Wonderful service and excellent work. My girlfriend opted for a different dip with sparkles, that isn't her normal choice. We never go for that, but the color and subtle sprinkles are beautiful to her and me. Steven (that did this) is a gentleman with a big heart. Go's bless you guys and this place. This is next to Villarta, where you can grab a bite to eat and a drink while watching football if wanted and get groceries. Very close to two casinos if interested.

Cuticles bled from how much "dead" skin he kept chipping away at

One of the roughest mani/pedis I've ever had. The gentleman who did my mani and pedi kept cutting and cutting at my cuticles. Both my hands and feet cuticles are sore and tender. The massage was also very intense. Granted I'm not big on massages, but this was painful. Needless to say I won't be going back here.

The shop is nice and clean, but unfortunately I had a painful experience. My cuticles are bleeding and sore on both hands. I screeched when she nicked me once and she put alcohol on it but after my appointment I noticed that my other hand was also raw, sore, and bloody. I really wanted to like this place.

Do not go here. Big mistake coming here for my birthday nails. 3 freaking nails came off within 5 days! Incredibly ridiculous how I paid for it to not even last a week!! Go to CN Nails in Lq, that's my usual to go place & I can't believe I didn't just wait to see them. Now I'm missing 3 nails for my friends wedding in Mexico. Ridiculous. AVOID AR ALL COST UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR ACRYLICS TO COME OFF!!

Nina did my nails. She was fast but worked with precision. My nail was a bit short but she masterfully did the powder full set with the green shade that I like without complaining that my nails are too short or trying to make me do more stuff. The green shade that I want wad kinda particular, and Nina had to make the shade on the spot. I am amazed at how beautiful it is. My nails are neat and to perfection. I love thems!

Amazing! This was one of the best deluxe pedicures I've ever received. The massage and hot stones with it was the best! And I'm picky with most of my nail salons being in LA. This place is so close to our second home and this will be our nail salon in the desert after trying a few others. My daughter had her nails and pedicure done as was extremely happy too!

My mom goes to Kim weekly... I went with Michael today since Kim was out. He did an amazing job and exactly what I asked for. I wasn't afraid to be meticulous and picky with my color and shape with him which is a big plus for me! He was so friendly and a great conversation maker! Very satisfied with my set! I wanted a natural color and most nail salons pick something "natural" for fair-toned people. He knew which shade of brown to use, and the pricing was AMAZING. Did not overcharge me like most places do. Overall great experience! I'll be back. (Also Danny gives great pedicure massages.)

Ask for french tips and got the ones you see in the picture. The woman who did my nails was rough and rushed. She gave me attitude and shoved my hand into the LED light before I could even check the work before curing. She pinched my pinky nail for approximately 5 minutes while she was straight up having a conversation with an other employee (employee came over to our station and stood half a foot from my face). I pulled my pinky away 3 time before an other lady came into the salon and caused them to stop talking. I will never come back. It's dirty, employees have no regard for their customers, overall horrible experience. Oh and the nails were 61$...

The service was amazing, Hanna is always so kind and gentle. I always felt so awkward brining up my reaction to water and she treats my skin gentle when I got a pedicure I didn't even break out into hives. The vibes here are amazing, everyone here are such sweethearts just don't be afraid to start conversations with anyone ! My nails came out so cute I came in and walked in and I only had to wait like 15 minutes and next thing I know I'm in a chair talking to Hanna and getting a pedicure and she was gentle and so understanding. I than wanted to get my nails done after all and she did them for me even though they were about to close soon! Happiness nails & spa is such an amazing place. *for those who say their nails come off you literally have to force it off** I have physical training in the academy and I hit my nail back pretty hard didn't even want to look was so sure it broke nope nail was still on I was so happy definitely would say it's durable. I'm doing body shots,knee kicks,blocks and throwing punches a lot lol for the reviews who say they come off you have to be really have them on for a while or get them off on your own because they don't budge !!*** read more

Bittersweet post. I have had multiple services here and my pedicure is EXCELLENT every time! The team is wonderful and I love their service. So I went back before a big trip out of the country and was excited to get a full set cause I could actually have nails for vacation (not allowed for work). I had to go back after 3 days because a few of my nails were lifting, they fixed it free of charge. However, just 4 days later, I was out of the country already and my nails started popping off one after another. By 3 days into my trip, I had only the thumbs remaining. I'm not kidding the nails were coming off clean, full nails. Regardless; I'll continue to see them for my pedicures, but I was very upset that I spent this money to have my beautiful set completely ruined within a week. read more

