High praises for the outstanding order on line and pick up service and employees. I had started using this for several months due to temporary mobility issue. I have continued intermittently because it's great! Always satisfied with products, ease of ordering and the amazing employees that shop and deliver to my vehicle. Friendly and helpful. I advocate often for these dedicated employees be allowed to receive a tip at the customer's discretion. Most of us want to reward great service! read more

Not the worst and not the best Hannaford's I've visited. The vegetable selection isn't the best the options on freshness varied, lots of wilted items with very limited options for organic produce. The staff are friendly. I'd go elsewhere next time but this was the closest at 15minutes from where I was staying. read more

I started to get my perscriptions filled at this location and the pharmacy has been very helpful. They helped me find a lower price for a daily medication that I take. In particular, a pharmacist, Melissa went the extra mile to transfer a medication to another pharmacy and track it's progress. On the store side, it's a good Hannafords. It's clean with good quality foods. It's only drawback that it's a little small, so expect a wait at busy times. read more

If I could rate this store any lower I would. I recently purchased an angel food cake from here and the label said the allergens did not contain peanuts or tree nuts and was also not listed as being cross contaminated. My 7 year old son has a severe allergy to these two nuts, I was excited to see something in the bakery he could eat. He ate the cake that night and within 20 min was in an ambulance. I called Hannaford the next day and spoke to the bakery where she said "oh yeah it's all contaminated". But not listed. The manager rambled and stuttered his way through a 3 minute conversation ending with it was above his expertise on why it wasn't labeled correctly. No apologies were given at all. My son could have died that night but Hannaford seems to think that's ok. After consulting with several lawyers we will be pursuing this further. read more

I love this Hannafords. Of the four Hannafords I've been to, this one has a larger selection of everything: produce, meat, cheese, bakery, etc. The night manager knows me by name as well as a number of the employees where as the other employees, including those who are stocking shelves, remember me and always say hello with a smile. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. My favorite grocery store in the area. read more

Great local supermarket - plenty of fresh and organic vegetables, breads, wines and seafood. Lots of prepared foods - salad bar, fried chicken, sushi, soups and sandwiches, paninis, quiche, etc. I like the California sushi and the veggie rolls. Prices are a little higher than market Basket but the quality seems better. read more

it's a more pleasant store than market basket the people are nice. Now it's so obvious this has become a corporate MBA run bussiness whove hired a consultant to tell them how to run it and sadly it's not working..start with the deli... they've jacked all their sliced items up higher than SHAWS! In the self serve sliced meat area .. they pack them with 8 or ten dollars worth.. they used to have pre made chef salad 6,99 fsirly good size..now it's a quarter of that size ..still 6.99! on and on.. the meat dept they've made everything Family size so if you want hamburger you have to pay 9 bux for it ..along with everything else 15 bux for chicken breasts ect..they have prepacked fresh fruits ..on the shelf they place the large sizes right in front of you..6 bux..and the 3 dollar ones way out of site...they have tactics like this all over the store..the shelves are frequently unstocked..a worker told me corporate won't let them replenish until they say so..the produce is the same..4 days no cucumbers tomatoes ect ect..I wanted garlic none.. the clerk said corporate won't let us get it its not a good seller enough..speaking of wkich..back at the deli I wanted plain old potatoe salad..they only have red bliss or egg and potatoe I asked the manager why? Oh corporate says it's the third best seller so they discontinued it! Mean time they are jammed with the other two nobodies buyin it! I'll leave it to you what to think..did I mention at 7pm they shut down all the lights in the whole back of the store.? I guess Market Basket must be kickin their butt...or these mbas and consultants don't get it.. read more

WORMS in my salmon, thin, white and red, yuck!! Still having dry heaves at the thought...Probably won't be able to eat seafood again and really hoping I don't have parasites from this! Also, prices are high compared with other chains. And I also bought defective leaking food coloring there. Not going back for a third strike. The options aren't great in the area but there is certainly better than Hannafords that is if you don't want to eat worms. Market Basket hasn't disappointed yet. read more

Love this Grocery store. I rated two stars due to the to go program. We left Market Basket during their strike 3 years ago and never looked back. However their new to go program is a disaster. We have tried it for the third time this week and we are done. Things ordered not in bags. Things we didn't order in our bags. Dairy products with one or two day expiration dates. Over ripe produce in our order. No available pick up times when it's convenient for us to pick up our orders. We had to return to the store to twice to deal with these issues. My advice is to not use this service it's a disaster read more
