But, what I didn't realize was that they book the X-ray Examination and the cleaning SEPARATE. I had to come in for 2 days! Since I was on winter break, it was not a big deal. However, if you are in the working world, it is not okay. I saw Dr. Vo. Dr. Vo's background is extremely impressive, especially considering she is so young! First impressions, I was not impressed. Everyone has an off day, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. The second time I came in, it was much better! She's not very talkative (which is fine, because I hate when they ask you questions and you got stuff all up in your mouth). I had my cleaning done that day, but was able to squeeze in a follow up appointment for a filling as well. For my first appointment, they gave me a water bottle as a welcoming gift. Pretty good marketing strategy, I'm impressed. I will be returning for my second cleaning of the year!

The staff are efficient, professional, and communicate so well on process/aftercare. I was nervous my son who has ADHD would get overstimulated and wouldn't do well but he did amazing as the staff communicated to him what to expect before they did something (helped him to understand and not be nervous). They worked SO quickly too. I would say from start to end of the braces being put on took 15-20mins. They also have branded T-shirts that if your child wears it each visit can be entered into an Amazon gift card raffle. For aftercare: everything was provided including toothbrush, floss, mouthwash, a water bottle. They are great with communication such as forms explaining everything in great detail. They do have multiple locations but I am writing for the Mineral Spring one.

I called a few places, and was told over and over that no one repairs retainers that they haven't placed. When I got to Barone, I was so frustrated and asked "do you have any idea what I can do or who I can call?" I'm pretty sure my orthodontist has long since retired and is over 400 miles away. The receptionist checked and then said "we can get you in for a consultation. We had a cancellation tomorrow morning. Come in and we'll see what we can do." I have extreme dental anxiety, and relayed that to literally everyone I came into contact with there. I cannot emphasize how kind everyone was and how reassuring they were. The staff did an assessment, took pictures and X-rays, and the orthodontist told me "don't worry, we won't let you leave like this". They ended up removing the retainer painlessly, checking in regularly to make sure I was okay. And I left with a copy of my X-rays and a recommendation for a dentist who would they felt would be great for me to work with. As I left, I called my friend and told her that we needed to recommend Barone Orthodontics to anyone we knew that needed orthodontic care. The kindness, support, and obvious care for their clients was evident in everything they did. Highly recommend!!!!

I started here because I had a bad experience at another area dentist office and Dr. Ogata was recommended to be by both my grandmother and grandfather who were long time patients. I have had 100% positive experiences with every receptionist, hygienist and additional staff. They offer flexible hours & emergency visits when needed and a wide variety of services from cleanings and repairs to cosmetic. Thank you Dr. Ogata and staff. I will continue to be a patient as long as I have teeth in my head, which with your staff watching me should be a life time!

Last night I went to make sure there was no paper work for me to fill out, but when I entered my portal (linked in my appointment confirmation email) it said no appointments. I emailed to make sure my accounts were synced, but then received a call the following day telling me my appointment had been cancelled because they won't have a hygienist. I do wonder if they would have told me without me asking-- my guess is no considering my partner had an appointment the same day and didn't know his was cancelled until I told him mine was. I then asked if I could come in the day before or the week after, and was told they're scheduling into April. Even though THEY cancelled my appointment. Needless to say I will be going elsewhere.

I felt that she was very rough on her cleaning procedures, the sink next to the chair (where patients usually spit) was not working and the overall experience was not very professional (at one point she splashed/splatter water on my face and shirt). I've seen two hygienists and would return happily to either of them. They do a thorough clean and always make sure I'm up to date on X-rays. I see the dentist once a year and although I can't remember his name, he's great. I haven't been upsold on anything and it doesn't seem like they make any recommendations without actual need. The office did forget to check me in during my last appointment, so despite my being on time I was brought in 15 minutes late. Other than this annoyance it's been a great experience thus far.

The dentures have broken more than 9 times and how they fixed them was to super glue and staple them and hand them back to me. I wish i knew how to post pictures to show there workmanship. I finally found someone else to get help, when they saw what they did to me they told me that the pins that they screwed into my jaws to hold the dentures in were put in the wrong places and every time i would bite down they would rock the denture and break them. She also made the bottom denture to look like buckteeth the new dentist thought it looked like a joke. I know that everyone has their own opinion as far as someone else's workmanship, I am very happy with the work the second dentist has done for me for less than a third of the price of what they charged me. Dr. Mahmoudi also did a great job explaining everything while he worked which was nice. I actually had a few cavities as well and his team were willing to schedule me to take care of those very quickly (~1.5weeks). Overall, I appreciate Dr. Mahmoudi's bedside manner plus his staff was professional and nice. Especially as a person of color and new resident of Providence, I worried my needs wouldn't be taken into consideration, but I felt comfortable under his care and would recommend him to anyone in Providence or any student at Brown.

His office was rude, and he just unconscionably took my money, as though he were entitled to it. He NEVER followed up. I was glad to find a dentist who immediately addressed all my concerns. It is time for dinosaur dentists like Dr. Corino to retire. Old boy networks no longer work, as there are a lot of competent younger dentists trained in the newest techniques who are civil competent ad kind.