I've been going to this place for years, ever since these new owners took over the service is terrible and staff is rude. I recently went to get my nails done and the lady who tended to me was very rude, I think she's the new owner, and my gel peeled off within a few days after paying $40 + tipped. If I could give a 0 stars I would. read more

This nail salon didn't disappoint. I used the yelp app to find a local salon for a mani/pedi & called Happiness nails to see if I could come in! Arrived within 10 mins of my call and was matched up with a gentleman- I believe the only man working at the time & He was top notch! Service options were given & I picked the deluxe treatment for a mani/ pedi. I was there over a hour & half! Quality of work was precise, gentle & caring with everything. I wish the massage could of been an option for longer but definitely was wonderful & relaxing. This salon was a located during a weekend travel but I would highly recommend for all to try. Called to see about a walk-in and they were accommodating and welcoming. Large selection of gel polish shades and a wall full of pedicure treatment products. The shop was clean and quiet, with muted tv which I appreciated after a long day at work. I chose the priciest service (really wanted the most massage time and the paraffin dip). Gel polish was a $15 add on. Total with credit card fee was $70, which is less than the pedicure at my regular place and I tipped $20z My pedicurist took his time especially during the polish stage and my feet felt and looked amazing. I had been traveling and all the puffiness in my feet is gone. I may make this my regular pedi spot. read more

Horrible the lady hurt me and she has each time I've done my nails there. This time was just too much because my nail was cut down the middle. There prices listed is not what they charge and the lady said "Oh yeah those prices are before COVID". Update your signage. Oh to add to that, I asked my nails and toes be painted and she made a comment that I could do it at home for her for $2. I'm at fault for giving the person the benefit of the doubt and go to the same lady that's hurt me. There's a lady that name Christine and she's nice. read more

This was my first time here and honestly, I feel like I've got instant funny, kind, warm, genuine friends... who do AMAZING NAILS! Paul did my pedi and not only did he do an excellent job, he used hot stones on in my feet for the massage- highly recommend! Tina was just a sweetheart, sharing stories about herself and not skipping a beat with my mani, which turned out beautifully. I love this place!! Went back for my second fill from Simon and he did an amazing job! Love that he takes his time on filing and making sure the shape is exactly what I want. I've been to so many different nail salons and this place has definitely got my heart, I'm super picky with my nails and they always take their time to make sure I leave happy which I always do! :) Btw everyone here is amazing! All so sweet and they really take their time with you. read more

Great place to get your nails done. I even left a 40$ tip because they did such a good job. Thought I found my nail place until they double charged me. The bank ended up fixing it, thank goodness for that because they sure changed their service towards me when I came back a second time to fix it. I tried to tell one of the workers...Hanna that it was fixed, and she cut me off and said BYE! Very rude Hanna. I won't be going back there. So BYE . Bring cash guys. read more

I was living a nightmare when I was getting my nails done today. I waited and was being patient not to say anything but when I saw my nails were looking like bubbles and thick. I had to say something. I said no these nails are too thick. So rapidly she tried to fix the dipping powder was not on point. The lady was so rude she literally left and another young girl took over which, I am so glad she fixed my nails and added gel polish. I got lucky and saved last minute. I won't ever go back there. If you want to end up with bubble nails don't get your nails done here. read more

Worst time of my life. There was a guy there who decided to rip off my Acrylic nails with a nail clipper. I kept mentioning that it hurt. I asked him to use acetone he said no that will take longer. He smelled of cigarettes and his hands were filled cigarette residue. My hands smelled like cigarettes it was disgusting. Another lady took over after i told her i didn't want him. I wanted dip on my personal nail now they were torn apart. I ended up getting gel. I didn't like how my nails came out either. It's not what i wanted .. The girl who did my nails seemed annoyed at the situation. I'm sorry but no, no one should go thru pain when getting a manicure. Manicures are suppose to be relaxing and fun. I would suggest you save yourself some time and go elsewhere. If i could give it no stars i would. I didn't get to take a picture of how destroyed my nails looked but just picture yourself removing your acrylics by biting them off ... that's what it looked like. read more

i don't usually right reviews, but i've never had any pedicure gel issues at any other salon BUT here, i got a pedicure with a plain black color towards the afternoon the next day i realized that the whole nail polish rubbed off, they fixed it for free so thank you for that but just 3 days later there's already another polished toe that's already peeling offf :/ not the experience i wanted from here :( read more

I was in town on vacation with my family and needed a pedicure close to where I was staying... the experience at Happiness Nails was all positive... they were able to take me as a walk in and did an excellent job! Convenient location in the shopping center with Vallarta market means I will be back when in town and need my feet cared for. read more

