This place is a hit or miss. Most of the time my wife would receive her order correctly with 25% sugar and less ice. A couple of times it's overloaded with sugar compared to her actual request, in which she end up not liking it and giving it to me. I don't like "happy" lemon. There was a time when our order was ready. For some reason, no one called out our number. We decided to ask if our order was ready. And as mentioned, it was just sitting on the counter waiting to be called. The place is always busy especially during the weekend. The area where they make the drinks and the floor, needs some cleaning to be done. Suggestions to the owner or manager of this location, make sure the customer receives the order they requested correctly, no attitude is needed toward the customers, as you work at a customer service oriented industry , and keep the area clean throughout the day. read more

I haven't been to Plaza Bonita mall in forever but I can say that they've really up'd their food court appeal because wow are there so many options. I really wanted a milk tea and I'm big fan of Happy Lemon in general so I ordered the ube milk tea with cheese foam. My husband stayed while I picked up another order and when he came to find me I noticed the coloring was all wrong. The flavor of the milk tea was bland and the cheese foam was so lacking. I'm not sure what could have happened, but man was I disappointed, I was too tired to go back to have them make a new one but I will not be ordering again from this location. read more

The drinks are amazing, but having only one person taking and making orders is ridiculous. There was a full line, and I waited about 35 minutes just to get my drink, and that's not even counting all the online orders coming in. Management really needs to staff this place better. Overall, the drinks are really good, but the wait times especially on weekends have become excessive. The line often stretches past the perfume store and there are either only two people working and they're completely slammed making drinks, or there are five people but only one person is actually working while the others are standing around talking:/ I've worked at a boba shop when I was younger, and for premade drinks with boba, the wait time shouldn't be this long unless it's a blended drink or a waffle. Lately, it's been about 30 minutes just to get through the line and an additional 20 minutes to receive a drink.:///// I've been understanding because the staff seems young and could be overwhelmed, but lately the situation has been a little ridiculous. The worst Happy Lemon Ive been to. Today there was a long line and for some reason it took almost 30 minutes just to get my order taken. And the baristas werent even busy, I know this because after every customer thats been helped there drinks come out in 3 minutes or less. After every customer the cashier helps , he goes to do something else and takes an extra 5 minutes. Like Im confused you cant restock after a long line ?? You have to do it then and there while visibly aware theres a long ass line ???? Sadly, never coming back to this location again. I am a huge fan of Happy Lemon but the employees at this store front need to be re-trained on how to deliver consistent and quality tea. It has only been twice that I come here in a couple of months frame of time and yet the location only offers Large drink sizes, which is bizarre! Way too much tea for one serving. The other issue that I've had was the employee(s) not following my order on my sweetness level. I like my tea on the less sweet side (25%) and both times I was given a drink that was sickeningly sweet and far beyond my requested 25% sweetness. It's sad to see this location struggle because I know happy lemon is capable of far more. read more

Usually a wait if you're ordering waffles. It's in Plaza so a lot of younger ppl waiting in line to order. This last visit was pretty quick. My order was messed up but luckily I caught it while looking at the receipt after paying. Was able to walk to cashier & wait for person to finish paying then they adjusted my order. The salted cheese foam was superrrrrr salty. Made my husband gag & spit it out after taking a sip. The waffles are good. I ordered half/half Oreo & cheese. I ordered a mango matcha smoothie which is supposedly one of their most favorites drinks. Tastes like green tea. Didn't have a hint of mango in it. Pretty expensive for what it is. Paid near $30 for 2 drinks & 2 waffles. Ambiance is loud & hectic depending on the day you come. It is a mall so expect a lot of high schoolers hanging out. The drinks alone were mediocre. Was here yesterday and there was no line so I waited in front of the cashier since I was standing there for ~15 minutes assuming since no one saw me and a line started to form. The individual working there told me I needed to go back in line when I was being ignored for 15 minutes and waiting in the nonexistent line up until people waited behind me so I waited 15 minutes just to go back in line. Not only that the female with heavily placed blush on the register was chewing her gum (unsanitary) since she was obnoxiously chewing it. I ordered an A3 with boba and extra oreo but for some reason they put a lot of ice in my drink when I asked for a regular amount. Don't like the happy lemon here due to customer service, always a bad experience. I had a review for Eastlake but also a bad experience and bad reputation in the work community due to bad management.
