If I could give less than one star I would! What a total rip off!!!! Be prepared to pay $150 for a basic manicure and pedicure. It was over $30 just to remove the gels from my hands and feet! That's insane ! She did not even put polish on my toes (as pictured) and my nail polish on my fingers chipped after 3 days. As pictured not even all of the red polish was REMOVED on my big toe!! What exactly did I pay for??? I NEVER GOT A FULL PEDICURE BECAUSE THERE WAS NO POLISH ON MY TOES. She made me feel so uncomfortable. What a horrible experience. Don't waste your time and money here. When I am receiving manicuring services, I like to feel relaxed and comfortable and that is exactly what Coastal Pedicure gives. They use quality products and take their time with their clients. The gravity chairs are heaven sent and I kept waking myself from my own snoring. If you care about yourself, treat yourself to a pedicure (at the least) from Coastal and your life will be changed. read more

My husband and I were in town for an anniversary getaway and decided to treat ourselves to pedicures. We were able to get appointments the day before and it was a great experience. I just got a pedicure there and this is how they let me leave with my feet. Completely dirty heels look horrible. The woman who gave my pedicure was not pleasant didn't greet me with anything other than go wash your hands charge me $30 to remove my gel on top of an $85 pedicure and then didn't tell me I wouldn't be getting a scrub or a massage until I asked at the end why didn't get a massage or scrub and she said well you didn't tell me that you had gel on when you booked the appointment. My response was they didn't ask how would I know as a consumer I'm supposed to let them know that I feel completely taken advantage of, and had to go home and scrub my own feet. read more

To this day it baffles me how anyone could give anything less than a five star review for this place! In fact, a gal who was receiving a pedicure just before me seemed dissatisfied which was a surprise and polar opposite of every experience I've had here. While I don't know her experience first hand, it sounded like a simple miscommunication but the client seemed to really want to argue. No one (client or technician) is a mind reader so the interaction on the clients part seemed extreme. And the technician was very professional and kept her composure. Anyway back to me, the cleanliness, thorough and professional service was above par as per usual! Taren is incredible, her pressure and application is perfection every single time. This is my happy place. It is the best pedicure spot I have ever been too. First you enter the shop, wash your hands and then the relaxation begins. You are reclined in a massage and heat chair, given a nice heated eye mask. The next thing I know, I wake up to beautiful toes. Love the women that work there, very professional. I had my first pedicure here, and I really enjoyed it. I'm pregnant and the reclining/massage chair was lovely for my lower back. I had a second appointment scheduled, and when I tried to push it back to a later day, I was charged a cancellation fee. I totally understand the importance of running a business and having policies to protect the business, but I think that holding a cancellation policy so firmly, especially with a new customer who intended to come back, is a quick way to lose business. Holy moly this place is like discovering the fountain of youth for your feet. I almost didn't post a review because I don't want to have an even harder time getting an appointment! These gals are so wonderful and truly dedicated to making sure the experience is relaxing. I'm not going to get into all the ways they make this happen so I don't ruin the surprise but this is super luxurious spa-quality tight here in our little sleepy town. I was lucky to get an appointment the same day I called. I needed a manicure before I left on a trip, and I needed something that would last 2 weeks. What I did not want was a "gel" manicure because I don't like the process of roughing up the nail. My manicure at assured me that their process would last and no sanding needed. My nails looked fabulous for the entire 2 weeks! Very pleasant experience and since they use new implements for each guest, I received a lovely mail file to take home! Taryn was lovely and skilled. Do not waste your money and time with this salon. They're customer service is terrible. If you try to modify or cancel your appointment be expected to pay full price. You cannot speak to a human on the phone, they expect you to send them a text. It's very disorganized and the owner is incredibly unprofessional. read more

Best pedicure we ever had. Why? Did it with my wife. Great date day. Don't knock it till you try it guys. Absolutely the best massage chairs that lay you completely horizontal. Over an hour of massaging, very careful and pain free nail clipping and buffing. It was also a nice perk to be able to talk with the pedicurists who live locally. You do need to make your call early for a couples appointment. But it will be well worth it! Also, FYI, we did book the deluxe pedicure. read more

