I've been here twice, first time with Bryan who I loved. He was really sweet and tried to keep the integrity of my natural nails as much as possible, my only complaint was that the gel polish started coming off after a week. The second time I went to Chloe based on her great reviews, and left with painful nails that looked nothing like the inspo pic I showed. I left with a bleeding cuticle and my nails feel like they're about to come off my fingers. There's a lot of polish left on my skin and the application is uneven. She was really harsh with my nails while filing and took off a lot of skin. They also don't have nail gems, which is pretty standard for salons nowadays. Wow hands down one of the best places I've ever been to for a manicure and pedicure. I originally came in wanting a builder gel and pedicure but after talking to the nail technician Ben he told me about TAP gel and steered me away from builder gel that was damaging my nail plate. He pointed out that my nails were lifting and said that I would do better with the tap hybrid gel. I ask and compared the tap gel vs hard builder gel vs soft builder gel vs gel x nails and he said that tap gel was the best and cheaper!! He was very knowledgeable and honest man which I really appreciated! On top of that his work is BEAUTIFUL!!! Even better than the reference picture! I told him to freestyle the thumbs since there weren't pictured in the reference photo and those turned out to be my favorite ones! I got my pedicure from Sara and hands down one of the best pedicures I've had! She really went in on the callouses and dry cuticles that I had but did it PAIN FREE!! I can't tell you how many times I've flinched from a nail technician being too tough on the delicate skin around the cuticle and the STING from spraying alcohol on them but today, Sara was diligent, efficient, careful, and extremely detailed oriented while doing an amazing job. She is an absolute PRO!! I also noticed that all of the metal tools were in a sterile blue packaging so they also take hygiene very seriously which is huge for me. My friend and I came in an hour before they closed and we expressed that it's okay if that can't do both of us today or if there was only enough staff to do only manicure not mani/pedi but they were able to make it happen for us! Very grateful for the kind staff at The Nail Fix and Sara for staying late to give me my pedicure! We will definitely be repeat customers!! My daughter and I have been coming to Bryan for a few months and he is amazing. Our nails never looked so great. Then 2 weeks ago I brought my daughter in for a new full set but Bryan wasn't available so Cindy did them. They looked good. One broke today so I brought my daughter in to get it fixed and to get a fill even though it hadn't been the full 2 weeks. Bryan was not available so another gentlemen is doing them. He says, she needs a full set because her nails are lifting. I said she just got a full set less than two weeks ago. He said well I can give her a fill but if they come off it's not my fault. I said they must not have been done right by Cindy because we never have an issue when Bryan does them. He Just kept saying it won't be my fault over and over. Awful experience. After making an appointment, I had to wait 35 minutes (walk ins were helped quicker), but no biggie. When I was finally assigned a nail tech for my manicure, she was really rough and cut three of my nails to the point of bleeding. They were really hurting throughout the appointment and I kept telling her that. Then she put pink all over the nails, and when I saw that she had done that, I told her I wanted French not pink (for the third time) she had to start all over. This is after I've already been there for an hour and a half. Then I go to pay, and the price is astronomical. i asked why the price was different than the price on the menu board, and the receptionist said "oh we changed prices".
