I scheduled both over the phone with their friendly staff. I found parking on the main street, but you can find parking easy behind their building in a municipal lot. The front waiting room/retail area was clean, bright and welcoming. My first trip was a reflexology session in the main cave for a foot massage. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical of the cave thinking it was gimmicky, but it was very relaxing and the therapist did a great job on loosening me up and hitting all my pressure points! I didn't have much drainage in my sinuses like I was hoping, but everyone's different. It would be nice to bring along the wife to have a session in the cave together. On my most recent visit I had a salt stone massage with CDB oil in a regular massage room, but they have a salt stone inside. They add CDB oil for muscle relief and hot stones on the legs. I would have liked more pressure, but I still felt great afterwards. I can't say whether the CDB oil did much for me, but that was the first time I had ever had hot stones applied during a massage and I want more! Afterwards I felt loose, refreshed and very relaxed. I expressed my concerns about my hair and what sort of hair I had which was met with understanding and reassuring answers, so I booked an appointment! Today when I walked in I was greeted by, literally, everyone working there. For someone who is always nervous about getting my haircut this was amazing! Gabby was my stylist who listened to what I wanted and even went as far as to talking me through how to style my hair after I leave the salon. Needless to say I could say so many glowing things but I'll keep it to this; this salon is a hidden gem that is worth a worlds worth of praise. AVOID - They'll nickel-and-dime you while smiling to your face! Let me preface this by saying I've been to Q Nails & Spa three times before, and it was fine. Clean shop, polite staff, and the woman who trims my toenails is always lovely. But after today? Hard pass. Here's the story: I was walking by Q Nails and thought, "Why not stop in and get my toenails cut?" Easy, right? It's always been $10, and I leave a $3 tip. Simple math, no drama. Plus, every other nail salon in my neighborhood charges the same. So I settle in, my usual nail tech is as sweet as ever, and she even remembers our last chat. All's well--until it's time to pay. She asks me how much tip I'm leaving, I say $3, and then she drops this bomb: "That will be $18." Excuse me, what? When I point out that it's always been $10, she consults another employee in Korean and then cheerily informs me, "We've raised our prices." Okay, fine. Price increases happen. But maybe let your loyal customers know ahead of time? Instead, it felt sneaky and transactional, like they were banking on me not noticing until it was too late to walk out with my freshly clipped toenails intact. I told her I'd pay the $15 (grudgingly), but I wouldn't be coming back. She smiled, said, "Thank you, it was nice to meet you," and that was that. No apology, no attempt to smooth things over. Here's the kicker: If they'd handled it differently--like honoring the old price just this once and explaining the increase--they could've kept me as a loyal customer. Instead, they lost a regular over $5. Five. Dollars. Bottom line: Q Nails might be clean, and the staff might be pleasant, but they're clearly not above trying to squeeze a few extra bucks out of unsuspecting customers. Save your money and your sanity--there are plenty of other salons in the area that won't pull this nonsense. read more

I visited Q Nail & Spa based on a friend's recommendation. It was a bit far from my house (about 40 minutes), but I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! I walked in and was welcomed by Jane, who is the new owner. I wanted to get a manicure and pedicure and knew I wanted some sort of red, but I wasn't really sure about the exact color. Jane was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out a shade of red that ended up being a perfect color for my nails. Vicky did my manicure, and she was absolutely amazing. She made some jokes, made sure I was comfortable, and did everything flawlessly. We moved on to the pedicure, and everything was amazing with the pedicure too. I got the extra scrub (I forgot what it's called) but my skin felt really exfoliated and soft afterwards, and I highly recommend it. The massage by Vicky was great as well. It's been about three weeks since I visited Q Nails, and the colors are still perfect besides the normal nail growth. I got a little bow design on my toes, and they're still really cute and didn't fade a bit. The salon is under new management, and Jane is doing a great job keeping the salon clean and professional. Everyone is really nice, and I'm extremely satisfied with the service I received. The best part? It's really inexpensive! The prices you pay here are below the average in the area, and yet you get high quality service that you would expect at higher-end salons. I had thought that the quality was going to be just okay, but I was proven wrong over and over again. I would definitely go back every time I'm back home and would recommend it to anyone in the area! read more

I used to come here often, the service is usually good and the owner is very friendly. I came to get a pedicure, and my tech was an old woman I never saw before. She started to talk about me in another language to the woman beside her. I could just tell they were conversing about me because of their tone, body language, etc. My tech was rude. She was exfoliating my foot really roughly. I told her that she was being too rough, and that it hurt. All she did was pout at me in a condescending way. She then turned to the tech she was talking to earlier because apparently she didn't understand what I was saying. She did not care at all. Also the techs do not use gloves when they do pedicures which is unsanitary. read more

I never write reviews....but they are so great here I just had to take the time to share. First, unlike the nail salon across the street -- this is a peaceful place! The manicurists all take their time and get it right. The owner is the sweetest woman, and she does a great job shaping eyebrows. She is really a perfectionist, and I always leave happy. Also, massage chairs give a good, hard massage, which I love. They keep me coming back again and again. Don't waste your money across the street! Jane the owner is wonderful, so accommodating, friendly and really top notch in customer service. She does a great job on my gel nails and they always look amazing. Jane's waxing is great as well and she is so meticulous about the finished product, I am always so satisfied. Loved the friendliness of the staff. The manicure I received was ice but not the very best. It may have been the color I chose, I am not sure I love the color. Anyway, they gave me a good deal for my 8 year old daughter, she loves the chair for pedicures and the water for her toes but really doesn't need a full pedicure. They are very understanding and let her get just a "polish change" for fingers and toes but met her feel like she was getting the full service of a pedi!! read more
