Love this little tea cafe near UCF. Very light and bright upon walking in. You will be greeted by a cheerful employee ready to help with any questions. If you look in the corner by the window there is a little claw machine (just a cute little touch). They do sell ice cream here as well in case you needed something sweet besides boba tea. I'm not a sweet drink kind of person but Tan Cha got me hooked. I had the cocoa tiramisu float on my first visit and I kept craving for it days after. On my second visit at first I thought my friend's Hami milkshake was better than my Mango Creamio but as I took more sips the smile on my face kept growing & I kept saying how good it was. Finally a mango treat that tasted like the mango I like, comparable to the Filipino mango ice cream taste that no place has duplicated so far. The only reason I am saying that is because one of the drinks we got was good, but the other drink we got was bad We got the brulee thai tea and the brown sugar latte with boba. The brulee thai tea was good. The flavor of the thai tea was there and the brulee that was on the side of the cup was also good. The two might not necessarily go together, but I still liked it anyway. The brown sugar latte was a different story though. It had such a weird taste and smell to it. It almost reminded me eggs starting to smell like sulfur. I don't think the drink tasted bad, but I couldn't tell because the smell of it was so odd. I am a bit conflicted on whether or not I would recommend this place because of the two different drinks I had. If I am ever nearby, I might give it a try again. read more

The Shop is minimal and clean in a mall that didn't seem too busy and there are plenty of parking available. Interior space is clean and spacious. several tables to sit, decor is minimal and friendly staff. The staff seemed to be more on the quiet side which is my preference, as long as they are professional and helpful. Since this was my first time, they have a good selection of Boba milk teas with cheese foam and a variety of toppings and yes, ice cream. This was the first to see ice cream on the menu. You are able to sample the ice cream flavors which is a plus. I was so glad they had ube. The ube was delicious and authentic. Scoop was generous and I could eat two scoops and it was not too sweet. Great Milk Tea! Growing up in the Bay Area, this is one of my favorite milk tea places, and was surprised that Orlando had one. I ordered the Red Jade Milk Tea and my boyfriend got the Royal Ceylon Milk Tea, both with the Tiramisu Foam. I have tried the Ceylon Milk Tea before and it is a bit sweet for me. It has a nutty flavor as was described on the menu; it leans more towards an almond nutty flavor. Never tried the Red Jade and I have to say it was the best black tea-based milk tea I ever had at a milk tea place before. I tend to like more of a stronger tea flavor, but I would say this black tea was not strong at all. It was not bitter and tasted very good with the milk and the foam. If you've never tried their drinks, I would recommend trying one with tiramisu foam, royal ceylon is pretty good.
