I needed to find a new nail salon due to poor experience in other salons in the area. Palm Nails had a lot of positive reviews on Yelp so I gave them a try and I am so glad I did! Cindy did my nails and Autumn did my toes. Both did an amazing job! Listened to what I like and my nails have never looked so pretty! She did exactly what I wanted. My toes are stunning also! I am a happy girl! I will absolutely be back! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a good sign when they know each customer that walks in. I had a Mani Pedi yesterday with Howard. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Howard was absolutely excellent and I would highly recommend him.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also, what I want to say that when I was there, an elderly man came in, got in the pedicure chair and was clearly very upset. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff were amazingly sympathetic and totally took care of him. I loved tge nail girl...BUT the owners are rude and treat the nail girls badly..[[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked if the girl would mind calling me for my appointment for next month but she said she was not allowed to call the clients.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The two men owners seem to slave drive the workers. And one day while on the phone with one he was extremely rude to me due to asking him repeat himself. Even though I explained I am hard if hearing he was still rude. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great experience here today! Came in for a gel manicure and was able to get seen immediately.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The lovely woman who did my nails was efficient, careful and very kind. She finished very quickly which I value -- I don't like doing my nails for hours. She cleaned up my nails really well and made them absolutely beautiful again! This is my absolute very favorite nail salon, in fact it's my only nail salon Bin and Jane treat you like family. Howard and Autumn give the best pedicures and Cindy does great nail designs and ombré nails. The music is always going and something good on the TV. Don't hesitate to give them a try. Call and make an appointment, as they are usually too busy for walk-ins. My daughter is away at college, but will only have her nails done when she comes home. After reading these reviews, I know now WHY I ended up contracting a severe Toenail Fungus on both feet.They reuse their tools without sterilizing them in between clients. They were not properly cleaning their pedicure basins. Everyone uses the same gel polish bottles on the walls which causes cross contamination. They didn't use disposable basin covers back then. They are too aggressive with their dremel/burr tool and scrape surrounding cuticles Ouch! Also, they hate clients that return for "fixes" or re-dos. They will make you wait forever, ignore you waiting in the chair, and never call you to fix your problem. I waited over an hour and ended up walking out, never to return. I have spent hundreds of dollars trying everything to cure the toe fungus OVER THE LAST 3 YEARS... even $500 Lazer treatments. It just won't leave. SEE PHOTO. Don't take a chance! Walk away! read more

Palm Nails is my go to nail salon when in the desert. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ben, Jane, and Autumn take great care of my nails and pedicure.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Technician Ben gave me Gel X nail extensions which are amazing, followed by velvet gel polish, which made my nails sparkle. This Gel X service makes my nails look amazing. Technician Autumn followed with a gel pedicure that is super relaxing. The added massage chair made the perfect experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The technicians at Palm Nails are awesome.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] With Gel polish I don't have to wait for my nails to dry. This pains me to write this review, but I have to be totally honest. I've been coming here for a long time, maybe 10 years, but have only used Bin more recently as he's skilled in doing the dip polish. The truth is...he cuts the skin! His aggressive nail filing slices through the top layer of skin and literally makes it bleed. I would be sore for days! And then I would have to come home and file down the edges where he applied the product outside of the nail and onto the skin. Recently in June, he went on vacation for a couple weeks and I got to try a different nail tech. She was AMAZING!!! Not one single cut, and her work was beautiful. Not sloppy like Bin would do. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I mentioned to her how great she was and that she doesn't cut me, and word must have gotten back to Bin that I said so, because when he got back to work, he acted like he didn't know me and completely ignored me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I guess his ego may have gotten a little hurt. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But just like the other reviews...he can be nice and funny one minute, and then a total jerk the next minute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I gave him another chance because I wanted to be sure that my feelings were legit, and sure enough...he acted like he didn't know who I was when he answered the phone and not a single Thank You from Bin for spending $125 on my last visit here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cindy is wonderful and so are Autumn and Howard.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But sadly, I guess our friendship ends here and I'll find a new nail place. It's very unfortunate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I appreciate that last minute appointment availability. Business is very slow right now so there was time to get me in, but I guess he can afford to lose me, too, simply because of an ego problem.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Instead of getting mad, he should consider improving his manicurist skills. read more

