The tech tried to fix it and then told me to go to the ER the next day if my nails still hurt or started to swell. Ummmmm, okay...... Also, the prices vary from day to day - the same exact service varies between $40 and $50 depending on who is at the register. The manager is always lurking around and is not friendly. Went in today for a mani-pedi and last minute decided to add a Brazilian. I was horrified to realize that my technician used the same stick to preform my entire wax, completely cross contaminating the pot of wax and putting me at risk of exposure to whoever else that wax has been used on and doubled dipped in. Went in for a dip manicure and the technician put gel as the topcoat, rather than dip. She leaned over to the girl next to her and said "need to make money" and pointed to the gel bottle. Dip usually lasts me 3-4 weeks when done properly. This lasted 4 days. Not to mention they cut me in two places, both of which are still not healed. I went in for a pedicure. While most of the staff did seem friendly and I enjoyed a relaxing soak, my nail tech was rough with my feet. I came in with a small sore on the bottom of my foot, which i warned her about, and today its worse. I also now have a small cut on the top of one of my toes and it stings. I've been going here for years, as have my sisters and mother and we are always satisfied and treated very kindly.

My review seems to echo previous reviews. The salon is aesthetically nice, but the staff is unfriendly with the exception of one or two people. Recently, I got a mani-pedi and I couldn't wait to get out of there. I felt like the tech who did my mani-pedi had an air of being annoyed at having to do my nails. The prices are good, but there is an undercurrent of snooty attitudes there that I personally do not want to contend with. I have been to Happy Nails twice and both times I had this feeling. I won't be going back. I usually go to another salon but went here at my daughter's request. I have been to several salons in the area and they have the worst customer service. read more

Came in on a rainy day after work. I was greeted with smile and and sat on the chair for pedicure. It was so relaxing and massage I received was the best thing that happened after work! I was a frequent customer at the Happy Nails in Lahaska and loved it. Always felt I had time to relax and enjoy my pedicures. When I moved to Doylestown I was pleased to see they had a Happy Nails. I've been twice and each time my pedicure was rushed. I'd hoped the first time was a fluke, sadly it was not. I'd have to be pretty desperate to return. The tools also aren't properly cleaned. I'm no nail tech but have been in a enough salons to know what to expect as far as cleanliness goes. Staff is nice enough, but the juice isn't worth the squeeze at this joint. They are extremely rude here and they lie about the prices all the time. One day it's one price the next it's different for the same service. They just tried to charged me 70 dollars for 1 adult pedicure and a child pedicure and manicure. I looked at the prices online and said that wasn't right. She did take some money off after seeing that I wasn't being fooled and looked on the paper that showed different prices. This place has always done a shitty job but are usually resonably priced and have some nice workers. Now they have gone down hill and they are scammers. My friend and I went to get manicures the day before Christmas, so we were expecting busy. We walked in and put our names down. We sat for an hour as people who wrote their names after us were called and had their manicures done first. At one point they called my friends name and then said "No sit back down." I understand they were busy, but as I said people who came after us were being severed first. We went to the counter to ask if we were still written and the woman ran over and was very rude to us. She sat us at manicure station, but it wasn't until twenty minutes later that my friend's manicure was started and 10 minutes after that mine was started. I got a regular gel manicure that I have gotten there before, but the woman who did mine rushed through it. She rushed through soaking my nails and cutting my cuticles by not soaking and just using an electric remover that was not as efficient as I was looking for. She then cut one of my nails so short it bled- a lot. She went as fast as she could with all layers and didn't even give me the two UV lights for an even drying of the nails. You can see the messed up strokes in my nails and they chipped the day after it was done. My friend had a nice woman who worked hard on her nails, that is why I did not give one star. I was beyond disappointed in my experience due to the fact that my manicure was rushed through since they did not have enough staff working for the amount of people who came in. I have been to this salon many times and my most recent expericence is the only truly negative one I have had, but due to small errors before with me or people I have gone with/heard negative things from I will most likely not return for a while. read more

