I never feel rushed and she always makes sure I'm comfortable and relaxed, offering water or coffee. I love how she uses fresh oranges to scrub my feet and the paraffin dip is the best. I sat in the massage chair, contractions and all, getting pampered 100%! 1 person gave me a mani/massage and the other worked on my pedi. Pink regular polish. The receptionist helped keep my toddlers calm with a lollipop while they finished up my mani pedi. Don't think I'll be going back, i asked for the middle package and i didn't get two services listed on the one for $54 for mani / pedi then the lady doing my toes was rushed and didn't even clip the dry skin around my toe nail, then she helped the girl doing my massage on my arms, she only did a quick rub down on my arm So it wasn't an equal massage for both arms, i get it it was 4:45 when i walked in and they closed at 6pm If you can't do what i paid for then they should of told me, there was no time, instead of rushing. read more

I came back today, After a great experience here- bringing one of my friends to treat ourselves to gel pedis about three weeks ago. The gentleman that took care of me made sure that the massage chair was on, I got a full leg and foot massage my gel pedi looked great. Today was a very different story. I had a 10 AM appointment. I was very excited to treat myself after working a number of hours on my feet in retail during this crazy holiday time. The technician took care of me today was rushed, she was very rough to the point where I got a Charlie horse in both of my feet for how hard she was holding and working on my toes. She gave me a partial massage from my ankle to my knee, while I was waiting For my toes to soak to get the old gel off. I never got a foot massage, I have quite a bit of gel and nail polish on my toes, as well as portions of my toes that don't even have gel or polish on them. I am extremely disappointed today especially when I wanted a day to pamper myself and feel good. Will not be back and definitely not worth the $40 for my gel pedi. read more

I should have looked up the reviews before coming to this place. I just got a trim and polish change on my toes. It looks awful. She just filled them straight across so the edges are sharp and ugly looking and some are crooked. The polish doesn't cover the cut edge of the nail, she only put one coat of color, and there is polish on my skin in several spots. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one is because the lady I spoke to on the phone and who greeted me was very sweet. read more

This is the ugliest nails that I've ever had and they charged me $55????? Literally don't go here they actually suck so bad. My nails are literally in so much pain because of how badly she over drilled my nails. They only try to go quickly here and they charged me extra to take off the acrylics I had but they didn't soak them they ripped them off and took about 2 layers of my actual nail with it so now my nails are in a lot of pain. They were literally drilling almost through my nail and into the skin they don't care what so ever about doing a good job. read more

These are not people with appointments. Just walk ins. My daughters waited an hour before anyone even started working on their nails. Meanwhile they continued to help other walk ins. To start off on a positive note, they were accommodating because I had my 3yo daughter with me. The acrylic I had done is bumpy and I didn't notice it because I rushed out after being there for 1.3 hrs. I immediately called back to see if they would fix it. I used to go to Happy Nails every two weeks when I first moved to Ladera back in 2011. Over the years, I just feel like the customer service has become a lot more poor and the actual manis/pedis have just gotten worse each time I've gone. I gave up coming to this location a few months ago after I had two experiences where I left the salon bleeding in multiple places and I also ended up with an infection on one of my fingers from my cuticles being cut too closely. Strangely, I ended up at the Happy Nails on Crown Valley right next to Albertsons (without realizing that it was the sister salon this one) and had a much better experience. read more

Walked in with my friend at 9:51 am. First ones in the location. They rushed us into the chairs. Didn't fill my water basin all the way, had to request that they finish filling the basin several times. Snapped angrily at me when I had to request the menu 4 time and only gave it to me when I looked for it on my own. My friend starts getting her pedicure and my lady sits down. Clips the cuticles on TWO of my toes then stops and says an apointment just walked in and someone else will take care of me. I sat there for 40 minutes waiting and nothing. Friend is done with her pedicure and someone walks in and says they'll start. I had to explain that no I'm not getting anything anymore as my friend is half done and we walked in together so we will be leaving together. Friend decided not to get her manicure because of this. Don't bother. This place was gross. Their seemingly untrained personnel was worse. So I grab a coffee from a nearby coffee shop and put it on the armrest where I can comfortably grab it while getting my nails done. The woman who is preparing my foot-bath come over and moves my drink to the awkwardly placed cup holder that's almost behind me. Another woman sits down and starts working on my feet. She grabs tools from a glass jar that the woman next to her had just put in (maybe sat for 5 min). I looked at the liquid in the glass jar and there was white stuff floating around (yea, I know I should have just left, but I figured if it was alcohol it would kill everything). So she takes the tools and literally starts DIGGING the skin out from the side of my big toe. I had to tell her that skin is SUPPOSED to be there. I brought a book with me so I could get some reading done but that was difficult when people were literally YELLING over top of me, super annoying! Don't waste your time here. Apparently there's two happy meals in the same location so I am writing a review on both so everyone understands that this is not a place to go to if you really care about your nail design or your nail shape or customer service. They're very basic and do the bare minimum. It became very frustrating having to explain the nail shape I wanted over and over. I got to the point where I grab the nail filer and demonstrated well I want it on my left thumb. Even then she was clueless and filed my nails too short uneven and not to my desire. She did not clean underneath the nails as well. Overall it was a difficult experience because even after my nails were done I showed her how uneven they are and she gave me a blank stare. I love this place. It deserves 5 stars, not 3. You really can't please everyone. Prices are decent and fair for South County. I pay $30 for a pedicure with callus removal and 10 minute massage. The worst experience Ever!! I got my nails done by Mike he was so rude to me and didn't listen on how I wanted my nails done. I ended up filing, shaping my nails myself. He kept talking under his breath & to top it off he kept arguing with me. It got to the point were I wanted to walk out.He was still trying to charge me full price for unfinished nails.
