The staff is super helpful and there are SO MANY TREES to choose from. They will open up some wrapped trees if you want but if not there are plenty already opened! The trees are definitely on the pricey side even for a tree that isn't huge -- our tree is one of the smallest we have ever had (around 6-7 ft) and the total cost was 97 dollars. They do everything for you once you pick out your tree: cut the stem, wrap it up on your car, and chop any extra branches you don't want. Love this place and highly recommend coming here to find your tree next year. They have noble firs, douglas firs, and many others to suit your needs. Everything is labeled with colors corresponding to size to make the process even easier!

While you may get some things for a little less, the value Ace and their staff provides is second to none. You just dont wait. Walk in and they help you - even if you aren't sure what you are doing. I could be in and out of Ace Alamo before someone even talks to me at Home Depot or Lowes. If you are on the fence, go there - will be well worth your while.

Super fun day for our four-year-old and his best bud to go on jumpy houses. It's clean enough I think because it's been raining a couple days that the kids came back a little wet from the jumpy having puddles of water in them, but an hour of bounce time with only little kids and not having to worry about big kids, jumping into them was totally worth it. If they had time, they would have gone to the pumpkin patch, but they were so exhausted from all the jumpy houses. It was Fantastic. We will be back on another day in October for more fun and maybe get a pumpkin on the way home!

We had such a great experience we would recommend everyone in the Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon, Livermore area to come check them out for their Christmas tree needs. They have tree stands, tree care solution, I think wreaths too etc. very well lit tree lot. Levi gave our tree some TLC with a fresh cut, carefully hauled it to our van and secured it very well, ensuring it was to our liking as we would be traveling on the highway back to home. There was a ton of parking and a ton of lots to choose from. They give you a saw on your way in and a map with all the prices and trees. The trees cost the same regardless of the price. A small cedar and a large cedar will be the same price. You can wander, take pictures, and cut your tree. It is such a fun family activity and I can't wait to go every year now. The trees start at around $125 so it is pricey but you are supporting a local family business! The owner was so kind to help me tie the tree to my car too!

The cashiers are quick and efficient, and a new one shows up quickly when the line gets long so there's never a long wait. You can also order ahead and do "curbside" pickup. There is a separate building dedicated to grilling supplies and accessories. They have a large and wide selection of pellets, briquettes, wood chips and a mind-bending wall of seasonings. There is a good garden section in back with a modest selection of quality plants that you can trust.

I practically had to step IN FRONT on someone to ask for the last item I was looking for despite several folks in red vests. At checkout same cashier didn't ask for my phone number for Ace Rewards. When queried, she responded that the transaction was complete and offered a half hearted cancellation and rering. I did decline. I wish this was an anomaly but I was in this store with my son about two weeks ago to a similar response. The only competitive advantage that locally owned hardware stores have over big box stores and Amazon is service. I live in Hawaii (Oahu) and have a home in Phoenix --- Barry's Ace Hardware in Phoenix is amazing. I have already given up and defected to Home Depot in Hawaii for the same reasons as above.
