First, I was EARLY into my pregnancy. As a four pregnancy, something felt different and I wanted to see my baby to be sure. Little Buns and Nikki is not a medical establishment and she is not a medical professional, but she is a sweet, good hearted woman and at 7 weeks when not even a OB would see me early, Little Buns did. The boutique is beautiful. With super cute and unique baby wear, the lobby and room had snacks and toys for my toddlers. There is a big beautiful screen right in front of the bed to see your tiny baby wiggle. And I will love forever that Nikki was the one who got to show us that what I thought felt off, was twins. There were a lot of uneasy appts, lack of communication and we felt they didn't understand our timeline. We both understand this journey isn't a fast journey but my husband is an active duty military member and he was deploying for 12 mos. We started this journey a little over 1.5 years and the last office was just dragging their feet and we voiced our concerns since he was preparing to leave last December. I went back to my primary care dr on base and they referred us to Dr Craig. His office is a lot farther from us but to be honest it is 100% worth the drive. From the very first appt with dr Craig in person was so easy and he went into great detail of all the test we did that day and wrote out a timeline txt plan. I really appreciated Dr Craig taking his time and sitting in person with me. The last office, I never met the dr in person. I did not like that at all. We asked for a sit down in person and was told those are phone appts. We did not like that. We unfortunately don't have a little baby running around yet but Dr Craig and his office have been so accommodating with our situation and have been very informative. We are hoping this next round of IUI will stick but overall we have really enjoyed our experience with the staff thus far. I highly recommend!

We are incredibly grateful and highly recommend Dr. Derman to anyone seeking fertility care. I can't wait for our second transfer. The office staff and communication were generally good, though sometimes you have to advocate for yourself to receive responses. The billing department isn't my favorite, as there were issues with incorrect coding and being told I owed balances, but overall I still enjoyed my experience.

I apologize for the length of this review, but want to share my experience with New Direction. Even…read morethough my treatment time with them was short, sadly I did not have the experience that I had hoped for. I was referred by my OB/GYN for help with better management of my PCOS symptoms and the hope to get to a place where I could conceive naturally, or with minimal help/treatment. My first consultation with Dr. Derman was okay. He was professional, and initially made me feel heard. I was given two options for helping my PCOS: 1) lose weight, possibly with a GLP1 from my PCP, to see if that helped with my PCOS and allowed me to conceive or 2) jump into ovulation induction medications to get pregnant ASAP. Ultimately I chose to go the GLP1 route through my PCP and put a hold on option 2. Dr. Derman prescribed me a birth control, as he wanted me to try to regulate my cycle and I needed to be on BC if I started taking a GLP1. I started having "breakthrough bleeding" on the pill, which I was expecting. However, the bleeding lasted for 75 days. While it wasn't heavy bleeding the entire time, it was enough to have to use my menstrual cup every day for those 75 days. I reached out to the clinic a few times during those 75 days to express concern and to ask "how long is too long?" Every time I got the same answer, to continue taking the pill and that the bleeding was to be expected; that there was no concern unless I was filling my menstrual cup within a couple of hours. I discussed this with my PCP, who helped me make the decision to change my birth control pill. I started a new pill, and the bleeding stopped within 10 days. It was clear that the birth control Dr. Derman put me on was not ideal for my body...but they didn't seem to care, even when I told them the constant bleeding was taking a physical and mental toll. I decided to no longer seek any care through New Direction. To me, it felt like my care was put on the back burner since I wasn't trying to actively get pregnant. It felt like I wasn't worth their time or effort, and it was very disheartening. Sadly, this ruined their reputation for me. If I couldn't count on them to listen to a concern about a birth control pill, it doesn't instill a lot of trust that they'll be the right providers for me should I need fertility treatment.

The staff here was very kind and helpful I also learned something new that I didn't learn about at MD Anderson so my experience here was a very positive experience and I also got a clean bill of health so I can honestly recommend this facility for mammograms it's a clean facility with an excellent staff.
