BAD/RUDE customer service. Here on vacation with my 6 year old daughter as I'm 6 and a half months pregnant. This might be our last trip before the baby arrives. So my daughter wanted to get her nails and toes painted. Just a way for us to pamper ourselves during our trip.... When I asked the nail tech about painting my daughters nails... he very rudely said, "I'm busy doing paper work". Even my daughter was shocked to hear his response. I am so disappointed. I came in saturday and had one of the ladies do my nails. Vibe I got was kinda weird, I felt very unwelcome. She started putting the nail tips and she messed up on one because she was rushing so she had to redo them. When she finished, to get the shape you have to trim the length of the tips, SHE WAS USING HAIR SHEARS. I was poked and the whole time I was riddled with anxiety because she was so close to my skin and fingers fearing she will cut me. Showed her what I wanted and got the opposite. She wanted to do acrylics on me when I asked for dip. She ended doing a dip on me grabbed the color. She started doing my nails did 2 dip colors at this point its been 30 mins. She was putting on another color thinking to myself that would be the color I want. Wrong. Everything was set she asked another person to file my hands and they messed that up too. The whole time they were trying to convince me that pink is a natural color of the nail and its what I asked for. She finished with the set and did a massage on me. She put lotion all over me with the dip powder with it because she wiped her hand with the same towel she used for the service so I have powder and sticky lotion all over my arms. It felt so gross I had to shower to get rid of it. I left and paid but I was sitting in my car and was so disappointed and horrified that I had to go back and let them know that this is not the service I expected. I have cuts, my nails are bumpy and some are thin some are thick and its the completely wrong color too. They gave me a full refund(they actually asked me if it was okay if they only refund me 50% of what I paid. I said no because I was 100% unhappy) but I'm stuck with them and my fingers hurt from the cuts. If you choose to go here please be aware..hopefully you have a better experience that I did. read more

Was in the area for a bachelorette weekend and decided to get my nails done before the events. Requested just regular polish since I'm not allowed to have gel polish for work. The lady doing my nails seemed nice at first, but she was obviously annoyed when I didn't like how the color I chose looked on me and requested a different color instead. She's only applied it to my pinky nail, so it's not like she had to do my whole hand again. Work seemed rushed and later on I realized it wasn't even applied properly! You can see the layers and how uneven they are. I could've save myself some money by just buying a bottle at the store and doing it myself. read more

The manicurist only used only electric drills to remove gel and ended up digging into skin on 4 nails. They are now inflamed and red. The lengths are all different and shape off. Perhaps it was just the male manicurist that saw me but I would not go back. Salon did seem clean and it was a quiet space but not a nail spa. read more

I finally found a great nail salon in my new home here in the desert! Tony at Lily's Nails did a fantastic gel manicure for me today. First of all, there was availability when I called, which is GREAT. I had called two other nail salons in the area and they were all booked. Secondly, when I arrived they seated me right away and actually kept my appointment. This is rare... typically when I make a nail appointment, it feels like it was lost or ignored because I have to wait. NOT at this nail salon! Thirdly, it's very clean, neat, pretty, peaceful, and calm inside. The best part was definitely the manicure though. My nails look so clean, polished, and pretty! I love it! Plus, it did not take a long time so I managed to get back to work during my lunch break on time. Oh! And they also have an ATM machine inside that does not charge you fees! Thus, you can easily get cash out to pay without incurring extra fees. First time I have seen that! They have tons of colors to choose from and no one tried to up-sell or up-charge me for my service. In other words, I said I wanted a gel manicure and no one tried to convince me to do something more expensive instead. I love my beautiful red sparkly clean polished hands and the price was totally reasonable! $35 bucks! WOW! Of course I gave tip so I paid more, but WOW... this price beats every other place I have tried in La Quinta, Palm Desert, and Indian Wells. I will definitely be coming here for all of my mani/pedi needs. :) read more

I popped in for a basic manicure and an hour later a total stranger at Sprouts nearby asked me who did my manicure. That good! This was Essie Mademoiselle - not gel - and yet 10 days later not one chip - and that's after packing, flights through three airports and unpacking. Unfortunately I received a chemical burn on the bottom of my foot and the nail tech, Frankie or Freddy, didn't say anything. It wasn't until I was leaving that I noticed the lesion on my foot. I asked for a band aid and was still charged full price for the pedicure. The message and scrub was even skipped because the tech obviously noticed but ignored. I also asked for matching fingers and toes and that didn't happen. I wish accountability was held among those working here to inform clients of their own mistake, especially one causing injury. Not sanitary. Lady didn't use sanitizer tools I saw her just roll her cart from another one to me and used the same clippers and everything. She didn't use gloves. The water was COLD and looked dirty. I got a gel pedicure, she barely cut or shaped my nails she didn't do anything to my cuticles when she applied the polish I had to have my feet on a wet towel.