I usually never get my nails done bc I never end up liking them. I had a gift certificate that was about to expire so I decided to go in. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Hanna (I think is her name). Right away I was seated and she got to work and let me tell you, her work is amazing! She works fast but with care and precision . I've never left a nail salon 100% satisfied but this time I got exactly what I had asked for!!I think I'll actually be returning! So I had a terrible experience here about 3 years ago. Tim, the previous owner was awful. A couple of months ago, I got reached out to on yelp (after my previous review) by Hana, the new owner asking me to try her again. Today, I went in and I'm so glad I did! Hana, Abby and the rest of her new team are fantastic. They are so warm and kind and the atmosphere here is definitely different since the Toxic Tim is gone. I will definitely be coming back here. Go see Nina or Hana. They do a great job. Nice quality and great prices. Nina offered colored powder which I new nothing about. I like trying new things and am thrilled. No chipping, consistently looks clean and polished and many compliments received by my coworkers. And... they are open on Sunday! read more

It started off well, aside from the girl doing mine (her cart said Choi but idk if that's who she was) but instantly she was ridiculing me and my short toe nails. I hadn't had a pedicure in well over a year, for health reasons mostly, and also because I wear work shoes and am on my feet all day working with children, so I just don't feel the need to get expensive pedicures all the time. She and the older lady doing my daughter's pedicure complimented my daughter right away about her toes and nail length and how pretty she is and how long her toe nails are, and then they would sit and laugh to each other and speak Vietnamese and make the small gesture and laugh saying how mine are short, not even trying to hide it or be discreet. They did this at least twice that I noticed. Then she (Choi? The girl doing my pedicure) asked me after the second time of them making the short nail gesture with their fingers and laughing and speaking in Vietnamese, she asks me "Does she look like her dad?" My daughter is very thin and petite. I am overweight. Like. What?! I was so highly offended. We were both gagged we didn't know what to say except laugh nervously and say that she's a good mixture of the both of us. When I say I'm going through hell, health issues has been one of them and she doesn't even use her brain and think, she just sat there and judged and laughed with her associate. I've come here so many times for a couple of years when I was getting my nails and toes done regularly. I always told people to come here if they asked for a nice nail place to go to, especially when I had people from out of town when I would do Uber. And I have never not given a tip. I am a very generous tipper. I gave them ZERO tip. Why would I give a tip to two disrespectful and rude women who laughed in my face and hurt my feelings for absolutely NO effing reason? I bought the $65 lemongrass delux spa pedicure for both my daughter and I, and that's how I get treated? I will absolutely never go here again and I'll tell everyone who asks for a recommendation that if they want to be blatantly disrespected and laughed at and mocked, then sure they can come here. I had to force myself not to cry on the spa chair for the remainder of the pedicure, I couldn't even enjoy the rest of it and it ruined my entire evening. I got home and cried and cried because I finally got a pedicure done for the first time in well over a year, and I got embarrassed and disrespected like that in front of my daughter and other clients, who kept looking at us every time those women said something mean and rude to me. If this review were only about the technicians, it would be much higher. Unfortunately, the ongoing issue is scheduling and management. I always call ahead to book an appointment, but when I arrive there's often an excuse as to why I can't be seen on time. I'm frequently asked to wait an extra 20-30 minutes sitting in a chair, even though I had a confirmed appointment. It feels like the salon is consistently overbooked and understaffed. I don't think the staff is at fault they're clearly doing their best--but as a client, it's frustrating when time isn't respected. When you schedule an appointment, you expect to be seen close to that time, especially when you plan your day around it. I'm sharing this in hopes that management takes a closer look at how appointments are handled, because the team here really is great. Better scheduling would make a big difference.

Instead of simply adjusting them, she responded, "Why are you asking me this now?" in a rude tone and threw her tools into her cart because she was upset. She became visibly irritated and said, "This is what you asked for," then continued painting with the color I had just said I didn't want, even after I repeated that I wanted to change it. I thought "it can't be that bad" so I accepted the guy was gonna put the piercing without sanatizing it (I had to ask n he was like "oh yeah yeah I got you") then he used like a car/electric tool to twist the piercing open..the inside tissue of my nose piercing was already closed (Ive had my piercing for years just took it off for 2 weeks) he brings out a needle like the ones you use to put clothing pieces together had me thinking "how many ppl does he used that same needle on" . Then he tries putting the piercing,it kept hurting so I kept saying "no leave it like that I'll do it on my own" as I kept tearing up. He proceeds to not listen until he puts the piercing in(forcing the piercing while I'm in pain continually saying no) and he brings back the tool again and twistes my piercing "back in place". Honestly all I'm hoping is I get no infection and pain goes away because this had never happened to me. Avoid this from happening because apparently a "no" is a yes to them‍ and there was someone there "learning" I hope that guy doesn't follow the same procedures this guy did. I am in terrible pain can't even take the piercing off besides that this caused emotional distress for me because I didn't wanna get hurt by pulling back when I kept saying no, felt useless.

