As the name implies, this is a place to come for facials. Meaning, it is not a day spa with amenities. It's located in an office like building. The suite was cutely decorated, it was very clean. I selected to have the 75 minute simply custom facial without peel. The room was cozy, again very clean. Relaxing music played in the background. Leica was very attentive to my personal comfort by asking if I wanted the room warmer or cooler. The facial itself was very soothing and I might have fallen asleep for a few minutes. One of the best parts of my treatment actually happened when Leica massaged my scalp with brushes or combs (not sure which). This definitely brought on the tingles. My treatment was $150 for 75 minutes. Definitely worth it. I certainly recommend if you're in the area.

Our appointment was with Annabelle, and she was an absolute doll. Super knowledgeable, but what stood out was how she explained everything while she was doing it. Step by step, she made sure we actually understood what was happening and why. We did the Pico laser treatment! I had a bunch of dark spots, and one of them literally popped louder than the others. She broke it down right there, explaining how darker pigment needs deeper penetration. That kind of detail? You don't get that everywhere. Long story short, this is the place. Whether it's Botox with Lindsay, facials with Liana D, or any other treatment--they've got it dialed in. Hence, I'm not seeing any difference in the specific area that was really bothering me. Ki had said I would see a difference but I don't so I wonder why I wasn't offered a little more. I was certainly willing to pay for more if it would have helped.

My appointment was with BinZ who was very friendly. I needed a bio gel fill, and he really impressed me! He was very thorough, and did a TERRIFIC job! I booked another appointment with him for 2 weeks later. He will definitely be my go-to person! My only negative experience was when I went to pay. There were at least 3 girls behind the counter doing their accounting for the day. Not one of them addressed me or offered to assist me after I gave them my charge ticket. (Note: They take cash, check or Zelle only since they don't have card reader.) Since it was my first time, I wasn't sure how to proceed but soon figured out that I could use their tel# or QR code to Zelle them. Overall, the staff is very friendly. I am going on a trip tomorrow and decided I wanted to pay to get them professionally done for the occasion to treat myself. This was a very good reminder of why I do them myself now... The nail tech was nice and worked quickly... too quickly. They didn't trim my cuticles or the skin around my nails. I asked for an ombré nail design, which is shown on their menu and provided a picture of the exact colors I wanted. Another nail tech came and took my phone to pick colors out and just started painting them on some of my nails before the original tech had even put gel on them. It was very odd... the second tech was rushing the first and was honestly doing a sloppy job. The color ended up being super off.. it was a Christmas tree green instead of a blue- teal color. I don't blame her for that, the bottle looked like a different color than the paint. They were also streaky and completely see-through. She asked if I liked them and I told her those things, and she told me the reference picture was see through too (which it was not-I added the reference) but she still redid them which I appreciated. I picked the new color myself, which matched the reference pic more and also wasn't see-through which was way better. The airbrush was having issues, which I could tell was super frustrating to them which sucks. But they just seemed to not really know how to do it very well. They finished and rushed me out quickly without cleaning any of the gel of my skin. With airbrush they usually wipe the paint off the skin before curing it so this doesn't happen. Now it's been a real pain to try to get off. They also did not clean up the sides of my nails, which were all jagged. I had to do a full nail clean up when I got home. Thankfully I have all the stuff at home to do that. The only reason for 3-stars is that the gel x nails are properly applied and should last. Overall I was not impressed. As a new client who is paying good money (and extra for a nail design) I expect some level of care. Also now knowing how to do a proper gel manicure, it's so obvious when they cut corners and rush (no nail/cuticle prep or clean up, only one layer of paint). And maybe don't offer a service (ombré) if you aren't confident in it or don't have properly working equipment. I wanted to do something nice for myself but ended up having more of a headache in the end, and had to pay my hard earned money for that headache.

I want to sing Stacy Serrano's praises at Karizma. I am unemployed and haven't had a professional cut in eons, but I three weeks ago I was given money for a haircut so I went online to see who was offering specials, since everything is expensive to me. Anyway, Karizma had a great offer and I got Stacy...it was not a good day and 'they' say you should never get your hair cut on a bad day, but I did anyway, and boy, am I glad I did. I came armed with pics and comments - she 'got' me and my hair so quickly and pinpointed with dead accuracy all my hair issues. Then she said, "I know what to do with your hair. Do you trust me?" I said sure (she seemed to know what she was doing) and she went to work. I was so impressed with her skill and know-how and bottom-line, with the cut and style she gave me. It completely changed my day, and lifted my spirits. I went back today 'cause I thought I needed a trim and my bangs were driving me crazy - when she saw me she said, "What are you doing here? You don't need a trim. Let's just do your bangs." and she proceeded to do just that and blew dry my hair and wouldn't charge me for the service, saying it's a courtesy she gives to her clients. I was impressed and happy. Go to her. She knows what she's doing and is wonderful too. Really good with fine, thick straight hair like mine. read more

