The pedicure began nicely but the person doing it for me had issues with communicating... I asked for a colour and it seemed they were out of it in regular polish. No one explained this to me and instead just replaced it with something else with no notifcation.... I specifically asked before continuing with my manicure if the shop had silver heart gems to achieve a look I showed in a photo. I was given an okay. When it came time I was told no by another person (I believe it was amber who I requested originally in my appt but did not get) and then tried to get me to accept a drawn heart even tho that is not what I wanted... after trying to make me accept painted heart and the woman continually scolded the man who was orignally working on me (clearly someone new? Or inexperienced?) Which made me pretty uncomfortable in its own right... they finally retrieved their various gems and such to show me... I settled because I was at the point i had no choice but to take it or leave with nothing... I dont even feel.happy taking photos of my nails... theyre a mess... paint on my skin... uneven cut... and I was knicked and caused bleeding on 3 different fingers in the process... you can see it on 2 of the 3. The 3rd is covered by the polish that was painted onto my skin and it is hurting me trying to peel it off... This cost $120. Though Kieu is still getting established, the quality of her work remains A1! And as a matter of fact, she's gotten some cool gadgets in her new space that make removing old polish much easier, which shortens and improves the overall process. My gel manicure started peeling after only about six days. I called on the EIGHTH DAY after my appointment to let them know and ask for it to be redone. They told me they only guarantee gel manicures for one week. Fine, but I was calling literally one day after that period because the manicure had already started peeling before the week was even over. They offered to schedule the repair only if I came back within two weeks of my original appointment. I explained that I had meetings and could not make it within that specific timeframe, and asked to schedule it a little later. They refused and told me they would not fix it if the appointment was more than two weeks after my original service. How does that make any sense? I reported the problem immediately. The fact that I physically couldn't come in during their narrow timeframe somehow became my problem. What made it worse was the attitude. The woman kept saying she needed to speak with my technician and questioning everything in a way that made me feel like she thought I was lying. Over a $40 to $50 manicure? Seriously? A gel manicure should not start peeling after six days, and a loyal customer who reports the problem right away should not have to argue just to get it fixed. Nice technicians are great, but terrible customer service and refusing to stand behind your work will absolutely make customers go somewhere else.