I had to go back the day after I got a gel manicure because my thumb had peeled off. All my gel nails peeled off my fingers in the same week I had it done. The manicure stations were not cleaned when my daughter and I got there. Her's had nail dust and mine had an empty CANDY BAR WRAPPER on it. The least they could do is wipe it down with some alcohol. My daughter was afraid she could of got an infection, since that was someone else's nail remnants. The woman I had for a pedicure used a pumice exfoliator on my legs and feet as if she was trying to grate them to death. I know I had some dry skin, but it was not that bad to where I needed that much work. I was left with bloody cuts that have lasted until now, which has been 8 days since the pedicure. I had heard some good reviews from people, I expected a good experience but instead I got a really unenjoyable and lacking manicure and pedicure experience. It seemed like they were very understaffed which led them to leave out doing things like cleaning the manicure stations. Will not be coming back, I can find another salon somewhere else with better practices. read more

Went there this evening. Called a head to check wait time and make appointment. It doesnt mayter if you make appt- they go by first come. My nail tech was 'Al'. She was very rough w me, you could tell she hated her job. She would lift and throw down my legs during a pedicure. She even moved the chair so forward I could barley prevent anyone from seeing up my dress. Even the nail tech working next to us was giving me the "im sorry" look. It was the fastest pedicure I ever had- I asked her to get my nails as short as possible and she just ignored me. When I said the same for my manicure, she clipped one finger so short i nearly bled. Only giving a 2 instead of 1 because my nails came out pretty decent. But this staff is just so cold. They sat me in a chair and someone came up about 5-10 minutes later. Didn't say hello or how are you, just grabbed my hand and started working. She was moving so fast that the electric filing thing they use for acrylics were burning my hands. This never happens to me and I get acrylics refilled all the time. I didn't say anything at first, but she hurt my one nail and I pulled away. She laughed and I said "yeah you're hurting me". She just continued to do the same thing. I felt rushed the entire time I was there. Their prices are also awful and subjective. They did nothing fancy to my nails--just a refill and regular polish. Their price book says "17+" for a refill and they charged me $25! For a REFILL. If you're not an acrylic person, most refills are $15. I didn't see the price book until I got home, but I think it's so wrong to just pick a price. I would understand if I had a broken nail or asked for designs, but I didn't. When she told me the price I even said, "really? That much for a refill?" And she just smiled and said yeah. Now it's less than a week later and my acrylics are already coming up and nail polish is chipping. I will never return. read more

This is my reply to their offer, by the way, was over three months after my post: Your offer is much too late! As stated, I had been to your salon multiple times. Why, I ask you, would I come back? To give a discount and to have me call the salon, ask for two certain people, one of which probably owns the salon, and give a discount code, is ludicrous, if you had been providing exemplary service all the while, this would not be an issue now! On a side note, after receiving your offer, I went to your salon, just to see if anything had changed. Of course you did not know I was there, how could you (I did not set an appointment)? NOTHING had changed! Perhaps, instead of giving discounts to angered people and putting a name to the face of angered clients by using the discount code and contacting two certain people, you will CHANGE your business practice! went in for an acrylic removal and gel manicure...first nail tech tried ripping the acrylic off with nail clippers rather than soaking. she tried pinching my nails from the middle and ripping them up, creating holes all the way down to my natural nails. it completely destroyed them. they were long and healthy but after she did that my nails were chipped, broken and half the layers of my nail were gone. the only way to save my nails was for them to be cut super short, even shorter than my fingers themselves. she didn't even say sorry and i was simply transferred to another tech who tried her best to salvage my nails but they were too far gone after they were destroyed by the first one. never going there again. read more

First time and last time I go there. I got a full gel set and it almost seemed like it was the ladies first time ever doing nails. During this she turned around blew her nose and then proceeded to grab my hands without getting up and washing her hands. In the middle of my manicure she had to leave so I had to go to another woman in hopes she was gonna notice how jacked my nails were and fix them.. instead she just continued the jacked job.
