When you schedule an appointment you get a txt confirmation and the day before your apt you get a reminder txt which is awesome because I forget appointments. K9 Resorts was very highly rated, and fairly close to our house. Every time my dog comes home from daycare he is exhausted. The second time I brought him in, he got so excited as soon as he recognized the place. All of the staff are incredibly friendly. They clearly care about him, and he absolutely loves going there. I love that they have different levels of rooms, depending on what your dog needs or you want. I prefer to do the completely private room, even though my dog is small, to lessen the external noises he has to hear. Around Halloween they had "trick or treat" bags for the dogs by the front desk. Dr. Taylor and Dr. Dechant are positive, kind, knowledgeable, and very good at listening. I like that this clinic has a calm atmosphere and is not a cold, intimidating place. That's really important when you are worried about your pet. You can relax here. Even the heartbreaking experience of making final decisions about your pet is bearable in an environment where the staff obviously have planned and considered how to sensitively lead you through that difficult situation. The front desk staff are also welcoming and enthusiastic. They are very knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and patient. If you have a cat, this is where you should go for care. It makes a difference that they specialize in and cater to cats specifically. It means you are getting the most up-to-date care and there are no other types of pets present to stress out your cat. The people at the Cat Clinic of Johnson County are like family, and I fully trust them with my cats' care.
