Absolutely do not recommend this place. Went in to get my acrylics soaked off and instead of soaking them they one by one peeled and basically ripped them off. Left me in pain with two bloody nails half coming off on the corners and all the rest of my nails complete nubs. After telling them to stop and said I was finished and they tried to charge me still. I have never taken the time to leave a review before but this time I feel like I need to. Only giving 2 stars just because the gentleman was so nice. I quickly noticed that there were large bubbles in my gel nails. I showed the gentleman and he went back over it with color, but still allowing the bubbles to be seen under. The owner here is Extremely rude. She told me the price 3 times and I said yes, thinking I could add the tip on the receipt. When I asked she then yelled at me saying that she asked me if the amount was right. She ran my card again to tip and then yelled "That's it?" I made an appointment to get a full set and a pedicure. An older man did my pedicure and it turned out amazing. He was gentle and made sure everything was perfect. However, after that I went to get my full set of acrylics. The lady doing my nails was extremely nice. As she was doing my nails we talked and my nails were looking good as far as I could tell. Then once she painted them I realized how terrible they looked! The shape was awful and they weren't as close to my nail beds as they should've been. She then charged me $60. After I got home I was so sad. I ran my hands through my hair and a huge chunk of the gel nail polish has came straight off my nail only a couple hours after getting them done!!! This time I got a woman who barely spoke, and was in a hurry to get my feet done and out. The women seated in the pedicure chairs when I Arrived were still there when I left. The leg massage was almost nonexistent compared to the one the woman next to me was getting. And I noted everyone at the pedicure chairs had a bottle of water. I was not given one nor was one offered. This is the first time I have had a service such as this without leaving a tip. I didn't feel the service required anything extra. I came in with a friends and she opted for the normal $25 pedi...they put gel on her toes and charged her $45 for the standard $25 just bc of the gel...which btw she didn't ask for and questioned them when they started doing her toes. My pedicure was okay, I opted for the $45 one with callus treatments....honestly I don't even know if I got my callus treatment bc it seemed to be the usual routine. First time I went there was great I got a Pedi and I had A full set of acrylic nails put on and they were great but the acrylic nails started falling off two weeks after I got them. When I went to get a fill the lady was so distracted I kept asking her three times to shorten the nails and round them but she didn't get that and then when she painted my nails she did two coats but it looks like crap. This place has amazing customer service! It was pretty slow when I went in but the people who work there helped me immediately, got me seated, brought me water and snacks. They did a great job on my pedicure and my shellac nails looked great. The only bad thing, is the shellac only lasted 12-13 days before it started to peel up but my toes still look perfect after 2 weeks. I am new to Redding area and this is the first place I've tried for my nails. I walked in and asked if they even had time for a pedicure cuz it seemed super busy! But they said to sit in chair 10. Now the seating in this place is very strange to me! There are 12 chairs and 6 face the other 6. I was in town for business and as I live in the middle of nowhere with no salon services, I decided to book an appointment at Happy Nails for a manicure and pedicure. I arrived early and they were able to take me in right away. I was assigned Trina and I couldn't be happier with both my manicure and pedicure. We began with my feet and the set up was very clean and sanitary. Trina gave me an excellent, thorough, and very relaxing pedicure. I usually have a gel manicure. Trina explained about the dip manicure procedure and as I have been interested in trying this, I thought what the heck. The dip seems to be less harsh on the nails and skin than the gel. I was so pleased with the manicure portion of the treatment. I've never had a more thorough treatment of my cuticles. I got my nails done on Tuesday, and the nails came out great. Unfortunately, the nail tech who worked on me was sick and coughing throughout the entire service. Normally this wouldn't bother me, as he was wearing a mask and the salon does have the plexiglass panels in place for Covid regulations. I washed my hands very well after the service, but still got incredibly sick and have been out of work for the past 3 days. Businesses really need to be making sure their employees aren't working while sick, especially during a pandemic. The nails turned out well but I will not be giving them my business again, as trading $50 for a set of acrylics isn't worth missing multiple days of work for me. read more

I had two nails that were sore from injury and told him to be careful with them but he wasn't and caused more pain to my nails each time. He also got noticeably frustrated when he had to redo one nail that the polish rubbed off from, which made me feel uncomfortable. I got $5 off which made me feel a little better. ---UPDATE---- I went back and got my nails done again. Spent $30 on a gel refill. My nails started peeling the next day. As a professional myself I know what isn't supposed to happen. I walk in for a fill and it was a foreign fill which they didn't care, anyways, the lady says she has to take my set off to do a new one. Whatever do what you need to do. Then grabs the nail clippers and starts clipping away and pulling on my natural nails, ouch. I tell her it hurts and she continues, until she ripped my nail half way up while trying to get the nail to pop off. She grabbed a nail tip from the box they keep them in and prys in between my nail and acrylic! I know as a licensed professional that in order to remove a nail tip you must soak or you will destroy the natural nail under it. As my nail started to bleed I said can you soak them off you're pulling my nails and ripping them she throws my hands off her station and tells me to go to another guy working. Didn't apologize or anything. I will not be going back and will definitely be reporting to state board. I'm not sure how let's them pop your nails off or how they get away with it but that is not how it is supposed to happen! It's painful and not right! Please be aware. I looked around for a state board complaint sign and did not find one but I will be reporting. I do not recommend this place even if it's your last resort.. read more

I have been to this nail salon 2 times now. The first time I went, I believe it was the owner that did my nails. I got dip powder and she nicked my cuticles multiple times causing them to bleed. Each time she told me it was my fault for jerking my hand away and the 3rd time she said that to me I told her "No, the reason I am jerking away is because you are hurting me." She was not gentle at all. She was rushing and barely paying attention. I decided to go back one more time to see if I would have a better experience. I got dip powder again and it was the same lady that did my nails and she nicked me AGAIN two times. The last thing I want when I go to a nail salon is to be anxious the whole time they are going to hurt me to then get hurt and bleed and worry about getting an infection. If you want your cuticles torn up when you get your nails done then you can be sure you will get that at this salon. It's sad because she did a great job with my nails other than that. Worst pedicure I have ever had. Did a gel French with flower on big toes. The French polish Chipped within a couple days. She used an automatic tool to take off my polish which kept burning my nails. Then I tried telling her that 2 of my toenails were too long and she couldn't understand and wouldn't cut any shorter.
