I was able to walk in for a pedicure on a Monday afternoon with my mom. We both got a pedicure. Shout out to Leo who did an amazing job. Quickly, I was sat in a spa massage chair and the water was perfectly warm (it was nice that he asked if it was ok). He really took his time with massaging my legs with lotion when he was done and put a warm towel on my legs. He perfectly clip, polished, and put an overcoat of polish on my nails. This salon has a lot of mixed reviews and I suppose it depends on your technician, but I was impressed. My gel manicure lasted a full 4 weeks with no lift or peeling. I was also impressed by some of the options for the deluxe spa pedicure and I think I may return for that. The only criticisms I have are that even though you couldn't tell from further away, my topcoat had this weird bubble from being applied kind of sloppily and my nails smelled really weird after I'd left -- like.... Very chemically in a way they'd never smelled before with any manicure I'd ever received.... But overall, I was satisfied! read more

This salon misinformed us about the price for French mani/pedi. The owner told us that there was no extra charge, so when we came back for french, we expected no extra charge. However once it was time for payment, they charged extra 5 dollars for pedi and 8 dollars for gel mani. The other owner said that we were wrong and that we had to pay the extra money. Also my mom had to wait an extra hour while her feet was soaked in the water before getting service. People who came after us received service before her despite the fact that her feet was soaked in the water for an entire hour..... I have been to this salon before and have had ok experience each time. This time, I got a light pink and had to ask my lady to put an extra coat on for my pedicure because it wasn't even. She didn't give me a hard time but I could tell it bothered her. My toes look great after the extra coat. Next, I went to the other chair for a gel manicure. She did 3 coats and I asked her to do another because it wasn't even. She gave me an attitude and told me she already did 3 coats. My nails look horrible and I am going to fix them when I get home. Their standards should be raised and I am unsure how she could send me home with such an uneven and awful manicure. One star because spa is clean. I came to the salon for a gel refill. My nails where very long and only a small amount to be trimmed. What I received are tiny nails with gel on my surrounding fingers that is pulling my skin off and polish that does not fully cover. 2 days later my skin and nails are sore and open. Cost $37 plus tip totaling $46. I am now going to have to pay someone else for a full set once my fingers heal. read more

This place has gone down hill. When they first opened up it was just a couple. Male owner and his wife with a few other staff. Now they have multiple people that don't speak any ENGLISH. They are RUDE. I went to get a refill and pedicure last weekend. The lady doing my nails messed up multiple times had to take my polish off each time. She was gripping my fingers so hard. Burnt me with the nail grinder. THEN!!! When I went for my pedicure the massage chair was broken. So I told the lady it was broke and she said she knew and wasn't moving my chair because "water already full" when it came time for a tip I gave $6. Which was $3 for each lady and she wasn't pleased. Gave me a dirty look and with attitude said "have good day bye" Yesss definitely bye. I will not be returning.!!!! read more

My absolute favorite nail salon in the area. I live about 20 minutes from Joy in an area that's saturated with nail salons, but no matter where I am, I'll always drive to Joy to get my nails done. I've had my nails done by almost every nail tech and haven't had a complaint about any of them. Each nail tech takes the time to make sure you walk out satisfied and happy with your services. For me, I'm a nail biter and have small nail beds to begin with but I love my acrylics. In my experience, acrylics tend to last me right around a week before they fall off. But whatever magic Joy uses makes my acrylics last 2 weeks. Bottom line, their prices are great, their customer service is great (each visit comes with a complimentary 2 or 3 massage) and their selection of polishes is unbeatable. Highly recommend! read more

Just got a gel French manicure and a regular pedicure. It is a very clean and nice looking salon! I was greeted right away by a nice gentleman and then told to select my toenail color from the wall...once I finally decided (they have a pretty big selection!!) I got my pedi. The seats are comfy massage chairs which I loved! Like I said everything was very clean....they even had disposable liners for the tubs. They have to take the liner out to drain the tub though so I think that kind of defeats the purpose but they are trying! Lol it was very nice and relaxing overall. Then I got my mani. Pretty standard stuff!! My technician was very quiet which was more than okay with me!!! I'm not a small talk person so I really liked that. I used to get my nails done here because in all honesty, their acrylic lasts a LONG time. I haven't returned after the man that works there embarrassed me. Everything was cool except for the fact that a few of my nails were crooked, which is fine it happens. I asked them to fix it and they tried but it was still not straight. When I told him he insinuated that my finger was crooked LOL I said sir I never had this problem anywhere else, and he goes "so what you saying we can't do nail here?". Smh the whole experience was just embarrassing and for some reason I still tipped after that. Now I'm trying to find a salon with a full set that stays on as long, but hopefully with nicer staff read more

