They sent Sonia who was truly amazing at making sure the dogs were included, but also making sure they were well taken care of and not getting overwhelmed. It was really special having our best friends at the wedding, and Sonia made sure that we did not have to worry about them at all so we could just enjoy the weekend. It's not easy to wrangle 170 pounds combined especially when there's a lot of human food around on tables, dropped morsels on the ground, kids running around, and a ton of special people the dogs get excited to see; but Sonia's calm, cool, collected nature transferred to the pups and they were relaxed and well taken care of and had a great time. Patti books real fast so if you are interested in booking with her you need to do it 6 weeks in advance specially if you have a large dog like mine. Kodiak wears a pony haircut with dye poms. He is fully groom every 6 weeks and takes bath every two weeks. His style and dye take about 6 hours to get done as Patti works in a salon and has more works to work around my dog. Highly recommend her as a groomer but make sure to always schedule your follow up appointments at pick up.

The entire process was super easy, even though we handled everything over the phone. I mostly communicated with Anna, and she was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. We also paid for our four-night boarding stay through Simon's Zelle account, which made everything very convenient. The grooming was also top-notch! Our Morkie came back looking great, and it was clear that they took good care of her while we were away. In…read more2023/2024 I found the dog resort extremely helpful as a day time dog sitter for 4-6 hrs at a time. My dog didn't seem to mind it and always came back calmer so I decided to leave him here for 9 days while I went away for a trip. I don't recall the exact costs. Probably between 900-1100 dollars for daily walks and his home provided food. I asked the employees to put on his sweater at night. It wasn't a question it was a very important task they agreed to. He was a very small 8 pound yorkie and was always cold. When I came back my dog was not his normal self. That already made me highly suspicious about getting his walks. He was coughing a lot, not sleeping but also lethargic. I took him to the vet and he had pneumonia. Meaning, he was cold from day 1 and got worse for the remainder of his stay and I never got a call from here. From there he got sicker and sicker and I had to put him down. I was devastated and desperate to get him back to normal for months! I recommend people never leave their dogs in places like this. Sure you save money and they may or may not have company (depending on their personality) but you're better off vetting a dog sitter to check in or stay with your dog at home. In the end you may save yourself an onslaught of vet bills from trying to figure what is making your dog so ill when back from a trip. At least with an in home dog sitter they're more like to stay alive and healthy. If you have a small dog with specific needs get someone who can cater to your dog with love and care. I highly suggest NEVER leaving your dog for overnight or extended stays. I hate that it took me so long to post this but my grief was too strong to do it before. I wanted to sue, I wanted my money back, but I was so sad and I couldn't bring myself to do much other than focus on him and move on with my life. I'll never get another dog after this experience.

I truly feel like they have saved my dog twice, and…read morewhat stands out most is not only the quality of the medical care, but how genuinely loved and safe my dog feels here. Patrick had been an exceptionally healthy dog for almost seven years, so until this summer we barely needed veterinary care. Then, within one summer, we suddenly had to deal with several serious medical issues, and finding a clinic we could truly trust became incredibly important. The first serious emergency began when Patrick suddenly had blood in his stool. We had already been to another clinic, where we received a confusing diagnosis, were told about stones, given an extremely high estimate, and then ultimately they would not even perform the surgery. That stressful experience is how we found this clinic in Sherman Oaks. They saw Patrick right away, explained everything clearly and calmly, and performed the surgery that same day. By that evening, he was already doing remarkably well. Later that same summer, we had to return for a completely separate medical problem. Patrick developed a serious GI issue, possibly from something he ate or picked up outside, and this time he needed to stay in the hospital for three days. I am an extremely anxious dog owner, so leaving him anywhere is very difficult for me. I visited every day, and what I saw made me feel completely safe leaving him there. As soon as Patrick was feeling better, he wasn't simply sitting alone in a cage. He was around the staff, being watched, talked to, petted, loved, and even sleeping near them. Everyone knew him and clearly adored him. That attitude is visible everywhere in the clinic. Some of the staff even bring their own dogs to work. You see animals right there with the people, relaxed and included in everyday life. To me, that says a lot. These are people who genuinely love animals, not just people who work around them. The doctor clearly loves his work and cares deeply about the animals he treats. He is knowledgeable, kind, approachable, and always willing to explain things. There is none of that feeling that the doctor is some unreachable person whose time you are afraid to take up. The clinic is also very easy to reach during business hours. You can call, send photos, ask questions, and actually get an answer. Their manager, Alyona, is wonderful, and so are all the women at the front desk. Everyone is friendly, patient, open, and genuinely helpful. One thing I especially appreciate is how seriously they take recovery after procedures. After anesthesia, surgery, dental work, or another significant procedure, they actually want to keep Patrick for several hours so they can monitor him properly while he recovers. That is very different from a previous experience I had at another clinic, where after a dental cleaning I was called almost immediately to pick him up while he was still extremely disoriented from anesthesia and barely able to walk. I took him home in that condition and spent the entire day worrying because I had received very little explanation about what was normal and what wasn't. Here, I have always picked Patrick up alert, stable, comfortable, and with clear instructions about what happened and what to expect afterward. They do not treat recovery as something that ends the moment the procedure is finished. We also had Patrick's dental cleaning done here. One tooth looked like it might need to be removed, and I was fully prepared for that because another clinic had extracted a tooth the year before. This time, the doctor was able to clean and save it. No unnecessary extraction, no antibiotics afterward, and Patrick's teeth looked wonderful. We later tried their grooming service too, and it was honestly the best grooming Patrick has ever had. Our neighbors noticed immediately, including a neighbor with the same breed who asked where we had taken him because he looked so good. After having an almost completely healthy dog for seven years, suddenly dealing with several medical problems in one summer was overwhelming. Finding a clinic where I trust both the medical care and the way my dog is treated emotionally has been an enormous relief. Thank you so much to the doctor Igor, Alyona, the front desk team, and everyone else who has taken care of Patrick. The level of care, communication, patience, and genuine love for animals here is very rare.
