1 lb Steamed snow Crab Leg w old bay, steamed shrimp, corn, potatoes
    Kristin A.

Had I not been specifically on a Google search for crab legs, I probably would've never come across this place. Even if I had driven by it, I probably would've still missed it. Stopped by to get steamed seafood for some friends. There's a steaming side and a side that has fried seafood and other food options. There was also a constant stream of people in and out which is usually a good sign. One my first visit, the guy at the counter insisted I try the fried shrimp next door. I did and it was delicious. Seasoned so well! The steamed crab legs, shrimp, corn and potatoes I went to get were good too. Second visit I learned to order ahead which made the pickup a lot easier since parking is limited to a few spots. Solid spot for yummy seafood.

We had heard so many great things about this place, so we finally decided to give it a try, and I'm…read moreso glad we did! We went on a Friday afternoon, and it was definitely busy, which is always a good sign. Even with the crowd, the service was fast and everyone was so friendly. I also loved that you can choose to sit inside or outside, and they have plenty of seating either way. Of course, I had to order an espresso martini. If you're an espresso martini lover, you already know they're either amazing or disappointing, there's really no in-between. I had mine made with Baileys (just a heads up, it's a small upcharge), and it was so worth it! It was smooth, rich, perfectly balanced, and definitely had a nice kick. One of the better espresso martinis I've had in a while. We ordered the seafood platter to split, and honestly, it was the perfect amount of food for two people. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and came out hot. Our waitress, Kay, was amazing! She was so sweet, patient, and happy to answer all of our questions about the menu. She recommended the espresso martini and the mac and cheese. She was spot-on about the martini! The mac and cheese was good, but it was a little on the dry side and could've used a little more seasoning. That was probably the only thing we'd change. Overall, we had a really great experience. Great food, delicious drinks, awesome service, and a fun atmosphere, it checked all the boxes. If you're nearby, definitely stop in. And if you're not, I'd honestly say it's worth making the drive. We'll definitely be back! Ratings: Food: 8/10 Drinks: 8.5/10 Ambiance: 9.5/10 Customer Service: 9.5/10 Overall: 9/10

There were some larger parties waiting, but luckily the hostess had a picnic table for 2 available outside of the bar area. The live band was good but we are old and thus were happy not to be seated so close that we had to shout to hear each other. They had signs posted saying they were out of steamed crabs, so it may be good to call before going there if that's what you're aiming for. We ordered the Brussel sprout appetizer, crab dip, and chicken Chesapeake sandwich. All three were very good. My only critique was that there was a bit too much salt on top of the crab dip. I also got a non alcoholic lemon basil fizz. I did not taste any of the basil and for $11 I would skip this next time. Overall we were happy with the experience and would gladly come back.

I substitute the scallops with shrimp. i received a large bowl of fried rice, crab meat that was almost non-existent (maybe a teaspoonful), and maybe two-three chopped shrimp. So, mostly I just had fried rice. The price was $17.99. Meanwhile, my husband ordered a fried shrimp basket. He received eight medium/large fried shrimp and two pieces of corn. His ordered was $14.00. I am very disappointed with what I received and will not order this again.

The quality of the seafood for the price point was great! The restaurant is pretty small but they have a nice flow to service and seemed to manage it well. We didn't have a long wait when we arrived and the food came out quick but the small waiting area was packed by the time we were leaving so I would suggest trying it earlier rather than later. Now let's get into the food. We started with the Banging Salmon Bites and they were very delicious. Seasoned to perfection. I'm not the biggest fan of bang bang sauce and I was expecting the bites to come tossed in sauce but it was drizzled on top which I actually appreciated so I could control the amount of sauce on my bite. Next time I will ask for it on the side but I did really like it. The salmon was juicy and flavorful. For my entree I did the build your own combo with a pound of snow crab legs and 1/2 pound of headless shrimp. The combo comes with 1 corn and two potatoes and I added additional corn which was two more pieces. I had the yard mix sauce which is a combination of all of the sauces together and it was delicious. Not overly salty but actually flavorful. I did medium spice level I think next time I'll try the hot. The medium was not spicy enough for me. The seafood comes out on a hot sizzling plate which is a nice touch and actually helps keep the seafood warm longer. The drinks were also a really good price and pretty strong. Overall I really enjoyed the food will def be back to try some more menu options and maybe happy hour. Only deducted one star because our server was lacking a bit but not terrible. He just seemed to need some more training but he may have just been new.

The Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes were the star of the meal--packed with large pieces of sweet crab meat, lightly seasoned, and cooked to perfection with very little filler. The Haddock was fresh, flaky, and perfectly fried with a light, crispy coating. We also ordered the Pot Boil with crabs, shrimp, and snow crab legs, and it did not disappoint. The seafood was fresh, generously portioned, and seasoned just right, making it a fun and satisfying meal to share. What made the experience even better was the outstanding staff. Everyone was incredibly attentive, friendly, and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed and taking the time to answer our questions with a smile. Their excellent service truly elevated the entire dining experience. If you're visiting Baltimore and love fresh seafood, Faidley's at the new Lexington Market is a must-visit.

Worth the hype. On my last visit last month, I went and got a Catfish Filet and Medium Tea. The Catfish is what took this review from a 5 Star to 4. I was very unsatisfied and disappointed in the Catfish. The breading was icky. Too much, not tasty, and funny looking. The tea was ok. I will skip that as well on my next visit. I will try the Shrimp Platter upon my next visit. I would like to end this review on a better note. Customer Service was very pleasant and the atmosphere, seats, and the tabletops were clean. Ok, that's it.

I pretty much always get their Rockfish tacos because they're so good! Well-fried rockfish pieces topped with a yummy remoulade sauce and finely chopped cabbage. I think my only complaint would be that it's clearly enough for two standard tacos, but they shove it all into one large one, which usually makes for pretty messy eating. I usually opt for the mixed seasonal vegetables, which is a pretty large side and a good variety of veggies. Not bad for $14! Every time I go, there is someone getting their cream of crab soup, and a few times the truck has sold out; must be good, so I'll have to try that next time. Other popular items include their crab fries. They also usually have some jarred dessert, like crème brûlée or key lime pie. I finally broke down and tried their crème brûlée and it was pretty solid! For $5, it's worth it. The folks there are friendly and work fast to get you your food. Prices are definitely reasonable. Check these guys out sometime.
