We visited for the first time on Christmas Eve and we both were sick 6 hours after exactly with all the same symptoms. We had veg fried rice and chicken on a stick. Based on older reviews this place may have been good at one time, but it doesn't look like the pictures anymore. Based on everything I read regarding food poisoning, we definitely had it! Will never go back. I gave it 1 star because Yelp required it, otherwise 0 stars obviously. read more

This was out takeout dinner from our local Chinese food restaurant. As I've covered in earlier reviews they have all of the Chinese favourites and from what I've had; do them all very well. They're still only doing carryout so keep that in mind. I tried the Seafood Hunan which is a semi-spicy dark sauce mixed with crab, shrimp, lobster and all of the veggies as well. Great, great effort here as that is a super delicious sauce that works really well with the components here. You can't really tell by my picture but they really loaded it up with the seafood as soon as you dig into the dish so don't be deceived by my picture. We also got their Crab Rangoon which was good but lacked crab flavour and was more of just a cream cheese rangoon. I do wish they would open their dining room back up but for bow their takeaway is top notch. read more

I love General Tso's Chicken or Spicy Cashew Chicken, both on bed of egg fried rice, and these two dishes are among the best Chinese I've had in the Cincinnati/Dayton,Ohio and Southeast Indiana area. Their meat is tender and well cooked, their vegetables are fresh and their combination of spices is exceptional. My wife loves their Moo Goo Gai Pan. The small restaurant is clean and the service is fast. You can call ahead for carry-out and it is usually done in 15 minutes. Be advised, they are closed on Mondays. read more

An excellent restaurant to get quick delicious meals to take home. Super fast turn around after ordering (10 to 15 min). There are six tables for dine in. There are so many choices here, my favorites are the House Special Mei Fun, Szechuan Beef or Chicken, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Hunan Beef or Chicken, Sautéed Green Beans and Singapore Mai Fun. It's conveniently located next to Kroger's so I order, walk over to do some shopping and when I return most times it is ready. Local food made when you order. Bamm! They food taste good. I usually phone in and 15 drive there and it's done. It's fresher tasting that the buffet Chinese food. While it's smaller it is bigger in taste. Small inside for eat in. The food is outstanding in taste and color. The size they give you is good. The containers are not fast food like they are actually containers that I have reused. A FYI thing. Is when your walking in or out watch for cars Kroger has a drive up pharmacy and some of the people are not looking. I have ordered several times and each time it is just as tasty and fresh tasting. A small, family run restaurant in a shopping center. They have an extensive menu. The portions are huge and would easily feed two people. They have a few tables but most people there were getting take-out. We ordered the sweet & sour chicken, orange chicken, happy family and a seafood combination with white and fried rice on the size. We ordered and it took about 25 minutes, so if you're getting take out it would be best to call ahead. The food was fresh. The orange chicken needed more spice, it was kind of bland. I checked this place out bc of the previous reviews. I ordered the crab Rangoon and sweet and sour chicken. It also came with a pork egg roll. The crab grab goon was really good except it could have had more filling. The pork egg roll tasted old, like it was made a few days ago and just reheated. The sweet and sour chicken was mixed. The rice was good (the onion in it was a nice addition). The chicken itself was good but the sweet and sour sauce was so watery, I didn't bother to use too much of it. Assuming I return, I won't get the egg rolls or sweet and sour chicken. read more

Small Chinese place. 4 tables and seating for 20ish. They do have a restroom for customers. This is mostly a takeout place. The food is very good when judged against the other Chinese offerings in the area. I like their general tzo chicken. The person. Behind the counter is typically very nice as well. read more

We stopped by the Happy Dragon while staying in town with our three grandchildren. We all decided this was indeed one of the best Chinese restaurants ever. The servers were extra friendly, the service fast and the food was delicious. Three of us ordered combination meals and none of us could finish our meals because there simply was so much food. I ordered General Tsao chicken, my wife ordered Egg Foo Yung, one of the grandchildren had orange chicken with the other two simply ordering a serving of rice and noodles. We also ordered their sautéed string green beans...the best green beans we have ever eaten. So good were they that our grandchildren finished off a large plate of them. There are tables for about twenty people as it is mainly a carry out restaurant. We did eat inside and the atmosphere is very cozy. You will not be disappointed if you eat at Happy Dragon! read more

The crab rangoons are amazing with a very tasty filling. We had the General Tso's chicken and vegetable Pad Thai. The General's sauce was a nice sweet and spicy combo. The Pad Thai was full of fresh vegetables and the noodles were cooked correctly. The overall Pad Thai flavor took us a while to get used to (we had never had it before) but once we did it was quite good. It was probably the sauce that we were tasting. Staff is friendly. First of all, I have to say that I need an intervention. I order from this place at least twice a week! As a resident, it is by far the best Chinese place in town. I highly recommend the chicken pad thai and the General Tso's chicken. The food is always hot and fresh, and the owners are delightful and kind. The place is meticulous, and the service efficient. As a Lawrenceburg resident and frequent customer I can easily say that this is the best Chinese food in the area you will find. The food alone is much better than the other establishment we have here. They make all food to order, and the restaurant is extremely clean with a pleasant atmosphere. Best of all the customer service is excellent, clearly a family owned operation who take pride in their business. If they say ten minutes for food, it usually comes out even sooner, and the prices are just right. Some of their best dishes to try are the Pad Thai (vegetable, pork, chicken, etc..), Teriyaki chicken, Egg Foo Young, and especially the Crab Rangoon which is the best I have ever had. Every once in a while I have to get Happy Dragon, more often if I didn't have some restraint. The Shrimp egg roll is awesome. Love the Crab Rangoons and everything else I have tried. If I order the Cashew chicken they are nice enough to do it with white sauce and not the dark sauce. The people are always pleasant and the restaurant is cleaner than any other Chinese restaurant I have been in!!! Excited to order out today!!! read more
