Most of the food on the buffet wasn't cooked all the way. The egg rolls were very chewy due to the fact that the outside of the egg roll wasn't cooked. read more

They are so nice and friendly here and great customer service! Food always comes out hot and fresh. Restaurant its self could use a little TLC but it's much cleaner and nicer than most. Worth the extra drive to come to this location. They offer a buffet at certain times but I've not tried it yet. read more

WOWWW!!!..... Had I known this place was 4 miles from my house I would have saved Many Many miles and gas on my car. This place is AWESOME!!!!! ..... portions are excellent, you definitely get moneys worth here!!!..... I ordered the Hibachi filet, chicken and shrimp for $18... if i would have gone to Beni Hana or sakura I would have definitely paid double for 1/2 the amount of food. The Vegetables are super fresh and the Yum Yum sauce is to die for.... Ginger dressing for salad is delish.....Also, now my new go to for spring rolls!!!! Love me some spring rolls !!!.... I first reviewed this spot 4 years ago and felt it was time for refresh. Fast, fresh, friendly service with great quality Chinese food - that is what you'll find at Lin Great Wall. The gal who takes orders and works up front is incredibly kind and genuine. I've even run into her outside of the restaurant and she always remembers me and we don't even eat there that often. But we love it. It's consistently good food and I think they might make their dumplings by hand - they are that good. I'm just glad we have a wonderful Chinese restaurant like this so close to home. 1 star because there was no way of leaving none. My usual standby for Chinese since I live very close by. Not any more. Picked up some Chicken Broccoli with fried rice the other night. Can't say the fried rice was terrible. It was nothing... no flavor, nothing. Didn't even look like normal fried rice. The chicken broccoli, hmmm. The chicken was barely cooked at all. I mean nearly raw. I didn't notice until I had eaten several bites of it. Needless to say, I spent most of that night in the bathroom. Never going back there again. read more

Tucked away in a shopping center on Shady Ln, this place is easy to overlook. However they stand out by having some of the best Chinese food in the city! The staff is very friendly, the lunch specials are an unbeatable deal. This is definitely my new go to for Chinese. read more

Something has changed here. Food was only so-so. Not even close to the quality I've come to expect from Lin. Fried rice with only egg and a little soy sauce. Smaller egg rolls, tasteless. We have ordered takeout from this restaurant for many years. We stopped by today on the way home and found that they had added additional space and made it into a sit down restaurant. You can still order takeout, but we decided to give it a try and eat in. The atmosphere is spartan but clean. The owner took our order and was very friendly and efficient. She offered us a complimentary salad with ginger sauce that was really delicious. My husband ordered General Tso's chicken and I ordered the Shrimp Egg Foo Young. Both of us ordered combination dinners which included egg fried rice and an egg roll. The food was quickly prepared and tasted just as good as we always remembered. We will be sure to stop back, especially now that we know it is a cozy little place to sit down and eat as well. read more

Haven't been here since they expanded in to the space next door. Looks great. Bright, clean and huge. Not the closest to my house. There are at least 5 that are closer and easier to get to but I'll make the extra effort. Never been disappointed. I usually get the fried dumplings. Always yummy. Today I got the house lo mein. Oh my gosh, so so good ! And such huge portions. Enough to feed 3, I may or may not eat the entire thing Pork, chicken and shrimp. And plenty of sauce. Not dry like some others. When it was ready, she didn't bring it to the hostess stand and tell me it was ready. She walked right past the hostess stand and brought it to me. It's the little things! 3 days ago had their Shrimp mai fun, it was great, bragged to all my family so we placed a huge order. When i get mine its a huge ball of burned eggs. I call her to tell her im bringing it back. I get there and she tells me i cannot return old food. Duh. I told her my mom had just picked up the order 15 minutes before, she says no you lie, this old food. She turns away from me and answers the phone to which i asked other patrons if they would eat that, all said no, i offered to let them all touch it, it was still warm. She rudly tells me she make another but i lie about food, at this point i made her refund my money and will not be back. Love the food here. The old place was awful. This is a new owner. So glad we tried it. We got a brown sauce with our fried wontons that was soooo good. I found this gem about 2 weeks ago and have eaten there 5 times since. The egg drop soup however lacks flavor and the egg rolls are pretty plain. Now the good news for west siders who wax poetic of the good old days of Grand China the rice and entrees seem like siblings to these long gone west side favorites and at a very reasonable price.
