When I went as a first-time customer to this nail salon, they were nice and did my nails exactly how I wanted. However, the second time I booked with them for a manicure and pedicure, the two girls were extremely rude to me. The girl doing my nails was putting fake nails that were too large for my size, and when I told her I didn't want them to look chunky, she spoke negatively about me in her language with the other girl who was doing my pedicure. I didn't like the result of my nails, but I didn't make a big deal about it since I had my kids with me. That same night, the large thumb nail she put on was hurting my skin because it was too big and the edges weren't trimmed properly. It hurt so much that I had to take it off. I called them to explain what happened and how unhappy I was with the result, especially because one of the nails was causing me pain. I asked if I could come in to have another technician fix my nails. They booked me with my preferred technician, but when I arrived, they told me she wasn't there and that I would need to come back another time. I was frustrated because I had two kids with me, and I asked why they booked me with her if she wasn't working. They brought in another technician to fix only the nail that was hurting me and left the others as they were. She did it with a lot of attitude, and when she was done, she told me, "Check before you leave." I said, "Yes, it's fine, whatever." She then turned her face away and said, "Have a good day," with a lot of attitude. I'm really unhappy with their service. They're unprofessional, speak in their own language and laugh at you, and don't seem to care about their customers. read more

Appointments do not seem to have any meanings for this team. I have scheduled multiple appointments with the technician who I understand is also a partial owner Phoebe. She has repeatedly been late and on one occasion she did not even show up after 45 minutes !!! the quality of the service itself is ok yet the attitude presented is as the clients are being done favor, rather than receiving a paid service. This the approach is off-putting , instead of apologizing, or addressing the issue , Phoebe is rude, which further escalate the situation . overall, the experience reflects poorly on the business. I stopped by this place last Saturday last-minute because I was running late for an event and just needed a basic mani and pedi--big mistake. The service was terrible. The staff seemed inexperienced, and the overall quality of the work was poor. They used dried-out nail polish and tried to smooth it over with a clear top coat (which only made it worse). And surprisingly, they don't even carry OPI polish--that should have been my cue to walk out. If want to go there, you're taking a big risk...good luck!! read more

This place is seriously amazing. It was recommended by a friend so I decided to try it out today before my anniversary coming up. Deena did a gel set on me which I'd never had before + she explained the process, helped me decide on that so it looked more natural and she checked in with me at multiple points to see if she was on the right track. Kristin did my pedicure and was really sweet. The wrong color went on my toes by accident and she fixed it no problem. Overall, 5 for sure. I wouldn't go back. I got gel X with one polish color, no designs or anything and I was charged $60 which was way too much for how simple my nails were. In addition, the guy doing my nails gave me a hard time about wanting them shorter and I ended up with nails much longer than I wanted because he just didn't want to make them shorter. They don't know how to prioritize their customers. I stayed 1.5 hours here. I had 3 people who worked on my nails and they all said they could do the simple nail design, but as soon as their less melanated clients came into the salon, they stopped working on my nails to go tend to them. One lady even had a bottle of wine and music played ONLY for her. I'm disgusted with the owner's treatment and I don't recommend coming here unless you want to feel like you're walking into a sweat shop but Ladera Ranch style. very unfriendly staff here. they used very dirty nail file tools. salon was very dirty. work was just ok and overpriced. however worst of all is the attitude and service from the manager. she was hostile and because she was so unfriendly we won't return. manager is very nasty woman. wow. A few years ago this location changed owners. when the new owner came in. I saw she leaves a messy salon, towels on the ground, dirty tools and unkempt stations. the manager is an Asian woman older and short. The manicurist and pedicurist was fine, work was just alright but no issue. The manager however because of her attitude, this is not a place I want to drop $100 on nails. it's not relaxing here because of the owner. The old owners were great, and very friendly to customers. The new owner for last few years is totally crazy. She has mental health issues and needs a psych evaluation. I paid for my services and thanks the tech. The owner has severe behavioral and emotional issues. I had to say are you alright? You're being very rude. She screamed raised her voice and just had a breakdown at the business. But without any reason. she got very upset very fast. Breathing heavy and such. I think it's time for you to retire! Seems you don't want to be there. Very rude owner. Everyone else is friendly. What happened? Well my wife had a pedicure and asked for a manicure as well. She paid the pedicure and asked if any manicurists were available. the owner insisted she have a acrylics done and she wanted natural nails filed and painted. After the owner said no you have to have acrylics or get out we were confused by her behavior. a manicure is $25 and she was trying to sell my wife a full set of fake nails. We didn't want that. So after the pedicure was finished and paid for the manager then immediately power walked around the salon screaming get out you leave now. after paying and tipping and thanking our tech. What an ugly woman. It's free to be nice to customers. I've gone here for 10 years. I knew how the salon was kept before, it's been let go. I found a new salon that's clean that thanks me for my visit and the ending is smooth. my new nail tech is fabulous and we are so happy we found somewhere else that we are not having to deal with that nasty manager. The work was fine and we thanked our nail techs . This review is not to hammer the nail techs. I am writing this review so other customers coming here know that they need to have been warned about the managers behavior. Worst experience ever! I had an older lady assist with my pedicure the moment I sat down she began to tell me to do a more expensive pedicure. I told her twice I wanted the $30 but she kept pushing on the $50 dollar one. After she began to file my nails which she did poorly job... she barely touch my nails and did one 3 toes and told me to put my nails back in the water.. I got upset at this point. I left I don't recommend this place they aren't professional and they treat you as if they are doing you a favor. I went back the next day because I had dried acrylic under my nails and it was bothering me. She did a nice job so I made an appointment with her for my next visit. My appointment was at 10:00. They told me she wasn't there yet. I waited until 10:25 and left. I guess if you like walking in and don't care to have a specific tech work on your nails, then it's a fine place but if you value your time and want a specific tech don't bother coming here. I have been to this location many times but this time was not the best. A gentleman did my nails and he wasn't very nice or helpful. I got a dipped manicure and he put it on so thick that my thumb nails are hurting me. My nails are completely uneven. I pointed out a couple of times that it was uneven and he didn't try to fix it. I have been to this nail salon several times and it has been hit and miss. However today I am very irritated. I called for an appointment saying I could come at any time. I was told to come at 2 PM. Here it is 2:50 and I am leaving the salon with only my color removed. It was 40 minutes before I complained to the staff. They even had a lady that they took care of, that came in after me and said she had canceled her apt and would wait. I did tip the technician for removing my color as it wasn't her fault, but am irritated by the waste of my time. Very poor customer service. read more

