And then I found Hanosh & Hunter Dental Group. The whole office acts as a team. They are incredibly friendly as well as professional. Their procedures and equipment are state of the art. I see Dr, Sanner, who explains everything very well. There is complete understanding before a treatment. I needed extensive work and together we came up with a plan that actually has me excited. From my initial exam two years ago to my recent crown last month, their focus is not only at the time of treatment but for my future dental health. I Feel as though they truly care about me, my concerns and my overall health as a patient. I can't say enough in regard to the quality of services I've received. Excellent care! I have pretty bad dental anxiety but not any longer. Dr. Hunter is very respectful and makes sure you're a comfortable as possible. While I know many have had good experiences with this office, I fear I have not. I am a difficult dental patient, terrified to the point of needing sedation for something as simple as a cleaning. I thought Dr. Hunter would be a good choice, as their office is listed as "compassionate and caring", and he is a sedation dentist. I fear that the office staff were NOT at all compassionate nor caring of my condition. One in particular was exceptionally rude to me, the patient, when I asked for appointments. I had some extensive work done, and while pleased with the work, I was not pleased that Dr. Hunter didn't listen to me when I said that something was wrong with my bite. It took almost a YEAR before he would correct that. He did and I was very happy with what he did. But it took over a year and two visits before he addressed the issue (and yes, something was wrong). Also, the office would not schedule cleanings for me and regular work, because they insisted I go to a periodontist, without fully explaining why. When I asked Dr. Hunter if root plane procedure would be sufficient he did say yes, and when I asked if this could be done in his office he reluctantly said yes. Scheduled me with his Root Plane Hygienist Specialist, who, while kind, caused my gums to become very swollen within 24 hours of the exam (not even the planing, just an exam). I called and asked for an antibiotic because I feared an abscess and was told they would not treat it, nor would they see me. Two days after that (after getting antibiotics elsewhere) I called the office and asked what they intended to do about my condition. In response, I was given a letter stating that Hunter would no longer service me. I leave my experience as a warning to others to make sure to self-advocate. read more

Recently had a bridge that was loose and also had some decay which was giving me some pain. I have had other dentistry done over the many years I have had problems with my teeth. But getting Dr. Beau Hunter to fix my bridge and actually manufacture it while I waited was brilliant. The entire process was pain-free which is a big accomplishment with this depth of work. Getting my bridge manufactured and sized while I watched the process was amazing and the bridge fits better and looks much more natural than anything I have ever had before. What a great team from the office manager Cindy who found just the right time for my appointment, to the doctor and the doctors assistant members. Dr. Scott has been my dentist for over 10 years now, despite the fact that I have moved an hour and a half away! I don't care if it was double that, I would still commute gladly, knowing I am in good, trustworthy hands. I constantly have people tell me how lucky I am to have such a beautiful smile naturally, but it is actually due to Dr. Scott's capable hands! He did both of my oral surgeries, and all of my orthodontic work. It was quite an undertaking, in which they were always as accommodating as possible; and they involved me in my treatment plan, so I always knew what was going on and why. I have had two major procedures done here and both have been absolutely exceptional. Both Dr. Hanosh and Dr. Hunter are very professional and make the procedures a breeze. Amazing experience. All employees were welcoming and extremely nice. My first visit there made me feel like I'm a regular already. They seem like a genuine group of people! I'm not someone who has stress upon going to the dentist, as it's my favorite doctor to go to, but it felt like this business was taking extra steps to limit anxiety. Walking in doesn't look like a typical dentist office, and it has an upscale feel (has a non-alcoholic drink bar too?!). Meg at the front desk was inviting and started conversation easily. Danielle, the hygienist, was so knowledgeable, gentle, and understanding. I was even offered a blanket in case I was cold. Dr. Hunter and doctor in training (Dr. Tanonami(?)) were comfortable to be around and acted like regular, fair team-players, and not full of ego. Renee, the woman explaining insurance and costs to me, was pleasant and patient with my questions. Plus, they offer all dental services from the same office. In the past I've had to be referred to dental surgeons or other specialists, but not here!
