I've been here several times and it is really a hit or miss. Sometimes I get great results with the gel manicure, and other times they feel very rushed and sloppy. This last time was unfortunately the latter. Just overall rushed, sloppy, uneven nail filing, and glitter top coat ended up very spotty. I called on Sunday to make a reservation and they advised to come in before 5pm because they are only taking walk ins. I took an Uber and arrived at 4:40pm, and they did not even make an effort to accommodate. The next person who came in had apparently called a few minutes before to make an appointment and they were easily able to accommodate them and asked her to sign in. My recommendation to the business would be to be upfront over the phone and let customers know what the wait time is projected to look like, and suggest arriving before 4:30pm instead of 5pm. Because of their misleading guidance, I wasted money, time, and commute. If you are looking for a place that values customer service and hospitality, this place will not be it. I really wanted to give Skyline Nails 5 stars because the quality of the services was excellent. The three of us all had the Signature Gel Pedicure, and it truly felt like a spa experience. It was one of the best pedicures we've had. Our Gel-X manicures also turned out great. The staff was friendly and did beautiful work, and Linda was especially wonderful--she gave me an amazing massage during my pedicure. The only reason for 4 stars is how appointments were handled. We made a 9:30 a.m. reservation (their opening time) and arrived on time, expecting we'd all be started promptly. Instead, only one of us started right away. Another didn't begin until about 10:15, and I didn't even get water in my chair until 10:15 and started at 10:40 after asking about our appointment. Meanwhile, several walk-in customers who said they didn't have appointments and customers with later appointments were started before us. The staff themselves were caring and professional, so this seemed more like an organizational issue than an employee issue. I just wish appointments had been prioritized over walk-ins. Overall, we left very happy with the quality of our treatments and would absolutely return because the services were spa quality. If the appointment process were better organized, Skyline Nails would easily earn 5 stars from me. read more

I had a 2:00 pm appointment on a Sunday, and to say the shop was very busy is an understatement. I did have to wait about 30 min over my appointment time, when I sat down with Alex for my gel X service I was not disappointed he did exactly the design I asked for and took his time, he didn't rush through my appointment at all. Linda absolutely rushed though my service and did a horrible job. Slipped with the nail tool multiple times and barely even cut my toenails or touched my feet even though I paid extra for callus remover and then multiple times asked for a cash tip. She even made sure to follow me up front and stick with me to make sure I tipped her even though the salon was full and there was a line up front. THEN they made me pay TWICE saying the first transaction didn't go through even though I showed them my bank statement showing the first charge. I definitely should not have paid again but I did not want to cause a scene. Definitely will not be returning and will be disputing the charge. read more

I had an appointment at 9:30 AM. I went in for a builder gel manicure and basic pedicure with callus remover. Mimi did my builder gel - it was my first time getting this service. Jennifer did my pedicure. They were both very rough and seemed like in a rush, not sure why as I had an appointment and was one of the first clientele in. Mimi nicked and made me bleed twice. I told Jennifer prior to her starting that I did not want a massage. She proceeded to give me one and when I told her I didn't want one she smiled and said most customers want one. She continued to give me a light weird massage after I told her I didn't want one and didn't like it. She was very rough on feet as well.