1st time at Palm Nails. Was visiting the area and decided to visit based on the reviews. Really happy with the customer service and the experience! The owner was kind and humorous and made me feel welcome. Kevin was the gentleman who worked on my nails and he was kind and attentive. Kevin did a great job shaping my nails redoing my dip layer. This is a very nice and clean salon. Services are always top notch. Everyone is professional, talented, and the owner Ben has a great sense of humor. I visited one time, but I plan to visit again, and I suspect second visit would warrant more stars. On my visit, I was a walk in and was there at five minutes before opening on a Friday am. To my surprise they were already open and greeting customers. A gentleman who I presumed to be the owner greeted me, and though I was a walk in, seated me right away. I had a short wait and a man came to do my mani/pedi. He was nice enough, and got to work. While I am sitting there, i notice the owner is greeting customers coming in by their first names, and/or they are greeting him, so I assume they are regulars with standing appointments which is great. The place is clean, the people working there are friendly and smiling (except for my guy - for one, he was masked, and for another, he just seemed like an older guy not really interested in chit chat or small talk or whatever which is fine with me). The only reason I gave a three star is because my pedicure and manicure were actually poor - just sloppy polish job - some on cuticles, some streaked. To be honest, it looked as though I painted them myself. I appreciate that they seated me as a walk in right away, that the place was clean and friendly, and I see images from other reviewers with perfect looking nails, so yes I would give them another try. read more

I'm not usually one to write reviews.. i'm also not usually one to speak but, but i've been budgeting and not treating myself to getting my nails done often so I was clear about what I wanted. I requested Bin I've had him before and had a pretty good experience. Told Bin I wanted a gel set, he proceeded to apply dip on my nails without asking. I told him that was fine after he already had took the grinding tool to my nails so it was basically too late. The colors painted on the plastic are NOT accurate to the dip colors. Had he explained the variation beforehand, maybe we would have been able to pick a color together that worked for me. Regardless of if I was being picky.. you were going to be paid and tipped accordingly. Also, it is not the clients job to know the colors aren't accurate. To get obviously frustrated and just walk away and leave your client sitting there confused, and then pass her off to someone else who was already equally frustrated with me is ridiculous. I tried to just remain calm and hope she would at least be patient enough to help a color picked and me get out of there. So then I pick another color, she applied one coat and explains it's going to be completely sheer.. once again nothing like the sample I was looking at. So at this point I asked if gel was still an option since they don't have the color I'm looking for. She seemed pissed at the question and said they had plenty of colors it was just me. I felt horribly uncomfortable asked to pay for the time they wasted which luckily they didn't take me up on and walked out with my nail beds and cuticles looking worse than when I came in. Won't ever be going back and I doubt they care about this review but if one customer sees this and isn't treated that way then i'm glad i'm posting it. read more

Very nice and friendly guy, appeared to be the owner, bit absolutely disgusting hygiene. Guy's hands, arms and shirt were covered with filings from his previous client. He didn't wash his hands between customers. He didn't wear a mask. (All other staff and customers did.) when asked if he and staff had been vaccinated he said that he preferred not say. He put the polish on uneven and too thick. After 30 min drying it smeared. I ended up having to remove all the polish as soon as I got home. Covid risk. Fungus risk. Waste of money. read more

I have the same issue as I bite my nails pretty bad, but the answer is yes. I have acrylics on for the same reason and I love them!

Do they do chrome nails?

They can do everything you want, just show them the sample designs. They do have chrome, holographic, ombré....

Does anyone have seen them sterilize the tools in person?

Actually they pull all of their products out of a sterilization package, they are just very non-chalant about it. They have done it every time they work in my toes.

Does this salon use nail forms in addition to nail tips?

I technically haven't asked but I have never witnessed them using them. Follow JM Nails 2 Inspire on Instagram for a local nail tech that uses forms.

What are the prices?

I would say higher than the two $. Had REGULAR mani/pedi and with tip was $60

SNS is the brand of dipping powder. They have different kinds of dipping powder that are better than SNS.

If this review were only about the technicians, it would be much higher. Unfortunately, the ongoing issue is scheduling and management. I always call ahead to book an appointment, but when I arrive there's often an excuse as to why I can't be seen on time. I'm frequently asked to wait an extra 20-30 minutes sitting in a chair, even though I had a confirmed appointment. It feels like the salon is consistently overbooked and understaffed. I don't think the staff is at fault they're clearly doing their best--but as a client, it's frustrating when time isn't respected. When you schedule an appointment, you expect to be seen close to that time, especially when you plan your day around it. I'm sharing this in hopes that management takes a closer look at how appointments are handled, because the team here really is great. Better scheduling would make a big difference.