If you look at the piercing where he initially started before said twitch you will see that he already placed the piercing far too low. I got a lobe and septum. He never counted down nor did he talk to me before or after the piercing and I believe he used the same needle. I received NO care sheet or instructions on how to take care of my piercing. The whole experience was god awful. When I politely asked if it was supposed to be that low him and his wife said yes. After feeling like I fucked up my whole face in the car and crying I built the courage to kindly and discreetly inform them of this. They tell him that "I don't like it" and he says, "Well if she doesn't like it she can take it out." He was obviously very upset. mind you, during the piercing, he made me extremely uncomfortable and when I tried to hold my cousins hand he gave me no warning or time to. He yelled at me while holding the needle to my nose while I was fighting him that I'm not ready and I need to hold my cousins hand, he protests "No, No, No! You're not gonna hold her hand. No you're gonna mess me up!! Stop moving, I need you straight. No no no no holding nothing no" mind you I have a video of me sitting straight only moving my hand to get some support. I don't understand why somebody would continue to pierce my flesh with a needle in these conditions. or why he was rushing to do this. He made me extremely uncomfortable. So the ladies prep a chair to TAKE OUT MY FRESHLY PIERCED SEPTUM. IF YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL THEN YOU KNOW PIERCING 101 YOU NEVER TAKE A FRESHLY PIERCED PIERCING OUT. IT CAN CAUSE IRRUPT AND IRRATIONAL BLEEDING. He obviously had no idea what he was doing and his wife began to give me attitude because I said I wanted a refund at this point. (I still hadn't spoke to him directly he had his back turned to me.) His wife stands by his side (good for her, go down with your husband queen) saying they've done this for years. I could not believe their reaction to my complaint. She was smiling in my face repeating their idiotic solution to my problem which again i was "If you don't like it take it out we've been doing this for years." "It's not that I don't like it you guys messed up my face and now you're trying to do more damage when all I'm asking for is a refund. You can't take out a piercing so obviously you haven't been doing this for that long or he is not professional." "He's right there if you wanna tell him he's bad" she said that with a condescending face as if to strike fear in me. I turned to him and had pretty much the same argument with him except he gave me my refund and turned extremely pissy. I'm honestly surprised he didn't piss himself the way his neck vein came out. Overall terrible experience. I feel bad for the other people that have to work with this toxic couple. They obviously have a terrible relationship and are placing the weight of their troubles on their business. I should have been much more upset at these imbeciles for fucking up my face. There was a girl there who did my friends piercing before mine even though I arrived before her and I wish I had gotten her. Maybe if they weren't trying to rush through and had common sense they'd leave the job to the professionals. I've had acrylic nails for 31 years & hands down (so to speak) Tim does the very best job I've ever had--which is really saying something! His wife Tina also does a fantastic pedicure & sweet designs. I was out of town once for 6 weeks & not a single nail broke--a minor miracle & a decisive difference from all other salons I've been to over the years. The atmosphere is inviting & friendly as well as very hygienic. I highly recommend them & have brought along several friends, including one who now drives 70 miles to have her gel nails done here; I've even told complete strangers about this business. First off the place seems ok a little lacking on the decor. I tried to tell her I wanted my nails sharp like stilleto style and she said I know and still didn't file them to a point. She filed my nail down to my skin on one side and it's totally crooked. She ruined my nail and now I'll probably have to wait til it grows out to have a decent looking nail. the polish is uneven and she missed a spot on the side and I had to ask her to paint it. If you are in need of some TLC after a long week of work this is the place to be! you can relax in the massage chairs while getting your nails done and it feels like heaven! the staff is amazing; Tim (THE OWNER) is by far the best guy in town. the customer service is outstanding, everyone is so friendly and inviting, they make you feel like you are at home. I look forward to going there every three weeks (I would go every Friday if I could) read more

Tim is the best manicurist ever says my roommate. I'm in boots all week and I go for pedicures and everyone makes me feel comfortable, they offer to change the channel, offered me a phone charger when my battery was low. Love this place read more
