Their taro milk tea with lychee jelly has been my go to since they've opened. So yummy!

This is a review for the Sharetea location at Highland and Plaza in National City. My wife and I are longtime Sharetea customers and have had consistently good experiences at other locations in Los Angeles, Valencia Mall, and Irvine. Because of that track record, we expected a similar experience here. Unfortunately, this location fell far short. We stopped by after a family walk in Coronado. When I walked in, I was the only customer, yet the cashier did not acknowledge me right away and appeared distracted on his phone. The space itself was very dimly lit, with only the register area illuminated, which immediately made the place feel uninviting. What really stood out was the music. It was loud hip hop and rap with clearly audible profanity, which made it difficult to place an order. If I had brought my two young children inside, this would have been completely inappropriate for a family environment. Ordering was also frustrating. The cashier seemed unfamiliar with the menu and responded unenthusiastically when I ordered standard drinks that are clearly listed and that I have ordered many times at other Sharetea locations. Nothing about my order was custom or unusual. I also requested grass jelly and confirmed verbally that it was available. When I received my drink, the topping was clearly not grass jelly. When I asked about it, I was told that it was grass jelly, even though it obviously was not. To make matters worse, the payment system prompted for gratuity before the drinks were made, and I had already tipped. That left a bad impression, especially given the incorrect order and overall experience. I understand that the cashier may have been working alone, but I was also the only customer in the store. The overall attitude felt disengaged, which is not what you expect from a franchise known for consistency. Between the poor lighting, loud and explicit music, incorrect order, and lack of attentiveness, this location is not comparable to other Sharetea stores I have visited. I do not usually leave negative reviews, but this experience genuinely warranted one. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because this location does not reflect the quality or standards I associate with the Sharetea brand. read more

Came on a Thursday night and there was only one worker. Luckily it wasn't too busy and he was nice and friendly. I love how spacious this boba shop is and the decorations and vibes are cool and chill. I got drinks off their top recommendations menu and enjoyed them. I got the mango and passion fruit tea with boba such a classic that was executed well very flavorful and the boba was perfect. I also got the strawberry ice blended with lychee jelly and ice cream. This drink was just okay a little bit sweet for my preference but my son loved it. Overall I would come back if I was in the area. read more

Second time here! Both times came after eating at royal mandarin! A nice treat after. Close by, big, tons of options and pretty good. Staff is always welcoming. They also have little goodies for sale on the counter now like Sonny angels! Very peaceful and both times I came was empty so no waiting which I love! Ambiance is nice. Of course plenty of parking and tons of specialty drinks! Some come with 5 toppings in the drink! Wow!! read more

I understand charging $0.50 to break even, even a service charge, but trying to make a profit from tap water is unacceptable. The quality of the cup and water do not justify the price. I like the tiny claw machine because nothing says good business model like letting me pay real money to win a keychain I don't need. Now, onto the drinks. I like my boba sweet, but this was like I accidentally dumped the whole sugar jar in sweet. Not bad, just... diabetes in a cup. If you love a sugar rush, you'll probably enjoy it more than I did. But here's the real kicker--no. public. restroom. So, while you can sit and chill, just know that the second nature calls, you're on your own... I come here all the time and never been more dissatisfied with my order. It took really long because the girl working right now at 4:50PM works extremely slow! My husband's tea was super watered down. This is the first time I've had white chunks inside my milk tea. She told me it's "creamer". I asked her to remake it. I wanted to give this place a shot since I was nearby. I regretted it and wished I had gone to my usual boba spots. The music is loud, there are some seating options and a rack of random overpriced clothes (some were stained) off to the side for sale, which was interesting. Ordered a milk tea with boba and was told it only came in one size. The milk tea was not crisp and refreshing and the boba had inconsistent textures. The cashier was fixing her hair/braiding it while taking my order which was off putting and there are no public restrooms, even for customers. Great location! There is a nice sized parking lot, and is right next to the Otay Mall so there's plenty of places to walk and just to hang out. There are also plenty of tables and chairs inside, with a few outside as well. My favorite drink here is the Okinawa Pearl milk tea. I love the amount of boba pearls they put in each drink! The Okinawa at 100% sugar is really good, and is not too sweet in my opinion. I really enjoyed it. I also got light ice so it wasn't too watered down. It wasn't very busy when I came, so my drink came out fairly quickly. I came back to order the Oreo Ice Blended drink for my husband, which also came out pretty fast. You can kind of taste some kind of sweetener in this drink, but other than that it was really good as well! read more

Our order was pretty much ready as soon as we paid. Customer service was 5 stars for sure. There were many choices of milk teas, fruit teas, and blended drinks to choose from so I'll try something new next time I visit. I highly recommend their boba! My friend got a Wintermelon milk tea with pearls (honey boba) and it was super soft and chewy. ShareTea is an independently-owned chain that is consistent in flavor and quality! This location is newer and is super clean and cute. It's right next to Chucke cheese but there's plenty of parking. The boba balls are always perfectly soft and chewy and my drinks are always prepared just how I like. My fiancé was pretty excited to see that there was a Sharetea closer to home since he loves their blended matcha with red bean and boba. I don't know if this place is still trying to get in a good groove but my family and I ordered 4 drinks from here and they were all a miss. No one liked their drinks at all. I ordered the mango ice blended with ice cream and I literally threw mine away before I got halfway through it. My fiancé asked to have his drink remade as he thought it was not sweet at all and they were great about that, being very quick to remake his drink. However, the remake was not an improvement at all and my fiancé didn't see any point in asking for a 3rd remake. Each drink cost about $7 each so it was pretty overpriced for what we got, especially since none of us enjoyed our drinks. The only reason I would give them 2 stars is because the actual boba itself was decent and the staff were very nice. To be honest, I'd rather drive up the extra 20 minutes to convoy and get boba from that location. read more

Not usually my go to for boba drinks but I was surprised at how well my drink tasted! The store was clean and had a cute neon sign and mini claw machine inside. I got their Coffee Milk Tea which was my first coffee/tea drink ever. It had a star next to it so I trusted that it would taste good. The coffee taste is there and I can taste the tea. I never found that combination to work but it does! I asked for zero sugar but it's still pretty sweet I'm assuming from the milk tea.
