We decided on hiring a laundry service to help us stay on top of the laundry when we moved to North Hollywood. We both work full-time, and laundry is one of those things that, if you're not on top of it, can get out of control in no time. A friend suggested we check out Happy Bubbles. We've been using them now for a few months, and they're terrific! They pick up our laundry on Tuesday mornings and drop it off on Thursdays. The lady who shows up is cheerful and friendly, and the clothes always come back neatly folded and super clean. Strongly recommend this service to anyone in the area. Clean and easy to use machines. They're well lit at night time which is a huge plus. Their machines are all very clean and surprisingly haven't had many issues about leftover lint, hair, etc. When paying, they accept card (with the tap option if you know what I mean), or by cash. The doors are kept open for ventilation, but the patrons here don't care much about social distancing so that can be a bit hard here. Everyone wears masks though! read more

I rarely need to use a laundry mat, but I haven't been satisfied with my laundry facility at my apartments. I've never been to a more clean and fun laundry mat. They label their washers and dryers ( just for fun). We used big Bertha when we went because we had so many loads to do. That washer fits 6 loads for 7$! That's a steal! Even the two load washers are $3. And the dryers are 25cents but you'll need a least $1 to dry. Overall great value, the worker there was helpful, and the place was clean! read more

I just recently moved to the area and was in desperate need of finding a laundromat that took card, because of this whole coin shortage issue. I chose Happy Bubbles after reading recent reviews and honestly, I am so glad I did! They are located at a small plaza with a hit or miss parking. During covid, I feel like parking is a little bit easier though. It is very clean, not so spacious, but you can tell the staff keeps the area well kept and sanitized. There are seating benches inside and tables and chairs outside. There are also vending machines available and a quarter changer that was no able for use during the shortage obviously. The staff that helped me out was so kind. I didn't get her name but she worked on a Sunday afternoon and assisted me when I wrongfully put my detergent in the wrong output component of 4 of the washers (oops lol). She also helped me adjust the time length of the dryers so that I don't have to repeatedly swipe my card. Overall, I am highly satisfied and even without a coin shortage this is my new go-to laundry site! read more

This laundromat has card options for EVERY machine, enough said. Happy Bubbles is so far ahead of the times with being able to use a card at every machine in the laundromat. Especially right now with an apparent "coin shortage", this place was exactly what we needed. The space is relatively small but also was not too busy when we arrive at 4pm on a Sunday. There are various double and tripe load machines available in addition to two four load and one five load machine. Plenty of dryers line the walls. There are two vending machines for snacks and drinks, and one vending machine for laundry items. And WiFi! The space is very open and well ventilated and if there weren't standards for laundromats, there are now. read more

Don't use fluff and fold service to wash comforters! For years, we used the fluff and fold service to wash our comforters. One day last year, my husband went in to pick up our white queen size down comforter and red and brown quilt. We had brought them to them several times prior and they had always come out beautifully. This time, they decided to wash the two items together in the same load (a white comforter and a red quilt). The result? Our white comforter came out pink, PLUS a one of the squares ripped open and all feathers leaked out. The management decided to STAPLE the square shut with a desk stapler. They then had the Gaul to tell us the comforter came to them that way - stapled. Not only did they not offer to pay us to replace our comforter, they tried to CHARGE us for neglectfully destroying it. The attendant said we could call management, so we left a note for them to contact us immediately. After not hearing from them, we tried to call. When we called the manager was never there, or they didn't answer and the voicemail was full so we couldn't leave a message. Once a great service, now must be avoided. read more

I had to switch it up from my last laundry spot because they lost an expensive onesie. So of course I go on Yelp to find a new spot, and found this one. They did a really nice job on my clothes. They were cleaned very well and without all the dyes and crap that most places use. They also have great amenities that I've never seen at any other place. They're open 365 days a year, which is AWESOME. They take card, cash for F&F service and the machines take cards as well! They even have a lovely patio where you can chill while your dirty socks tumble around and power the monster dimension. Fluff service is $1.25 lb. Which is industry standard, and service closes at 11pm. That's bomb.... before I'd have to wait until Monday to get my clothes if I did a Saturday drop. They also give you a really dope laundry bag to put your laundry in. Then why only 4 stars? The wire hangers!!!!! (said in my best mommy dearest voice!) Because I know that's how you heard it. I HATE wire hangers. I requested just fold only... it was on the ticket, and on the printout. I get my laundry? 75% of it was on a damn hanger. Dear gawd no... I fux with you now Happy Bubbles, but imma need for you to read that ticket girl. I had half a mind to leave it there so they could fold it... but I didn't want to be THAT bitch. Before I moved out of town, they fixed essentially all of the problems that I ran into in the review I wrote. The e-mail system never really quite worked right and you do need to call to make sure your order is ready but essentially, it was always fairly priced, the clothes came back in great shape, orders were never late, and you could pay with a credit card so you're never messing around with trying to make sure you have just the right amount of cash. Staff is friendly; the main challenge with this store is its location--parking is always very, very, very difficult but this business isn't responsible for that. read more

