I went to after and still, nothing. It is now 2025, I finally change over to a new dentist and with the X-rays taken (BEFORE I even share my story) it is discovered that there has been something going on for quite some time as I NOW have lost BONE DENSITY in the exact same areas I constantly brought up to the Ganji Dental office. The WORST experience I have ever had with a dentist has been at the Ganji Dental office. My experience at this location over the past 6 months has greatly exceeded expectations. It's hard to find a dental group that really knows what they're doing and doesn't overcharge and offers a full suite of dental services. I am writing on behalf of my mother, who has been trying to get assistance from the finance department regarding her payments. She has two accounts, which means she has to make two monthly payments. My mother has inquired about the possibility of combining these two payments so that she only has to make one payment each month on a single day. However, they have informed her that this is not possible. My mother has been arguing that her second account was supposed to be the main one, and that the first account was meant to be deleted, which is the reason the second account was created in the first place. The finance staff are now going back on their word, and my mother finds this situation unfair because now they want her to pay basically double. read more

Today's visit was awesome ! Kim at the front desk greeted me with a great smile and energy. After a short wait Sarah came to get me for my teeth cleaning. Wow she is soo gentle !! And during my cleaning she explained about the benifits of cleaning, flossing and brushing. Yes I already knew, but she was so kind. You can tell she lo es what she does. What a wonderful experience! Since growing up i hated the dentist, hated sounds and everything it was always very hard for my parent to take me. This translated into adulthood and i was terrified of coming in here by myself but the doctors and my dentist i've been with had been nothing but helpful and kind along with the other staff, i would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is anxious of any kind. They also offer payment plans for anyone who can't afford it which i like, not a lot of offices do that anymore. I no longer have pain and i feel more confident in the dentist and coming in. Some specialists are a bit scary though so that's why i still rate it a 4 star place, not all dentists are the same some specialists can be a bit harsher in tone if you're sensitive to that as an adult, but overall they're okay if you voice that you're scared etc!! read more

It's been a while since I've been able to see a dentist mostly from fear of pricing and whether or not I would be able to afford it but it got to a point where I was worried if I don't take care and see a dentist my teeth could start to really suffer. This office was so warm and welcoming from the moment I entered til the moment I left! I went for the free exam and X-rays and they really did work with me and my budget so I can get all the care I needed! Shout out to all the front office girls that were attentive and also Maria who was very sweet and helped prep me and assist the dentist and the dentist I believe was Dr. David you can really tell he cares about your dental health and explains information for treatment you can understand. The staff is nice, however, Dr. Sam Ganj's ego is too large for his body. Horrible! DO NOT go here for dental implants! No matter what the solicitation flyer says thats sent in the mail. The low pricing is to get deposit for appointment to get you in. Once in, you'll pay more. I've received many text messages asking me to leave a Yelp review in order for them to get business. But, I couldn't think of anything desirable to say, except, "The staff is nice and the chairs are comfortable." Dental work is an investment and consumers need to know the truth. Dental Assistants (DA), do all of the dentists work. I wonder if they are working out of their scope of practiceI and if they are, it's not their fault, it's the dentist. The dentist may or may not make an appearance to see patient. If they do it's never for assessment purposes. Only when DA summons to glue the crown. My dental care was always in the hands of the DA. The dentist never did an exam to assess before or after visit. They only stood next to me to make a quick appearance when the DA had a question. Not even acknowledging me. Rush in the rush out. When the DA was looking for the correct abutment for my implant, she worked tirelessly screwing and unscrewing dozens of them in my mouth...the dentist never assisted her. I always felt as though the DA had more experience than the dentist. The "impressions moldings" done by the DA was always taken to the dentist for approval, who was elsewhere in the building. Again, no quality check or hands-on iassessment for accuracy for aesthetic purposes. Each visit during my implant journey at this dental office involved me seeing several different dentist who were on staff for for the day. No continuity of care. It was obvious to me that they didn't even look at my chart because they were never on the same page as the previous dentist, which lead to inconsistencies and resulted in many errors. My first "impression molding" produced 1/2 of a crown. The dentist didn't care enough to take a peek at final product. I was scheduled to come in for placement. Unbelievably, the 1/2 crown was proudly installed, then I was handed mirror to approve for dentist to cement. I was in shock that there was a huge space, large enough for another tooth between my teeth. You would think it would have alerted them and I the patient would have been informed that the crown wasn't right. Not me doing the informing. This is evident that zero assessments took place by the dentist. Finally, after several visits to fix incompetent dental work to crown. I returned for the final crown to be placed and it's the DA that's doing all the work to ensue it fits, no sign of the Dentist. She walks out of exam room to bring Dr. Sam Ganji to cement the crown. He never acknowledged me, didn't give me an explanation, never assessed my comfort or pain level or make attempt to express what to expect. He cemented the crown, I was handed a mirror and he rushed out the room within 5 minutes. Rush in and rush out. I was confident he was allowing the cement to dry in order to seal crown so he could finish the job. Once I realized he was not coming back, I asked the DA, "Is that it?." After her confirmation I asked her for aftercare and flossing instructions. It was then during her teaching that I noticed the crown he cemented wasn't sealed at the gum line and the porcelain set high above my gum and outward outside of my gum line. There was a black opening along my gums that looked like black decay. I immediately told the DA I wanted the crown to be removed and adjusted. She brought Dr. Ganji to room to address issue and he basically stated, too late you signed the paper for cementing. He also said, if I ordered a glove to be made by him, his only responsibility was to ensure the glove fit. He was not responsible for how it looked. The DA attempted several time to correct his manner and to get him to explain himself more professionally. The DA was compassionate and set a follow up appointment for two weeks for observation. During the follow up appointment I expected a resolution, but only received a combative stance and huge ego from Dr. Sam Ganji. He never attempted to assess the crown. He sat on a stool and responded arrogantly, "I'm a doctor," to every concern I attempted to communicate. As if I'm not important because I'm the patient. It was like trying to reason with a child who was having a tantrum. If his defense is his medical degree, he definitely should know better. Now his degree is more important than the Oath he took. I refused to argue with him and exited his dental practice. He didn't care, he was already paid. He is well aware that 2 dentist have documented the crown needs replacing. Which will cost several thousand dollars that I've already paid Ganji Dental. I formally requested a copy of my dental records so another dentist can immediately make corrections, but was told I would have to wait 7 to 10 working days. read more
