China Star had been one of our favourite Asian restaurants for years. We got some takeaway on this occasion and it was just as delicious as ever. Their eggrolls continue to be the greatest I've ever had and when you add in the spicy mustard it makes it out of this world. Do use that mustard with care because it is really powerful. For my main course I got Curry Shrimp which was really tasty as well. Great flavour and plenty of shrimp in there to make it delicious. The service was really good as everything in the bad was accurate and was hot even after I drove home. A great choice rather you eat in or take it home. read more

Dined in the first time and found the food good but service not. Seemed rushed and inconvenienced. Then waited about 2 months later and did carryout. Disappointed with greeting and sales transaction, always wanting tips added too. A smile or nice welcome may warrant a tip, but nothing. The veggies were slim, portions small & food dried out. Only complaint is that I clicked the option and paid +$2 for extra chicken with my sweet n sour chicken. It felt like I paid +$2 for the same size as the regular. All and all, service was timely. Order was ready when I came to pick up. Food was good, no complaints. read more

Annie is my favorite server and always very pleasant and kind. I'm not sure about beef but all of the chicken entrees have good quality chicken. I have yet to find hot and sour soup I love as much as China Star's where I currently live, so it is a must order when I am in town. Decided to try this place based on some good reviews via DoorDash. The hot and sour soup was the BEST I ever had it was spicy enough to make my nose start running! It was amazing! The egg roll and crab Rangoon was very delicious as well! The General Tos was not good AT ALL!! Small portions for dinner I was very shocked 8 pieces!! The food I got from China Star was completely bland and my order was incorrect. I ordered Orange Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken, and both were disappointing. The Orange Chicken was pictured to have a breaded crust (as it's usually supposed to have), and was not made properly, and I don't know what I received, but the other order was not Teriyaki Chicken. The noodles that came with this order were also bland and overcooked. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again. It's not worth it. read more

This has to be the worst Chinese food ever. I was dining in and saw bugs in the back counter where they have their drinks set up. I mentioned it to waitress and she was concerned. There are definitely bugs in the food. Not sure how this place passed an inspection but I called county heath department as it needs to be investigated. I've always come in around lunch time and I've never been disappointed. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. For the price I believe the food quality is pretty good. Everything seems fairly fresh and is always cooked properly. ALSO, as a bonus they have Barq's Red Cream Soda on fountain which is a childhood favorite of mine that I don't see that often. Here we have a nice small Chinese restaurant that uses high quality fresh ingredients! Friendly staff and a clean dinning area. I ordered the cashew chicken and when the food came it looked so good that I dove In to eat and forgot to take a photo. How ever the crab rangoon's left a lot to be desired. My family gets take out Chinese from here often. Its nothing fancy, just your average strip mall Chinese mom and pop restaurant. But for us, that's perfect. The food's always been hot and ready in 15 minutes or less. The owners are quiet, but friendly. My husband loves the curry chicken.
