There was a noticeable lack of courtesy including eye rolling, talking over patients, and no effort to create a welcoming or respectful environment. It felt very transactional, like patients were just numbers rather than people. Also, be aware that "appointments" for X-rays are misleading. Despite receiving multiple text confirmations, the process is actually first-come, first-served. The appointment system seems to function more as a heads-up for volume rather than a true scheduled time. We waited over an hour for a confirmed appointment before ultimately having to leave. With two kids scheduled, this was completely unreasonable and a significant waste of time. Overall, the experience was frustrating and poorly managed. At a minimum, this location would benefit from better communication, more respect for patients' time, and improved customer service at the front desk. The only positive thing - the price is reasonable.

I was then redirected to the Thunderbird location. Today, I received a call from your team indicating that the 7200 W. Bell Road location could now accommodate my exam using an alternative machine approved by my physician. The representative offered to see me earlier than my scheduled 1:00 p.m. appointment, as I have a subsequent commitment at 2:00 p.m. that requires me to depart no later than approximately 1:40 p.m. (accounting for the 20-minute travel time). It is now 1:15 p.m., and I have been informed that the equipment at this location is once again non-operational. I am concerned about the repeated delays and equipment issues that have prevented SimonMed from honoring my scheduled appointment times. Patient schedules are time-sensitive, and repeated rescheduling or redirection between locations creates significant hardship. I have not yet experienced a SimonMed appointment that has started on time. Please advise me on the immediate next steps to complete this ordered imaging study without further delay. I would prefer to resolve this matter promptly and courteously. However, if a timely solution cannot be provided, I will need to escalate this issue to senior leadership within the organization. From the moment I walked in, I felt something different. I was immediately greeted by Alma at the front desk. Even though she was assisting another patient, she acknowledged me right away. Her spirit seemed to beam through the glass. Her smile, her tone, and the way she welcomed me made me feel seen and valued within seconds of arriving. I was early for my appointment, so I sat in the lobby -- but I didn't wait long at all. Soon, I was called back by Jocelyn. Her voice was calming, gentle, and incredibly kind. She provided the garments I needed for my MRI and reassured me that they would be with me shortly. There was something so comforting in her presence. Then I was introduced to Abby, the MRI technologist. She, too, carried that same kind and gentle spirit. Abby and Jocelyn worked together to help my tiny self get positioned into the machine, treating me with patience and dignity every step of the way. Before beginning, Abby asked what kind of music I would like to listen to during the procedure. "Smooth jazz," I replied. Throughout the entire MRI, she communicated clearly with me, explaining what was happening and checking in along the way. While this wasn't my first MRI and my situation wasn't life-threatening, it was absolutely my first experience receiving such outstanding, compassionate service. If anyone out there feels anxious or hesitant about undergoing an MRI, I would encourage you to visit this location. The care, warmth, and professionalism of these three remarkable young women truly transformed what can often be a stressful experience into something peaceful and reassuring. While my assigned doctor is undoubtedly knowledgeable, his ability to connect with patients is truly above and beyond. I had trusted my previous pulmonologist for over a decade and was hesitant to change doctors, but I needed to do so for geographical reasons. He has made me feel completely comfortable being in his care, and he is not afraid to challenge the opinions of other doctors to ensure I am getting the most appropriate care. The staff is also incredibly kind and respectful. I particularly wanted to mention my experience today during my breathing test. The technician was able to compel me to quit vaping without being judgmental; in fact, I am not sure if that was even his specific intent, but that is exactly what is taking place. I feel very comfortable at their practice. While the office is busy and parking can sometimes be difficult, I believe that is simply a sign of a good practice that will likely outgrow its current space in the next couple of years. I am truly grateful to have found their office. Life is too short to trust doctors who appear less than human, and I would encourage anyone to give them team a chance.