Organic Nails is a great salon. I have been a patron of Organic Nails for years. It has a clean, sterile, and beautiful Spa-like atmosphere. The technicians, are friendly, trained, and usually do a great job.  However, this is the second time I've had a communication disconnect with nail professional due to language barrier.  Let me explain. I brought my own nail polish. When applying the polish to my first nail, I asked her if it was too thick. She did not respond. She did not seem to understand what I was saying. So I just let it go. Also, when she was done with preparing my nails, I was not asked  to wash my hands. I figured she knew what she was the nail professional, so I let it go. While my nails were drying, the manager presented the bill.  She  advised me that I was being charged $5 more for taking off the gel.  I told her that's fine.  But she never said anything the manicure was done.  I should have informed me before, not after my manicure. But I let it go....until I got home! I looked at my nails, and each and every nail is clumpy. Humm, it must have been the thick polish (that I brought it to my nail operator's attention right away). In addition, each nail is bumpy.  I attributed to her not asking me to wash my hands so all the gel materials did not come off properly. Communication is definitely extremely poor.  I will make sure that when I go to the salon,  I communicate with the person that speaks English before getting my nails done. I would have called management at salon, (instead of posting a mediocre review on Yelp), but I realize that management will not understand my complaints due to the language barrier. Hopefully management will call me to rectify this situation. In total I spent $26 and my nails look terrible. I decided to try this salon over the weekend for my Gelx set since its closer to home. I thought a nail salon in Ladera would be a no brainer. Boy was I wrong. I also took my 3 girls to get their nails done ($200 later). My one daughter's gel polish had pulled off the next day & within 24hours of my Gelx set, 2 nails had pulled off. I went back to get 2 nails fixed. Then a 3rd pulled off, so I went back to get that fixed. Now today, 4 days later a 4th has pulled off. My situation was badly handled. They also charge more although their website says $60 for Gelx & I called to confirm, they charged me $65 + $15 for Gel polish. so they charge $10 more than my other place. The girl also took 90 mins to do it. I work hard for my money & wasted $100 including tips. Going to just suck it up & go back to my regular place that is further away. She was rushing and incredibly aggressive throughout (scratched me multiple times). The worst part was how unhygienic the service was.