I am a transplant from Denver, having arrived here over 2 years ago. Finding new service people is the hardest part about moving. I kissed a few "hairdresser frogs" before I found the right one; Carrie Telling of Karizma. A whiz with scissors, hair color and the blow-dry, I think she is worth her weight in gold. Approaching 60 my hair isn't what it used to be. I wouldn't exactly classify myself as the easiest client, but Carrie and her fabulous staff always make me feel at home with their caring nature and professional expertise. It's not enough to have the ability, a good hairdresser needs to listen and deliver. She does... reason #63 why I will never go anywhere else! I have been going to Carrie Telling for well over 2o years! I have see her do amazing hair colors and hair cuts on her clients and they continue to come back to her for her knowledge and experience with every hair type. I myself have had Carrie doing Perms on me for as long as i can remember. She does a superb job. I am not just not talking about frizzy unruly old lady styles, like years ago. My hair is the most naturally looking curly hair I have come to know, everyone I meet thinks I have naturally born with curly hair! In my honest opinion she is the best around ! I had previously gone to The Canyon Salon and received a terrible cut and color by a stylist there, and was on a rampage to find someone to correct it immediately!! I highly recommend Cindy as well as Carrie and Allie. They also stay within my budget. Carrie always has a smile and did a fantastic job of cutting and coloring my hair to frame my features. I went to Staci today for the first time. I had a ton of photos with me to show her what I wanted. My hair has been very problematic as of late. I have gone to a couple of different hair stylists for color and cuts, but it still looked too light and faded out. The last stylist had even used thinning shears on it. Okay so I have angry-crazy-unruly hair and Carrie Telling has been the only hair dresser to ever tame the beast! I get compliments all the time on my ever changing hair(long-short, brown-blonde). I havent been to a high end salon in years. I have very thick wavy hair and when ever I walk into a salon the stylist have no clue what to do. But Jamie at Karizma was amazing. She really worked with me and explained why and what she was doing at all times. She actually cared and took her time with me. I will definitely be going back on a regular basis to Jamie. The first thing she did was ask for a bunch of photos before our appointment. I sent a bunch, including a photo of me at 10 years old. Oh how I wished my hair was the same as it was when I was 10. Well, Shayna worked some magic with color, highlights, and cut, and WHOA! I felt like I was back to my 10 year old self. So happy!!! My second appointment was as wonderful as the first-- we did a keratin treatment and trim. Words cannot describe how happy I am with my hair! Read on, if desired. I found him on Groupon with a deal of $87.50 for cut and single-process hair color or partial highlight. I asked for a single process color (I'm getting grays and wanted to get closer to my natural color for easier coverage over time). I asked for a few face-framing highlights on top of the Groupon. He said it would be "a little more" for that since it wasn't in the Groupon. I agreed, thinking based on my experience of going to salons for 30+ years, that "a little extra" would be around $30? We get done after a 2.5 hour appt (almost to the minute) during which he cut and thinned out my hair (cutting it WAY shorter -about 4 inches extra!- than I asked!) doing an all-over color (except for my roots like I specifically asked for--left those dry, and after I asked if he was going to do them looked annoyed and did a one-inch section where I part it), and 4--count them-- 4 foils for face-framing highlights. So, to sum up, cut and all over color with 4 foils. We go to check out, I'm annoyed at the short length of my hair, but hey, it grows back, when he tells me it'll be $150.00 on top of the Groupon price of $87.50. SAY WHAT????? Needless to say, I was flabbergasted and flummoxed and kind of out of it so I just paid it. Got in my car and called my husband for advice because I NEVER get flummoxed like this. So I text Keefe to see if it was a mistake. He calls me and tells me a bunch of crap about how it was a "color correction" (first I'd heard of it!) and I had such thick hair, and he spent so much time with me (have you ever had a cut and color that lasted less than 2.5 hours? I sure haven't), and think of it as an investment, he gave me such a deal because it should have been over $300!, and it requires so much skill, and was a masterpiece, etc. etc. He would not refund any of the money he overcharged. I expressed my sincere displeasure and disagreement with his tactics of poor communication, overcharging, and exorbitant fees at that and that I would not have gotten his info off Groupon if I were willing to pay such an enormous fee (totaled $255, much more than I've ever paid for a hairstyle, even in LA). He stood his ground and was patronizing as ever. He texted me a few hours later to say that if I changed my mind he would do my next haircut for free. Nah bro. Nah. Can't wait to see what nonsense he'll have to say about me and my hair if he responds. Don't trust him.
