I was looking for a Harley Davidson Nighttrain and was doing some research online And was contacted by several dealerships. JR a sales person from Hannum was the first to contact me and happened to have the specific bike that I was interested in which is Harley Nightrain. The dealerships located in media and was very convenient for me to get to I live near the Philadelphia airport. Upon arrival I was instantly greeted JR brought the bike outside started it up I told him there was no need for me to write it even though he did offer me the opportunity to do so. I applied for financing through Harley Davidson with the manager and minutes later I was approved and was scheduling the pick up for the next couple days. They gave me the phone number to Harley Davidson insurance I called couple minutes later I was insured they contacted the dealership with all the necessary information And I picked up my bike the very next day. When I came to the dealership JR was very prompt with bringing the bike out going over all the features and explaining and answering any questions that I could possibly have. I was then taken into the finance office where I met the finance manager again our interaction was seamless and very efficient and timely. I also was introduced upstairs to the young lady who handles the clothing and accessory and also to the gentleman that run the service department. Everyone that I met at the dealership was more than welcoming friendly and very knowledgeable about about the Harley Davidson's. I've had the bike for a little over a week didn't have much time to ride it unfortunately due to work. I received a phone call yesterday which was a pleasant surprise from JR to make sure everything was OK and if I had any further questions. Not only am I pleased with my purchase I can honestly say that my interaction with this dealership was second to none I would definitely not hesitate to buy another bike or to recommend anyone that is interested in looking for a motorcycle to HANNUMS in Media, Pennsylvania. read more

I've only been there once for service on my 07' RK. I had done some troubleshooting myself and replaced some parts to no avail and explained what I thought the problem was to the service reps. I asked them to troubleshoot the starter for me and some other PITA maintenance stuff I didn't have the inclination to do on my own and gave them plenty of time to service it properly. The service department (and mech) were honest with me and got the bike back to where I wanted it mechanically for a reasonable price. They never tried to BS me and charged me fair labor rates (total hours) too which I appreciated. I normally don't get work done at dealerships but I'm fairly new to the area and don't know of any reliable / good Indy wrenches here. I appreciated their honesty and service fees (as much as can be hoped for from a dealer) and the confidence that the wrench working on my bike had the knowledge to do the work right the first time around (it's a mixed bag at Indy shops sometimes. The indy shop owners may have great reputations but they don't always hire top notch guys). My bike has aftermarket mods (S&S) and the dealership didn't seem to be bothered by that either which is nice. The bike is running like it should now and if I need anything done down the road I'll go back to have the shop in Media do it for me. Also, whoever they have detailing the bikes did an amazing job on mine! I don't pamper my bike at all and it looked awesome when I got it back. While pictures we sent and I have purchased 5 bikes from Hannum's. when asking Jeff if he could do better, he said he would call me back. it's Friday night and no response. My husband took a taxi to Hannum's, with helmet in hand, since there was a 50% chance he was going to roll out of there with a new ride. After a couple of hours of sitting on many Harley Davidsons and Triumphs, he found one to take on a test run in the parking lot and made his decision to buy a 2013 Triumph Bonneville. It was a very rainy day, I think that three inches of rain had come down in a short span, so I was a bit nervous about him riding home, as he normally rides a scooter and is not as experienced on a motorcycle yet. But really, it was the heavy rain and accumulation of said rain that was making me nervous, combined with car drivers possibly not paying attention. He was just about to ride home when the owner, Rita offered to arrange a ride for him and his new bike on one of their delivery trucks. We have been looking to buy our first Harley. We mostly stick to vintage rides and brands not Harley so it was nice that they were so welcoming there to newcomers of the brand. Everyone is very helpful and happy to let you ride anything, even multiple times if need be until you find the right ride for you. Also, nice little waiting area upstairs complete with a comfy couch, popcorn and drinks while you wait for test rides to end. Great experience, we will be back. Travelled 24 miles over 4.1 miles to get a deal here. John (sales) went out of his way to get the sale, with personal phone conversations on what I wanted, options, texting me about parts prices, etc. etc. Valley Forge could care less and offered me $1200 less in trade for my bikes than Hannum's. Bottom line, you want some personal service when buying a bike that is $20,000. It is a relationship and more expensive than many new cars. Bikes break down far more often, especially Harleys, so get to know your dealers. Hannum's got my business because of their TENACITY for customer service. Rarely do I ever find any place worthy of 5 stars, we all need improvement, but if you are in the market for a HD (used or new), this is your store. Others gave up, they kept at it. Earned my business even with the 1 hour round trip required, versus Valley Forge which is 1/4 of that time. Showroom is misleading from outside, the action and inventory is inside and is 3x larger than Valley Forge HD. They kept my spare parts separate, as requested, and I picked them up along with my brand new Street Bob without issue. License plate was on bike at pickup along with registration they already provided, very nicely done. read more

Came here to buy a Triumph which is the second brand they carry. After several test rides on various models I settled in on a Thruxton. There was a little problem in getting the bike in and set-up on time, but in the end everything worked out fine and I'm happy I purchased the bike here. I purchased a 2018 Street Glide Special from Hannum's Harley Davidson in Media PA. When negotiating with the sales manager JR he knocked $1,500 off cost of the bike. Good for me..so I thought...When I signed off before I reviewed the sales summary (stupid of me to sign - I trusted him) I noticed $906.00 charge for destination fee and a $845 charge for after market pipes. I have purchased 15 cars and multiple Bikes...when someone says the price is X less the 1,500 that is what you should get. Thats what I have experienced in my time of purchasing big ticket items...but not at Hannum's. I've purchased luxury cars with a much lower destination charge than the 906.00 they charged for a Bike! I complained about all the tacked on charges, fees, and deceptive sales practices.... and they gave me some after market add ons that totaled about 700 bucks to make me happy. When I purchased the Bike I had to pick it up a week after the sale because there was needed work for a scratch. The Salesman Paul called me to confirm a time. I showed up a week later and he never showed up. He called me the day before and said he would be there at 11AM!? When I asked for him that morning the staff said, "He always runs late". 12:20 he was still not in! Another salesman helped me. At the end of the day..I wouldn't buy a bike at this location. Shady sales tactics and bad trade in values. If you do go be ready to negotiate and be aware of everything these sales people do. check everything and trust none of the sales people. You will be better off going somewhere else. Not only that, but before I purchased the new Bike I had offered to sell them my Bike and not purchase anything. They offered me 9K. When I did decide to trade it they listed it for $14,900! Nice Margin! This is the point..I was stupid and took them at their word. Do yourself a favor and go to Brians in Langhorne PA. You will have a much better experience. I will say Hannum's Service Department has been outstanding over the years. Just buy somewhere else. I bought a new 2013 Triumph Trophy Aug 24, 2014. The staff was very friendly. They matched a price that I found at another dealer so I thought it was a good deal. What I didn't find out was they were getting rid of the Triumph Dealership part of the business a week after I bought the bike. The bike was missing some screws, a washer on the windshield, a few rubber grommets and a broken fuse connection. I didn't see this stuff because it was mostly behind the fairing. The windshield was also put together wrong. left and right side supports were backwards. Not all parts were ordered or they lost them. I received a call the parts were in but when the service was done only a couple parts were actually in. I was also told they can no longer do any warranty work because they are no longer a Triumph dealer. It was actually easier for me to order the parts and do it myself. If that's not enough for some reason it takes them longer than 30 day to register the bike. So now after 5 weeks My bike is not registered and I can't use it. I gave them a one star rating because I couldn't give them a zero. read more