I have been getting pedicures for many years at any one of the many little nail shops you see all around. Sometimes I would get decent pedis, and sometimes not at all. Often after 4-5 days it would look like I needed another one. I honestly didn't know any better as that was what I was used to. A friend of mine raved about Coastal Pedicure and I finally made an appointment. The place was super easy to find as it's directly across from Cemetery park on Main. Lots of parking on both sides of the street. When I walked in there was a cool and peaceful vibe. The large grassy skylight is just the coolest thing! So creative! The special chairs they have are SO comfortable and NOTHING like the chairs in your standard pedicure place. She placed a super soft blanket over me and reclined me back. She was so gentle with my feet and gave me the best foot and lower leg massage ever. I fell into a half asleep, half-awake state and it was like heaven. When she told me that she had completed the pedi, I did NOT want to get up! The suite is so beautiful with a Ventura, beachy vibe. Afterwards I was so relaxed I felt like I had just gotten an hour full body massage. Best of all, my toes and feet looked so pretty. It's been over 2 weeks and my toes still look so nice. The entire experience was like a completely different thing than I had been used to at any of the random nail shops. After my wonderful experience there I will be making room in my busy schedule to fit it in. Everything about the experience was A+++. I cannot wait to go back to this wonderful little shop. Had a wonderful experience at Coastal Pedicure with Riley! I decided to treat myself to a gel mani and a spa pedi. She was very sweet and attentive. The vibe was calm and quite, I love that no cell phones are aloud. Both services were great and I'm happy with how my nails came out! I did rate 4 stars because although the pedi was worth every penny at $55, the gel mani is a bit too expensive for me to be spending. I did not have gel on going into my appointment and the service price was set at $50 for the most basic. I would definitely be in for more frequent manicures but the cost is just frankly out of my budget at this time. I was placed in a reclining chair with air massage. This had been the best pedicure/back massage I've ever had. I have been here several times and there is no better pedicure in town. The zero gravity chair and their process rivals even the Ojai Valley Spa which I have all been to numerous times. The salon is quaint and they are very mindful of keeping it quiet so you can fully relax. They also did a great job of screening us before we came in due to COVID. I felt safe at all times. Kathy always does a great job and is really friendly as are all of the other girls. My mom had Riley and loved her pedicure too. I am so happy I was let in on the best kept manicure secret in town...Coastal Pedicure! I have tried about 4 other places in town and they all pale in comparison to Coastal Pedicure. PROS: Kind, friendly staff Promptly return calls Excellent manicurists Clean facility and tools Bazillion color options Very cute, comfortable shop CONS: None that I am aware of When you call to make the appointment, usually you leave a voice mail and one of the gals calls back later to book your appointment. So far, I have not had an issue with that (I've only called two times). My calls and appointments have been booked within a few hours of my initial call. The facility is nice and cozy and well appointed with luxury recliners for your pedicure and two nice stations for manicures. The color options on the polishes and gels are really great. There are so many colors to choose from. My manicurist did such a beautiful job on my gel nails. I highly recommend Coastal Pedicure. read more

I am not someone who gets mani/pedi often but when I get one I want to feel like it was special and that I have gotten my monies worth. I had a favorite place but it went under due to the pandemic. I've been bouncing around since then. Yesterday I had Riley for my mani/pedi and it was a full two hour pampering! I loved the gravity chair for the pedicure because it required no work on my part to move my legs, just total relaxation. I will definitely go back when my summer feet are ready to come out of hiding. For now, she made my feet feel like hands! Next time I plan to try gel polish. They have an organic one to try. I've been coming to Coastal Pedicure for over a year and they will always be my number one choice for amazing and relaxing manicures and pedicures. The entire team is incredible and the experience is unbeatable. So relaxing. I love the quality of the products used and the attention to detail. The anti gravity pedicure chairs make you feel like you are on a cozy cloud being pampered! Update 4/26/19- Unfortunately after over a year and a half I'm no longer a regular customer at CP as of today. Kathy and Rebecca are great but the owner is apparently more concerned about haphazardly enforcing policy then thinking of repeat customers. In early 2019 I had to cancel an appt with less than 4 hours notice and it was fine and there wouldn't be a charge. No big deal- awesome! So thoughtful. My mother on the other hand had to cancel two appts over the last couple month once with an over 24 hour notice, and one with a less than 24 hour hour notice. Because you know, sometimes the stomach flu doesn't give you a bigger heads up. She was told it was fine and that they understood then today the owner charged her for the cancellation fee all of the sudden I guess potential customers should just not get sick or bring a bucket with you if you have the stomach flu. Oh and ps. I immediately went in to go cancel my appt after picking up my mom. Cute to walk in to find the owner rolling her eyes and obviously talking about my mother who had just left to her employee. Very professional. read more

The chair was exceptionally comfortable, my pedicure came out nice, HOWEVER they had music playing quite loudly, and yet the sign on the door said to whisper inside, and I could not relax at all. This is not the treatment and experience my sister and friend had received there. I asked, politely, if they could please turn the music down because I could not relax. My pedicurist mumbled something in her mask, and never turned it down. I was almost in tears because I paid a lot of money for a spa experience and got a lot of loud bass. My sister told me they never had any music like this when she has gone in, so is this a new decision? i will never go back. read more

I've been going here for several months now and although I hate to say it I won't be going back. For the last several times, my polish has been chipping within days. Both pedicure and gel manicure. I've left messages saying so, but no one has addressed this. My last appointment I found the prices had increased. This salon is already quite pricey and I just don't think it's worth it. The chairs don't work (massage option) and now chipping polish. The atmosphere is lovely; technicians are wonderful but that's not enough to keep clients returning. Unfortunately I just can't justify returning. I hope someone will take heart and make some improvements. Tami is amazing! If you are looking for a chance to escape the mundane life and be pampered I highly recommend Tami at Costal Pedicures! She uses amazing scrubs and lotions (they smell awesome!) From the minute you walk into the spa experience begins! The shop is located close to downtown Ventura & the beach which is choice. You are greeted and treated to a beverage from the Keurig (if you want one.)
