Andrew from Sol Source came out, looked at it once and said "I see exactly where they went wrong and I know how to fix it". He ordered the parts right there on the spot and they were able to fix my install in two short visits (one to inspect and one to install) and he made himself available to answer any questions I had after the install to make sure I was happy. I probably had 3-4 electricians out before I found Sol Source and none of them even know the basics about how my system worked (or even electricity) and I was so relieved to see Andrew knew everything. I'm burning every electrician's contact I have and will only hire Andrew until he retires (so Sol Source better take care of him!) 1000% recommend.

After installation, I later learned that the streaming services for the boxes offering this type of access may not be authorized for many of the channels advertised, which was not disclosed at the time of purchase. After the one-year warranty period expired, the streaming service stopped working, rendering the streaming boxes no longer functioning as represented. My request to refund the boxes was declined as met with texts such as "go F myself!" and "If I see anything g from you in a defamation character way I will have my attorneys sue you..."

He installed an additional drop down bolt for the gate where there wasn't one and welded an extra piece of metal at the deadbolt latch so the catch was deeper. He sealed and painted it to match the gate and did a beautiful job. He was going to install an additional latch but said he thought what i had was sufficient so he took that charge from his original estimate. I thought he was very fair and honest and i appreciated his expertise in letting me know i didnt need the extra latch. I highly recommend him and his work. I am keeping his number for next time something comes up with my gates!

We were able to get double rollers on the windows that we wanted black out potential and privacy shades on the windows that didn't. Our installation was a little bumpy, but I appreciated that the problem was treated as an all hands on deck situation, and we even had one of the owners here to insure that the rest of the installation went smoothly. They had installed the Control4 system at my house for the previous owners (who also recommended them), and added sound bars/subwoofers, game consoles and remote access to my system. They are very professional and committed the time to fully run me through the system - excellent customer service. I have used them for additional installs and have continued to be impressed by their professionalism. Since Control4 installers are all independent contractors, it is critical that a professional and ethical team is hired - they definitely check that requirement. Overall, their level of customer service at installation and maintenance is excellent. Definitely five stars!

I explained the problem I was having to Matthew with my home theater/ receiver and programming. He gave me a day & time, even texted a reminder. Matthew started looking over the system, explained to me he's partner would be coming a little later. Matthew explained everything that him and Trevor will do. He also, explained the price, and an option. Trevor showed up and in no time, they were explaining and showing me what they did. Straighten out all my hdmi cables, labeled them and reprogrammed my remotes, even got my Harmony remote working again. The guys did an awesome job and the price was great. Having a big Oregon Ducks & SC football party. The project included 15 Ethernet drops across six rooms and 1900 sq ft, audio speaker wiring, and height speaker installation. The work turned out very well overall. What stands out most was Rick's accountability to the job and for the work of his crew. He was communicative, kept me informed throughout the job, and made absolutely sure any issues I had were addressed. Rick's team also tested every cable run with a Fluke tester and verified that each run was properly shielded and capable of 10 Gbps performance. They were also attentive to the smaller cosmetic detail requests, including cable color, outlet style, and the specific placement of wall jacks. Although just about everything is expensive nowadays, the pricing for the scope and quality of work was reasonable. It was a pleasure working with these guys -- I'd definitely hire them again for any future data cabling, audio, camera installation work.
