Made an appointment for a gel pedicure and nail fill. I instantly regretted it when I had to ask the older gentleman who was doing my pedicure to remove my cuticles, clean under the nails and explain to him to remove an ingrown nail which he clearly did not understand. I asked the younger gentleman who was working on another client if he could please translate and explain to which he replied "He understands" so then why did I have to ask and repeat myself multiple times? He never removed the ingrown nail because he didn't understand and filed my skin because he was being rough while filing my nails. I grew frustrated and decided to just skip getting my nails done and will not ever come back here. I can almost guarantee the gentleman who did my pedicure is not licensed either. read more

I got a pedicure 6/19/19 & got cut pretty good. A good chunk of skin was removed from side of my nail, not sure why because I had zero issues before this & get pedicures regularly so my feet are always well taken care of. The technician then used her finger nails to attempt to stop the bleeding after cutting me. This cut is now infected has now cost me $$ in 2 Dr appts, 3 different antibiotics, & so far 2 days of missed work. Had to have it cut further into at Dr office yesterday so it could drain better. **Updated Review** I had to reconsider my previous review and update it to one star. The eyebrow lady at this place needs to go! I should have taken the good old, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me" into account. Well, shame on me that I gave this place a second chance to do my eyebrows. The lady was grumpy and literally took half of my eyebrow off. I had to walk out that place ASAP before I said some very not so nice things to her. Such horrible, horrible service.** I checked out Tony's salon after I had seen so many reviews and recommendations on Next-door.com. The first time I walked in, I just went for eyebrows and told them I would return the following day for a mani/pedi. As promised I returned the following day and I received stellar service. Since my initial visit to Tony's Salon they have become my regular salon for mani/pedi. I did get my eyebrows waxed a second time and the very nice lady took a little too much off my eyebrow. Luckily, I can easily mask it with some make up but none, the less, my eyebrow was still noticeably off. If it had not been for that one incident I would give Tony's a five star. This rating is actually a 2 1/2 star. Not too sure why this place was rated so high in the first place. I took my wife here to get a mani and pedi. While the quality of the work performed was satisfactory, we had to give them minus 1-star for uncleanliness when cleaning out the the fingers and dry skin well. In addition, it must have been an off day but their customer relations was horrendous. She was greeted very coldly, her manicurist rolled his eyes when she talked about what nail color to be done (just gel polish). The pedicurist was their saving grace and did an amazing job and presented herself as very friendly. For their customer service, minus 1.5 stars. i originally gave glowing reviews to this nail salon. i have had nothing but problems with my dip nails. the set i had previously at a different salon stayed on for 1 month under very harsh conditions (gardening, building repairs etc.). these did not even last a week. i have now had two repairs on five different nails and they are still breaking and flaking off. just yesterday one of the repaired nails has cracked again. i have not been doing anything more strenuous than making beds and getting dressed so i know that i am not to blame. i just want them off. never again. read more

I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back to see if they would fix them. My wife, daughter, and I walked in for pedicures 40 minutes before closing with no appointment...everyone welcomed us and nobody seemed put off by the late arrival. Jackie sat me in the pedi chair and said "you relax now...I will do my thing." And she did. She took her time and did meticulous work...and then came the hot stones! HELLO!!! Hot stones? #Amazing!! I had quite an awful experience here this past week. I went in and was given the card showing what I would like done and I pointed to a $30 option that involved a callous remover and a salt scrub. And being as the technician did nothing for my heel calluses I did not question him when he was putting wax on my heels as for all I knew this was part of their protocol. I have never been to this nail salon before.I noticed that check out I was being charged $40 instead of 30 so I question this with the cashier lady, who is not my technician. She told me that the gentleman doing my nails discussed it with another lady and that the lady confirmed I had asked for the $40 option. Well this was a blatant lie as no one was involved in my picking of choices process. I was given the pamphlet picked my choice and gave it back that was it. After I tell her this she shoots back Telling me as a customer it was my job to tell him to stop even though I did not ask for that service. You've got to be kidding me! She then reluctantly changes the price from $40-$30 saying that "all the time all you customers are liars!". Well I will tell you I have never lied about a service I have requested in a salon never! But what I can tell you is that I will never enter this establishment ever again.
