My sister had a thing with her tech cause she didn't ask her which pedi package she wanted. The girl popped an attitude when my sister nicely asked her for the package she wanted. It was weird. I get so frustrated when massages aren't done properly or for the stated length of time. The menu says you get a 7 minute hot stone massage and mine was LITERALLY 45 seconds. I timed it. See photo attached. Like really? Plus the massages for lotion and sugar scrub were also less than 1 minute. We got mani's next and my girl was amazing. She is the manager of the store and so funny. I love how my nails turned out. I also asked for a mani and the dip but she explained they are not included which I learned! She asked how our pedis were and I was truthful. The next day, the area became painful and started draining what appeared to be pus. I'm now dealing with what seems to be an infection and have to seek medical evaluation. I understand that complications can happen, but I was disappointed by how aggressively my toenail was trimmed. I hope the salon takes extra care when performing pedicures and is more cautious with cuticle and nail work to help prevent this from happening to other customers. I tried this place out after reading reviews of a few different ones in my area. I was serviced by Lena (hope I spelled that right). She was amazing!! She explained things so well to me, kept telling me I have strong and beautiful natural nails, helped me decide which design to choose for the cat eye gels when I was indecisive. I needed some TLC on my heels too and she used this homemade rose scented sugar scrub exfoliant and really just did great work. Pretty sure she also practiced some TCM on my hand's and feet's pressure points. I turned on the massager and closed my eyes lol. I was truly in heaven. She's very kind and you can tell she takes pride in her work. Detail oriented and I could see she was taking extra care to not let any gel cure on my skin. I love how they came out. The color also changes hues in different lighting. It's so cool! Might be worth to mention that it's been only a week and the gel has started to chip off on one of the nails, but I also work with my hands, so maybe that's why. def want to come back and try again soon.

I asked what's the issue? and they stated nothing. I went to my car checked my account and turns out they charged me $828!!!!!!!!!! on top of my bill! and not once mention it to me nor saying it was an accident or apologize. I go back inside and ask why did they charge me that much and why didn't they say anything when it happened and Ben (the managers) response was "it's not a problem on our end.. it's up to yourbank" if I wouldn't have checked my account they wouldn't have ever told me about that transaction or reversed it! I told him I will NEVER come back all he said was " that's okay" I said your whole service was rushed. Today, I finally found it--Tubi Nails! Minh gave me one of the best pedicures I've ever had. I've decided he's the only person I want touching my feet from now on! He was incredibly thorough, gently removing my cuticles and calluses, and he painted my toes with such care and precision. I left feeling completely pampered. T did my manicure, and I couldn't be happier. I came in with a painful hangnail that is still healing, and T was so gentle and careful around it. Even though my nails are currently very short from previous bad manicures at other salons, my hands look beautiful. The salon itself is exactly what I was looking for--clean, simple, relaxing, and welcoming. The music created such a peaceful atmosphere, and every employee I encountered was kind, friendly, and professional. One thing that really stood out was the other customers. Several people told me they've been coming here for five years or more, and they couldn't say enough wonderful things about the salon. That spoke volumes to me. And then there's the price... honestly, I was shocked! The quality of service was outstanding, yet the cost was better than any other salon I've visited in the area. The manager, Lynn, is dismissive, interruptive, and rude. I called ahead and asked if they had time for a walk in. Answer was immediately yes. I got there, walked inside, and was asked to wait 10 minutes. I did call ahead for this reason as I didn't have a lot of time.. fine, I waited. They asked me what I had on my nails and I said regular gel polish. They started using the e-file on me and when I asked if it was a sanding band on it (because that's ALL you can use on natural nails), they smiled and didn't say anything. I repeated myself, again, smiled, made a sound (??), and continued. I said hello?? And pulled my hand back. They called out to another person (salon manager) who came over and I asked them "is that a carbide bit they're using on my natural nails or is that a sanding bit?" They spoke in their language for a sec and then she sat down and told me she'd be continuing the service. Red flag. I asked, "do you normally let your technicians practice unsafe nail services?" She continued to dismiss me by patting my hand and telling me she just wants a "quiet, happy service today". WHAT THE FUCK. I'm sure you could see the steam coming out of my ears. Excuse me? I then requested to see the first nail techs license, because when I looked for it, it's not displayed. It is required to be displayed at the very desk you're working at in a salon. So of course, she says she "sent the person out to go get it from their car". I said "car??? Why is it not in here being displayed?" She dismisses me, again. About 10 minutes went by and I requested again, "I'd like to see that persons license before I leave here as they worked on and destroyed my natural nail bed on my right hand". She said (I audibly laughed at this one) "I think they left to go but lotto tickets. Yeah, they play the lottery." So you're telling me that your nail technician fled the building because they provided an illegal service, ruined my nails, and is getting caught red-handed. Got it. She then had the audacity to ask me "how long have you been doing nails?" I said excuse me? She said because she's been doing nails for 20 years and she has more knowledge than me. Any person with a brain and google can confirm in 5 seconds that she was blatantly lying to me. I clearly have more knowledge than her if she's trying to tell me that a CARBIDE BIT is ok to use on natural nails. HELLLLLL NOOOOO!!!!!! I told her, "so this service is free right because you provided me with an illegal service?" She responded yes she's taking care of it. I washed my hands and got the f out of there. DO NOT GO HERE. Reporting her, her salon, and her unlicensed nail techs to the cosmetology board IMMEDIATELY.
