I love this place! The staff is very friendly, the work is always done in a timely manner and they make sure to take care of your services as quickly as possible. It is also a convenient location for me since it is so close to where I live. The only recommendation I would have is a much bigger parking lot, but that is it. We were driving through the area and collided with a giant piece of metal on the freeway. It completely destroyed our bumper and engine splash shield, so we pulled into Happy Cars to see what they could do. I couldn't be happier we chose to go here, they were absolutely the nicest and most honest people I've ever met. We were very open about being desperate to get the car drivable ASAP (we had a 4 year old with us, and were very far from home). Instead of taking advantage of that fact to up-charge us or anything, these amazing people patched our car up in less than 15 minutes AND wouldn't even accept any payment. Unbelievably great people. And their patchup of our car held up perfectly for weeks until we could get the parts replaced. 15/10 would recommend. Oh also the owner's arm was injured and in a sling, but he still diagnosed the issue and patched up the car himself and still wouldn't accept payment. read more

Took my car in today because I had a wheel stud threaded badly! From a previous shop. The mechanic saved the bolt and instead of replacing the whole stud (like all shops do) he managed to save me original stud and save me half my money! Great and honest service! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! If I could give them a negative review I would!! I took my car into get four brand new tires. First they stripped my lug-nut. When I call them out on it they say they did not do it and offer me to pay $80 to fix what they messed up! then they mess up all of the car sensor's. My battery light was on, ABS light, fuel gauge and my windows would not roll up or down. The owner says "there is nothing I can do about it" Would not take accountability. I think some shady shit is going on here, they told me it's "cheaper" if I pay in cash... Save yourself money and time, and pay the extra money for a reputable place! read more

WOW! Can you say this PLACE is the worst place I have ever been too! My boyfriend and I were towing some stuff home from Turlock and got a flat tire on our trailer! We looked up places nearby and it brought us to Happy Cars Auto Care, which has a 4.5 starts so driving very slow to finally get there, we pulled up and the doors were open! YAY! Well don't get to excited, my boyfriend went up the owner I nicely to ask if he could help us out, and we would of course pay him. He was the RUDEST MAN EVER and would even help us out at all let alone just blew him off. Can you say TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We then drove 2 miles down the street risking it since it was flat, to BIG O TIRES, and they happily helped us out. As for HAPPY CARES AUTO CARE , they aren't very happy people. Aligned my truck wrong then told me to come in whenever to have it fixed - When I got there he told me I would need to wait two hours because he was busy... So I took it to Les Schwab, they put it up on the rack, found the problem, and fixed it in about 15 minutes! Then I went back to Happy Cars (happy my ass...) and demanded a refund over which I had to fight with the owner to get the right amount of money back. TERRIBLE BUSINESS! Recently I had him run a diagnostic, he was very attentive and dedicated to SHOWING me everything that was wrong with my car, then he wrote me out a quote and it's the cheapest I can find on this side of the Mississippi! I went there to mount my new wheels on the tires on my car. He didn't want to mount the tires on my new wheel because they were too small. What he wanted to do was put used tires on my wheels and keep my stock wheels and tires, mind you I had just bought the tires less then 2k on a 50k mile warranty tire. So I purchased the used tires and had them mounted on my wheels and was going to have my new tires and stock wheels put in the trunk. He showed me one used tire that he had just put on the wheel. A bridgestone tire, with good tread. So I was happy. He didn't have aftermarket lug nuts for my car or a key for the aftermarket lugs I had brought. So he didn't mount them on my car, he just put the wheels in the trunk and put my stock ones on. When I got home, I immediately noticed I had 3 matching tires and 1 random tire. The one random tire was the bridgestone he had showed me. The other 3 were Nexen tires (a good brand) but had less then 50% tread life. One of the nexen tires tread was flush with wear bars... So I'm back where I started. I RECOMMEND NOT BUYING USED TIRES HERE. read more

I went there because my car was making noises each time I turn my wheel right or left, they checked it, and told me that it was a cable from my sound system that was touching the tire , they charge me 10 dlls for nothing I took it to another tire shop they found out it was strut mounts. They are terrible. I had them change two of my tires.... later I had to go to Americas tire because my tires were sounding weird. They told me that whoever put my tires on put them on so loosely that they're surprised the didn't come off on the road while I was driving. Moral of the story pay the extra money and go to a reliable place instead of being cheap and letting some unlicensed people change your tires. read more

DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE. This guy charge me almost 600 for a ball joint job and alignment but the alignment was not done right he said he gave me 6 months warranty on the alignment and lifetime on the ball join. And after going back because the alignment was not done right he gave lots of dumb excuses he said i had alot of weight in my truck because i had 2 gallons of gas a weed wacker a toolbox and a hedge trimmer he said thats alot of weight for a 2500 diesel truck (seriusly) so i decided to go somewhere else. Was referred here for alignment by another car repair shop in town who said these were good local guys trained up at Les Schwab that started their own spot. Got 4 tires and supposedly an alignment. I couldn't tell the difference before vs. after. The tires are doing great and will come back again if need arises, as I prefer to support the local homegrown shops. read more

Good morning. Warning: I took my car to this shop,it had a warning light on stating electrical system not functioning. We look on the Internet and it said it could be the belt or alternator. I was pretty sick that day,,we waited for two hours and no one looked at it. So I told the guy I was sick and just could not be in the heat anymore ,,it was Saturday I knew I would not get it until mon or so. I called uber and went home.Cone mon they called and said it might be the battery and alternator,then I told him the battery was a year old and under warranty  ,so then they said they would call me back. A few days later he called said my wiring was chewed up,he had to rewire it to fix at that point I had no choice and said ok. Three weeks later he said he rewired it and it worked fine and a knew alternator and a modulator or something he also said he had to take to the dealer for something, $1324 later .picked up my car my car, and they had not changed the oil and filter or he could not remember,so i had to wait for an hour. I asked him about my Radio it was locked,he wrote a note telling me to call the dealer the dealer said this model does not lock,then I noticed my sun roof not working,the panel in the car,gas,mileage,heat,door does not lock  ,i called right away to tell them all of this,the owner talk to the mechanic. Three days later the mechanic called me back,I told him about the issues ,he stated to me how do WE KNOW THESE THINGS WORKED BEFORE U BROUGHT it IN, I said to him are u telling me I am lying,he said Oh no ,but we do not know those things where working so it is not our problem,he said he would give me an hour.  Well he can take his hour and shove it as he has no clue what he is doing, My rating for them is a big zero.they took me to the cleaners. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR/TRUCK HERE! Came in to get ball joints upper and lower done. Plus an aglinment. In the process was told two lowers were wrong parts so took them back and replaced them with the correct parts the same day. After sitting there forever because he told us the truck would be done at 6:30pm came to us and said well you need brakes and rotors. Note we already had those ordered. He said he could keep the truck until the parts came in. Received the parts Wednesday at 11 and had them delivered to him by 11:45am. He told my husband I gave him the parts late so he couldn't finish the truck that day. My husband calls Thursday morning he said he'd get the truck up on the lift 8am and have it finished by 12. 12 rolls around not finished. Husband calls again at 3. The guy tells him it won't be done till 5:30-6. We get here at 5:45 and the truck is still taken apart and it hasn't been touched. Here right now at 7:02 and the truck still isn't done. He told us we got the wrong parts again which is BS because he opened both the boxes the day prior and he's we were good and he dropped one of the ball joints and left a scuff in it that's the one reason I remembered. Poor customer service!! Definitely won't be taking our truck here again! BEWARE! read more

For having the name " happy cars auto car" they sure cause you A LOT of problems. This place should be called "Lousy Cars Auto Care". I took my car here to have a new tire put on and immediately after leaving my car kept telling me I needed air in my tire. It's only been a month and I took my car to All American Tires and found out that they had put on a TWELVE YEAR OLD TIRE. Not only did they risk mine and my unborn child's life by doing this, the women who literally jacked up the vehicle also dented the plastic under my car by placing the jack in the wrong spot, which also caused the rested weight to slightly dent my driver door. What a jack ass right? What's terrible is that they don't want to be liable for the damage either, which is a $900 damage that THEY should be paying! I couldn't even get the names and info of the people who worked on my car because they were ILLEGALS. I can't believe the owner would let non licensed mechanics work on my car and cause so much inconvenience. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! This place did not take into consideration that I am pregnant and gave me a tire that could've potentially popped on me while driving and caused me to get into an accident. This place SHOULD NOT be in business and the owner should definitely not have a business license letting such CRAP go on there. read more
