The only reason it's 3 stars and not 1 is because they accommodated me the same day so I appreciated that. However, this hair cut was the worst Ive ever seen on my furbaby. I said teddy bear round face cut and instead got thin uneven, hand cut that looks like a stray dog. After picking her up, I had to comb out her hair and attempt to make her look decent. I wouldn't complain but after paying $75 for this, I was disappointed. I am never returning. Which is a shame since their photos had cute cuts but I was not lucky with the groomer that handled my baby. Yes, she was matted and scarred but don't use that as an excuse to a terrible job. As a groomer, I expect they know how to work with dogs with this behavior and do a decent job like others I've been to. read more

We had to find a new groomer, so after searching Yelp, I decided on Wiggles Pet Spa. When I called to inquire, Rita was sweet, pleasant, and very accommodating. She works with her daughter, Julie, who does the grooming. They were so welcoming and really listened to what I was requesting. Their salon is very clean and open-concept, with no dogs in cages. My dog's cut turned out great! Julie did an amazing job (she asked me to trust her and she really delivered). Took my 10 month old Goldendoodle, Pucci, here for his first grooming session (that wasn't done from me) and he came out a handsome boy that can finally see!! Rita was amazing at communicating, and whoever did the actual grooming / bath / trim etc did a great job! I was super nervous since this was going to be his first time out of home, but the Yelp reviews don't lie!! First time guest of Wiggles and could not be happier. Having just come off a terrible grooming experience (review for them to follow,) I searched further away from Woodland Hills and found Wiggles. Since our dog is named Wiggy, along with stellar reviews, it seemed right. A good gauge of a grooming salon: when you walk in, is it love at first 'smell?' Even a remote hint of dirty dog, old water, dog discharge in any way - run for the door. Wiggles: impeccably clean, two friendly groomers who immediately looked up and said hello and they would be right with me. (Took less than 2 minutes to come check me in,) well lit, absolute fresh smell (I will take NO smell which means it's clean, "fresh" smell especially at 11am after several dogs, you could eat off the floor.) Get this: air conditioning blasting - must have been 70 in there on an 88 degree day. Why is that important? Actually even more important than cool dogs? (No cages btw, just cool like studio-apartment like spaces ) Cool and comfortable GROOMERS. It's a really hard job. I owned Town and Country Mobile Pet Groomers in Los Angeles from 2001-2004 with 8 vans. Biggest mobile service in Los Angeles. The toughest part? Keeping top grooming talent. If groomers are comfortable and happy, they will do better work because they feel appreciated. Anita groomed Wig and he was absolutely perfect. It's been 8 years since a groomer (in Boston) did as good a job. They called me the minute he was done (3.5 hours) and when we picked him up, he came bouncing to the front meaning he was treated with love. See you every 6 weeks Anita and Wiggles. read more

Rita at Wiggles is great! We got a recommendation to come to her and decided to try it out. We had a few bad experiences at Petco and liked the idea of supporting a small business. We brought our dog, Star to Rita for a grooming. Our dog is a chow/ border collie/shepherd mix with long fluffy hair. A lot of groomers tend to over-cut, so we wanted to make sure the groomer kept her hair long, but gave her a nice trim. Rita listened to our request carefully and did exactly that!