I won't be back. While some of your employees are friendly, others are not. The woman who I believe owns the saloon is miserable. She never smiles, didn't say hello. I guess you have to be part of the "click" for her to do so because I watched her smile and speak with other people. I am so frustrated with this spa. My nail salon was closed due to Covid so I went to Joy last Wednesday night (1/5/22). I specifically asked the girl not to file my nails as I had already done it and not to rough the top of my nails to remove the gel polish as they are long and are my natural nail. She kept doing it anyway stating that it is the way THEY get the nail polish off and simply soaking in alcohol will take too long and I was getting agitated. She was rough and extremely nasty. I have kept long natural nails for many years and they never break but within 2 days of leaving this salon, 3 nails broke because she had weakened the nail by roughing the old gel polish off which I asked numerous times for her NOT to do it. This place is the worst nail salon ever! They do what they think is right and not what the customer is actually asking for. If you are thinking of using this salon because your current salon is unavailable at the moment...DON'T!!! They are rude, make you wait forever, even when you have an appointment, do a terrible job and treat the customers terribly. The woman tried to make me feel like she was doing me a favor. I waked in to this place and was impressed. It reminded me of my old nail salon in Philly. Looked clean, up to date, and the nail polish was organized! Unfortunately my mani didn't go to well though. They tugged at my cuticles which was really uncomfortable and I hope to never experience that again. I wanted straight nails with rounded corners... I got slanted nails with super sharp corners..ouch! When I dried my nailed they gave a massage - 5 seconds of kneading my shoulders and a few pats on my back haha. As I drove home, I scraped the sloppy nail polish off my skin to make my mani look cleaner. Honestly, don't know if I'll be back. They seemed busy, but they were not capable of handling it all. I decided to give this place a try because of a sign that said gel mani $22. They were super busy at 6 on a Thursday so I put my name in and came back at 6:30. The woman who did my nails did them so quickly and carelessly And was also running around the salon in between painting each nail? After it was done it looked somewhat sloppy but I told myself it was fine since it was so cheap. I jus hoped they would last long. It's 3 days later on Sunday and my nails are chipping already. This little gem was a lifesaver. I was in town for a wedding and needed an emergency pedi. They took me right away and the prices were so reasonable. I went with the $35 Deluxe Spa Pedicure and I was not disappointed. I'm used to spending $65+ back in California for a similar service so I was extremely impressed. My nail technician was sweet and made sure I was comfortable. I also loved how they used liners for each spa to ensure that everything was sanitary and the shop itself was very clean and bright. This is by far the worst Nail salon I've ever been to. I'm not sure the name of the lady who did my nails, but she was very unprofessional. I went to get a full set, and she cut my fake nails supershort and asked me if that length was OK. She did not even give me a chance to answer how long I want the nails to be. If I wanted super short nails, why would I be getting a full set? I would just keep my natural nails. And then she did the coffin shape completely messed up, my nails were stilleto shape than anything. My mom and I have been coming here for YEARS and have had a positive experience for the most part. There are a few nail techs who I avoid but this past visit I had will be my last. I asked for a French gel manicure and did not like the super pink base they had. The nail tech insisted this was the one to use, and put it on my fingers and it was horrible with my tanner skin tone. I asked her to take it off but they would not because it was gel and so I opted to just use a solid color over it and skip the French manicure. Solid color, not at all sheer and STILL this is the most uneven manicure I have ever had. My left hand and my right hand look like they're two different colors because she was heavy handed on one side and heavier on the other. You can literally see the brush strokes and when I asked her to fix it the amount of attitude I got was unacceptable, considering that this is a service that I am paying for. I've never been so unhappy with a manicure in my life. Meanwhile my moms first nail tech was super rough and cut her up when cutting her cuticles. Such a shame because this used to be my favorite nail salon. I will not be back. read more

I am a Loyal Client at Joy since their beginning, and have taken friends there and they enjoyed the experience as well. My friends were just as impressed as I am with the Friendliness of the Staff, as well as the cleanliness, and fees. They actually sterilize the instruments here! I have been to every Salon in the area and slightly out of it. None were as concerned with Infection Control as Joy is. Having worked in a hospital for many years, this is important to me. They do not just put instruments in, but they also turn the autoclave on! Others in this area put them in, do not turn it on, then someone else goes to it, and takes dirty instruments out, and uses them on a Customer UGH! People who work here are not friendly at all. Only person who speak English is a man who is the owner. They speak Chinese to each others and and do not speak to you at all. They put my feet in the water and made me wait there while they tend the new walk in customers not to loose businesses even though they are short handed. They charged me $5 even though they told me there is no extra charge to remove gel color for returning customers. Their job is sloppy and uneven. This place is the worst nail salon I ever been to. I've been getting my nails done for 20yrs now and this place is among the best! I got a gel French manicure and a spa pedicure and they were careful and took their time and had a HUGE selection of colors. Unlike some places where you are rushed to select colors they allow you to sit for your pedi and they bring wheels to you with all of the colors they offer so you can take your time and pick. The designs offered looked like a lot of the pedicures you find on Pinterest that a lot of salons aren't up to date on or don't feel like doing because they are time consuming. I was skeptical based on reviews, but gave it a try since place is new and 2 negative of 7 total reviews were from the same party. Very clean, they use liners for pedi tub, my girl (Amy I think) really took her time and on a sunday afternoon i did not feel rushed at all. Place is big. Was not packed but all ~6 girls working were w a client. People kept coming in while i was there. A couple people came back to fix chipped gel, which they gaurantee for 1 week, they took them w no problem. Ive done gel alot of times, and not all polish is created equal, so i dont think its a reflection on workmanship. Will definately come again. Maybe best in warminster! read more
