I mean a Chinese Buffet is usually good if you're pre gaming for beer, drunk, or have a hangover. In our case it was good because we had nowhere else to go on our way back from New York. Not expecting culinary expertise so the subpar, lukewarm food served its purpose but 12 bucks for the buffet is a bit extreme for only 1 fortune cookie per person. Passing through town to visit the wonderful Ark Encounter. Did the drive through at The Happy Dragon. Some of the best Sesame Chicken I've ever had. Great egg rolls and hot sour soup. Very courteous and helpful customer service. Highly recommend! read more

I am a fan. I really like the owners who always seem to be there. The servers keep your table clean and your drink filled. They are very good at this. The selection of food is pretty good. The fried crab rangoons have always been my favorite. They have been different the last two visits. Not sure why they are different - maybe different chef - I'll have to ask. The music is they play is classic country - not my personal taste, but somehow it fits the little local town - so I'm ok with that. read more

Everything is new! New furniture. New pictures. New setup. New paint. Great family. Good price. Good food. It's the best Chinese food on The Ridge (ok. It's the only Chinese food here). I absolutely love this place. It's perfect just the way it is. It's not overly large but comfortable. I think some of the reviews have lost sight of the bigger picture. Happy Dragon offers good food in a clean atmosphere at a reasonable price. The owners are always present and are wonderful people. I have watched their children grow from tots to teens. They are happy, honest, respectful and proud of the family business. I wish them many years of happiness in Dry Ridge and would be very sad if they left. read more

Family owned for nearly 30 years, and my family has been going for nearly that long. We love the food here, and, we love the staff. They are great people - friendly, and keep a good establishment. We can't tell you how happy we are to have them in our Grant County, as neighbors and business owners. Expect your staple Chinese Cuisine and some "American" options to boot. Found Happy Dragon by accident (traveling 75N). Almost didn't stop because of other reviews but thought, screw it. I'm so glad we did!! It is a small restaurant but plenty of places to sit and the staff was friendly. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The food areas were well maintained, well stocked and clean. I will say the crab rangoon was more cream cheese and chive than crab, think Panda Express, but everything else was on point. Honestly, I liked the flavor a bit better than other places, especially the noodles! Not a fan of the texture of the chicken on a stick but that's just me, I have texture issues with food. Total was about 20$ for 2 people on a Sunday (lunch); to me, it's about average pricing but I'm from a small town in Indiana. I hope others find Happy Dragon and enjoy the food as much as we did! Parking is kind of a nightmare but it doesn't affect the food. 4 star rating because they offered the same foods as every other Chinese buffet; I'd like to see them offer something unique to their area and stand out. read more

It was a okay place. Fresh food, friendly staff, and reasonable price (even for dinner with crab legs). I tried this place while I was visiting the Ark Encounter. This is a great Chinese buffet for Grant County. They have good food but a smaller selection. Definitely worth the value at the lunch price. The holiday buffets i.e. Mothers Day, Easter, ETC. are a little pricier. They do have a crab leg night too. Call ahead and ask. Currently they serve Pepsi which isn't my drink choice.