Giving 2 stars is generous. I paid $50 for a comforter, 3 sheets, and 2 towels. When my clothes arrived it had no smell. No detergent or fabric softener smell even though I requested fabric softener. For the price I should've gotten back my laundry with clear indication it was cleaned. I ended up re washing it myself. A big waste of money. They only get 2 stars because I liked the option for pickup and drop off. But even then the lady asked if she could drop it off later than the scheduled time which was already for the next day. My apartment complex only has a couple of machines so every now and then I come to Happy Bubbles to get my larger sets of laundry done. I've been coming for a few years now. The staff is constantly sweeping floors and wiping down machines when needed and they couldn't be friendlier. I actually like that the dryers are only 25cents as I'm not forced to spend 2dollars on a smaller load, if the clothes are still a little damp I just throw in another quarter or 2. Really disappointed with the new help in the morning... they look so desperate to keep the floor clean. Mopping at the worst times, literally mopping your feet, are constantly asking you to move or getting in your way. I don't understand how you replace one good morning helper with two ladies who pass the time either talking to each other gossiping in Spanish and mopping the floor their whole shift. It's a shame this place doesn't enforce masks, we are in the middle of a pandemic and people like me, who have autoimmune diseases, rely on everyone wearing masks and being super clean so we can do things like go to the laundromat to wash clothes. I've been coming here for over a year and every time there is some asshat that doesn't want to wear a mask, I have to say something to the employee who just looks at me like i grew a third eye. Grow a back bone. I shouldn't have to be fighting your other customers. And you certainly shouldn't be taking their side and saying it's not that bad and I am over reacting. I will be looking for a a different place to take my business. If you don't care about the pandemic or people being safe, sure, go here, the facilities are nice and they have good music and the machines are well maintained and use credit card or a Happy Bubbles card or quarters. It's, of course, got all your laundry needs, is clean, has outdoor seating, wi-Fi, power outlet anti-added bonus, GREAT customer service! For example, I had one of my meal prep's with me and Maria one of the attendance was sweet enough to microwave it for me in her back break room. I stumbled upon this laundromat after needing to wash asap. I didn't want to deal with the crowd from my usual laundromat and I found this corner or heaven. It's literally in the corner of a plaza on the corner of Whitsett & Oxnard St. I mean with a name called Happy Bubbles how could you have a bad experience. There is plenty of parking in the plaza as well as street parking and it's free which is a plus! This is my third time coming here and I doubt I will go anywhere else. I've come during the week, on the weekends, during the day and at night and it's a normal busy but not to the point where you have to fight for a washer or dryer like most laundromats. My favorite time is to come before 9 am because I'm an early bird so I like to get my errands ran before most people wake up. They have the White normal washers for $2.50, the double load washers for $3.00, triple load washers for $4.00, one six load washer for $6.00, and four load washer for $5.00. I love how not only are the washers and dryers named like "Bertha" or "Mateo" verses numbered, but the laundry wheel baskets have cute name license plates. I appreciate the attention to detail when it comes to a business and this was definitely well thought out. The best part about this place is that you can pay with a card to wash and dry your clothes! If you do have cash though, they have two change machines in the front of the store. Or if you want to load a certain amount of washes to a member like a card you can earn free washes. That's pretty cool. There is also a street view outside patio with tables and chairs which is a cute touch as well. What I enjoy most is I can smell clean water that my clothes are actually getting washed in and enough water to actually get them clean. Most places try to rip you off and shorten the time on the wash and the amount of water. Well not here! I've even seen the on-site attendant cleaning the lint out the dryers. I can tell my business is appreciated and if I wouldn't even have to ask the owner if they too would wash their clothes here. I love it here and you will too! read more

