The pizza was excellent--perfectly cooked crust and fresh toppings that actually taste like they came from an Italian kitchen. Service has always been friendly for us if a little slow at times. Ask for a refill well in advance if needing it. They have different themed days like a west coast and a trivia night. The pork belly is to die for. The mushroom and Swiss is a favorite of my spouse. I also really enjoyed their brunch selections. The thick cut French toast is prepared perfectly and delicious. Even the everyday eggs and bacon were satisfying. I've also had their Detroit style pizzas and I'd honestly choose them over 90 percent of pizza places in the area. I used to get Marcos (fairly often) when I lived in Utah, and I looooved it. I was really excited to see one in Iowa! Their cheesy bread is perfectly cheesy, garlicky, and bready. I am aware that I just described cheesy bread in a less than creative way, but you'll understand what I'm saying when (not if) you get yourself some! We grabbed a pepperoni pizza as well and it hit the spot! So many tasty pepperonis, super cheesy, and the crust was delightful! It was also one of those pizzas that you can heat up in the microwave the next day without compromising the flavor. That is truly a hurdle for pizza reheating. One day during a lunch break a coworker and I drove here to pick up pizza also, and I convinced him we NEEDED to get cheesy bread. Let's just say, we're the only ones that knew it existed because it didn't even make it back to work. I have a special place I my heart for that stuff, and the cravings are so real. It was a lot of wine but a good deal! The only thing that was difficult is their printed wine menu is different from what they had available. The waitress was nice so she got some recommendations from the bartender and we were able to choose wine that way. The pizza was great, some of the best we have had in Coralville. Their pasta tasted fresh and homemade, I am not sure if it is but that was the vibe we got. The broccolini was hot!! Not in a straight out of the oven way, but in an it carries some heat way. We thought maybe there was chili oil on it? But even though we weren't expecting the heat, they were super good. The only downside to the meal was the crème brûlée, it bothers me when the top isn't crispy. Normally, you use the spoon to kind of break the sugar glass on top (i think it's sugar?) and I was sad when the sugar on top was missing from half of it.