As I waited for mom, I watched a number of regulars come in and that made me feel happy that they had repeat customers. Their clientele was varied from a 5 year old to my mom who is 89 year old. They were very respectful and responsive when she requested less pressure or too close of a toe clipping. They had magazines, two flat screen tvs, and a wing stop next door so I felt comfortable waiting. Although the whole process was around 30 min/45min?! They were all very sweet and checked on my mom multiple times. It was was over all a pleasant experience and my mom's nails looked great for her birthday party!

It started off well, aside from the girl doing mine (her cart said Choi but idk if that's who she was) but instantly she was ridiculing me and my short toe nails. I hadn't had a pedicure in well over a year, for health reasons mostly, and also because I wear work shoes and am on my feet all day working with children, so I just don't feel the need to get expensive pedicures all the time. She and the older lady doing my daughter's pedicure complimented my daughter right away about her toes and nail length and how pretty she is and how long her toe nails are, and then they would sit and laugh to each other and speak Vietnamese and make the small gesture and laugh saying how mine are short, not even trying to hide it or be discreet. They did this at least twice that I noticed. Then she (Choi? The girl doing my pedicure) asked me after the second time of them making the short nail gesture with their fingers and laughing and speaking in Vietnamese, she asks me "Does she look like her dad?" My daughter is very thin and petite. I am overweight. Like. What?! I was so highly offended. We were both gagged we didn't know what to say except laugh nervously and say that she's a good mixture of the both of us. When I say I'm going through hell, health issues has been one of them and she doesn't even use her brain and think, she just sat there and judged and laughed with her associate. I've come here so many times for a couple of years when I was getting my nails and toes done regularly. I always told people to come here if they asked for a nice nail place to go to, especially when I had people from out of town when I would do Uber. And I have never not given a tip. I am a very generous tipper. I gave them ZERO tip. Why would I give a tip to two disrespectful and rude women who laughed in my face and hurt my feelings for absolutely NO effing reason? I bought the $65 lemongrass delux spa pedicure for both my daughter and I, and that's how I get treated? I will absolutely never go here again and I'll tell everyone who asks for a recommendation that if they want to be blatantly disrespected and laughed at and mocked, then sure they can come here. I had to force myself not to cry on the spa chair for the remainder of the pedicure, I couldn't even enjoy the rest of it and it ruined my entire evening. I got home and cried and cried because I finally got a pedicure done for the first time in well over a year, and I got embarrassed and disrespected like that in front of my daughter and other clients, who kept looking at us every time those women said something mean and rude to me. I've never had this happen to me before. I always leave a nail salon feeling myself and this time I left in tears and now I want to cry every time I look at my toes. She criticized my toenail length right off the bat and my actual toes and toe shape. So if she's wondering why she and her little meangirl associate friend got zero tip, that's why. You lost my business and I will tell everyone else to stay away. Such a shame. I loved you guys. way to make someone going through hell in her personal life who only wanted to feel pretty and share some nice mommy/daughter time like shit and it was ruined by two rude, mean, arrogant, judgmental women. Disgusting honestly. I did not do a damn thing to deserve that treatment and I even tried laughing it off but they kept going and going and finally I just had to watch the World Cup game on my phone and stopped engaging in conversation because I just wanted to break down and cry

When she finished shaping them, I realized they were longer than I wanted, so I politely asked if she could cut them a little shorter. Instead of simply adjusting them, she responded, "Why are you asking me this now?" in a rude tone and threw her tools into her cart because she was upset. Later, I asked if she could paint one nail with a color I was deciding between so I could compare it. After seeing it, I politely asked if we could use a different color instead. She became visibly irritated and said, "This is what you asked for," then continued painting with the color I had just said I didn't want, even after I repeated that I wanted to change it. The entire experience made me feel uncomfortable, and I won't be returning.

When I asked the tech to please fix it, they blamed it on the fan next to me and said it must have made the polish run. And I got all this for the low low price of $50. I could have done my own nails better, avoided a cut on my ankle, and saved $50. Never again.