Love that they take card here, it's the primary reason I tried this place. And there's so many little touches they make all around the place to make our day easier. Both dryers and washing machines take card and they each have little "human names" stickered onto them. Much quicker to remember your laundry is in Ashley, rather than "Hmm I think it was like the fifth one to the right?" They're nice here too! When one of the vending machines stopped working someone helped me right away and very kindly. It's nice to feel you're welcomed, even if it's just at a laundromat. Gotta point out the adorable detergent bouquets they have adorning the facility too. As well as the hand-drawn animations that act as store notices up on the walls. Love the creative, friendly feel of it Only caution I have is...do NOT come Sunday late afternoon if you have any sort of claustrophobia. The one time I tried coming in around that time it was dizzyingly crowded, with many people crammed closely together and bumping into each other constantly. Luckily it's not always like that. This place is five stars for a reason. I found Happy Bubbles because of Yelp and so glad that I did. My wife and I experienced a fire in our condo last weekend and we were absolutely devastated! And since we are also expecting twins, it's not like we can spend hours and hours doing laundry. Our priority was to get our condo cleaned and safe. I found Happy Bubbles on Yelp and decided to give them almost 100 lbs of smokey laundry. From the moment I stepped into the laundromat until the moment I received my clothes, the service was absolutely exceptional. Pablo greeted me with tons of energy, showed empathy over my situation, provided me with all the information I needed to know, and basically took my worries off my shoulders. I can't speak more highly of him... he is phenomenal. After we dropped off our laundry, they provided status updates by phone and let me know when it was ready to pick up. We picked up all our clothes today and they are PERFECT! Everything was categorized by clothing (blankets bundled separately, hang items on hangers, and clothes neatly folded) and presented in a sturdy bag with handles. Amazing. I NEVER say this on Yelp but I'm going to say it for the first time... here goes... I would've paid twice as much for what I received today. Please don't raise your rates and keep doing what you're doing Happy Bubbles. Your exceptional service, low competitive prices, and Pablo is what will keep me coming back for years. During the national coin shortage, it seemed impossible finding a laundromat that sold quarters or took credit cards. I found this laundromat and was more than impressed when I found that each machine accepted not only credit cards but also contactless payment such as Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. Every laundromat should be doing this by now! In addition, their laundromat is small, clean, offers fluff and fold, commercial size washing machines and dryers, has stocked vending machines with snacks and drinks, and change machines if you do need quarters. They have an additional vending machine that sells laundry supplies as well as single-use masks. Another perk of theirs is they offer every 10th wash free! This seems to be tracked by the credit card you use when you pay for each load. They have an option to purchase a laundry card from them too. This place is a little far for me to go to regularly but would happily make the extra drive to do my laundry here. They have a small patio outside as well to wait at! read more

My bf and I decided to start using laundromats since we have big loads and a small child. He loved coming here so I decided to come and give it a try. It's your typical laundromat and it's very clean and simple. First I arrived realizing I forgot detergent. I used their vending machines to purchase and beware - nothing is in English. So use your best judgement for what is what. Downside - I got charged $5 for product that didn't come out of the machine. I plan to call about that and see how I can be refunded or credited towards laundry. I noticed they do have cameras so the proof is there! Another downside - you can't use the bathroom. And you have to PAY to use the bathroom. It's a little ridiculous when you're already paying to use the laundry services that you have to pay to use a bathroom. I tried to put a quarter in and it didn't take. I could have sworn I saw someone use the restroom when I first walked in but I can't be sure. Anyway, a customer told me staff was coming in at 9 and could open it but I wouldn't have been there and why would I wait an hour when my laundry would be done in 30 minutes? It's pretty inconvenient and flawed on their end. This is why I give 4 stars rather than 5. Their machines do the job and didn't harm the fabric of my delicate jumpsuit so I was pleased with that! read more

You guys have an amazing employee! Now the laundromat. Located in a sketchy area but it's so busy with people and 2 other restaurants so it feels safe. Free wifi, machines sanitized after each use. Bathroom clean. Actual hand washing station. I love how they used old detergent bottles as vases for fake flowers throughout the place, very cute touch. They have an outside patio where we hung out in between loads. Best laundromat I've ever been to.
