This was our last stop and it was just a whim before we gave up and tried a grocery store - which I'm so opposed to. But with the other two farms, prices were ridiculous, tree selections was meh. This place? Great! Prices were competitive, workers were amazing, I couldn't have picked a better place. Everyone's attitudes were...jolly. The video doesn't do the place justice. You have to go and take it all in in person. It's a beautiful nursery. They have a good variety of succulents, California natives, annuals, perennials, and trees. A lot of which you do not see at a typical big box store. I saw several rare plants that I've never seen anywhere. That's a PLUS! The staff I came across were very friendly and helpful. More than one person approached me to see if I needed any help. Prices are reasonable. I was lucky to have gone during a 30% off 4 inch plants, so I definitely took advantage of the sale. They have a gift shop as well. Super cute place! If it's your first time, don't pull into the first parking lot marked, "overflow parking." Keep to your right and follow the path down to the main area. There is plenty of parking there. This nursery is definitely one you will want to visit, even if you're just browsing. I went to browse and did not leave empty-handed. I will definitely be back.

Gianna, and two other amazingly helpful plant experts worked together to find the perfect flowering combination for my pot. While they searched, I strolled through the nursery's beautiful grounds. There were so many colorful flowers, gorgeous plants and trees, and an abundance of vegetable to choose from. Gianna came over to show me what they had chosen, and I couldn't have been more pleased! They took into consideration the amount of light my pot would get, and even chose flowers that would compliment the color of my front steps-so thoughtful Prices were on par for high quality plants. I paid $31.65 for the three beautiful, hand picked plants (Gianna is holding them in one of the pics!) There are so many more positive things that I could say about my experience at Orchard Nursery!, but I recommend that you go and see for yourselves. Also, don't forget to pop into Lazy K's gift shop. It's the charming little house off to the right-full of lovely treasures. The team clearly loves what they do, and takes pride in their work. My husband and I bought a Christmas tree here for…read morethe first time on Friday for $172 for a 7/8 ft tree not including the $10 tip we gave the guy who helped us (Austin). His only job was to put the tree stand on the tree securely and tie it to the roof of our car. Well, just 2 days later on Sunday at 3:30am we hear a huge bang and glass shatter (super loud and scary - we thought someone broke into our house). When we came out of our bedroom, we saw the Christmas Tree had completely fallen over and broke half of our ornaments. Ornaments that my husband and I have collected over the years to places we traveled to and even new ones we bought this year. Just utter shock. We will never get those memories back. When I called the owner this morning - Bryan, he honestly couldn't care less. He told me it was a problem with our tree stand (which we purchased from Toby's Christmas Tree lot in Walnut Creek and have used for 3 years with zero issues) and that there is nothing he could do for us unless we brought the tree back for a refund. When my husband came home today, he saw that they did not place the tree stand on correctly and that is why it fell over. Bryan doesn't care about his customers or their experience. He told me they put the tree stand on as a courtesy (every tree lot does includes this service). He took zero accountability, had zero empathy, nor apologized or tried to even make it right. Clearly, he needs the money. I will NEVER buy a Christmas Tree from here ever again and do not recommend this place. Great holiday spirit Bryan! Merry Christmas!

Once I brought it to her, she looked at it and said it only needed cotter pins. She brought out a couple and fastened both detached wheels back on the cart quite fast. Sonia was immensely helpful and super friendly! I was nervous that my cart would not have been able to be fixed and that I had to buy a new one, but I was truly impressed that Sonia fixed it within 5 minutes!
