i wanted my refund for hair on my pizza please see below for more details. *update 2* managers name is wade. i called corporate and the manager from corporate is not available... funny how no managers are available when the customer has an issue... do not shop at happys. there are so many other pizza places. *update 1* unbelievable! i called the owner just this morning (11am jan 6th 2025) and he told me he only wants to give me store credit. telling me i am lying and told me out his mouth on the phone he will give me the full refund if i remove this post. telling me i am lying to get a free pizza. why!? i do reviews on every business i shop at. i stopped shopping here because they are going down hill. the owner says im lying and attempted to blackmail or bribe me with my own money. i know you are reading this because you said you saw my review online. you even saw the one i put up 2 years ago. that was the last time i ordered happys. this location needs to be evaluated. no manager on duty last night with staff, no standards for food. after he realized what he did and saif about me taking this review down he offered the full refund. its too late for that now... he took the last 4 of my card to issue the refund. i will be back here if suspicious activity happens on my card. he didnt give me his name as the manager/part owner of the store either. do not shop here! hair on my pizza. they offered me store credit. no manager on duty on a late night shift. don't shop here. employee sam was the problem when i called. stating they do not have a manager but asking what's so hard to understand about that. the store should not be without a manager at night and pizza should not have hair on it. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I ordered 4 pizzas---all with very different toppings. They got one of the large pizzas wrong. They offered to remake it but it was too late. Owner said he'd give me a store credit. I attempted to use my "store credit" a few days later. I did NOT want another pizza from here so I ordered a salad and boneless wings instead. The guy that answered the phone said that I would have to pay for all of that. When I asked him to talk to the owner, the owner said since the original order was for a 3-topping large pizza, he was ONLY going to give that to me. I paid $20 for the INCORRECT large pizza. He only took $10 off of my new order! I thought store credit meant I could order something for that same amount ($20) without an issue. Nope, not at this store! Worst experience I have here ., I got the jumbo 20 piece shrimp and rib tip sauce on the side and bread sticks . The jumbo shrimp was over deep fried and salty , I could taste the deep fried oil like it have not been change in a weeks . The rib tip was a small portion for 8.00 dollars And have lots of fat, heart attack oily . Bread stick was bad it was dry I spend 40 dollars total and was very disappointed But I be nice and didn't go back and get refund. First time ordering from this Happys Pizza and it was dead on delicious! Ordered a Calzone with Mushrooms, Steak, and cheese and it was very very loaded and very very delicious! I also ordered the breaded mushrooms and they too were perfectly fried and delicious! Good Ranch too! read more

This was the WORST EXPERIENCE i have EVER had. The customer service is disgusting the guy that answered the phone did not give a name. He was rude and pushy when i complained about my order. The bread sticks tasted like stale cardboard. Then took a bite out of the basically cold pizza and it was disgusting barely any cheese either. The guy proceeded to say he would remake the food however, i didn't want that i asked if i could get cheese bread instead. And he proceeded to tell me that they don't have any other kind of breadsticks. And then rebutted by saying we DO have cheese bread but you'd have to pay for it. When THEY messed up the order to begin with. Also said they did not offer refunds and it was "our opinion" that the food didn't taste good when in reality they're using bad ingredients. The Rib Tips at this location were really good last week (unlike the mushy condition of an order I got months ago at Sterling Heights); and were a good value. The St. Louis Ribs were also good, but falling off the bone a little much. I would actually prefer to have the sauce on the side (it's a little too sweet and heavy, but still is tasty.) I will order again despite the couple of issues I wish were different. I won't order the bread sticks again. A dozen is too large an order if not eaten immediately. read more

Ordered small pizza, chicken bacon sub, and ribs. The food was cold, the pizza had no cheese on it and the sub's chicken was like rubber. BEWARE!!!! I ordered a pizza, wings and rib tips on Nov. 13th. ALL of the food arrived cold. We had to put it in the oven to warm it up. I called and spoke with Amir who told me that he would replace the order. We had already waited 1 hour and 20 minutes it so I declined that option. Amir then offered to replace the full order (totaling $25.42) at a later date. I called this evening and spoke with Amir who told me he would only be able to provide me a $5 credit. I explained to him that HE TOLD ME on the 13th he would REPLACE the full order and HE provided the dollar amount. I wrote everything down that he said on the 13th. He would not honor his word. We will NOT be ordering from this location going further and we will NOT recommend this location to anyone ordering food. Please "Owner" do NOT respond condescendingly as I have read your previous responses and they are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. It is amazing you haven't been reported to Corporate or the BBB.... i moved to eastpointe earlier this year. while i'm glad there is a lot of food options available in this area, including pizza, i'm especially glad that there is a happy's near here. everyone always rants and raves about the famed cloverleaf pizza a little ways down gratiot from this happy's location, but honestly i prefer happy's. happy's pizza just tastes better. the people working at happy's are my kind of people. not too in your face about you being a customer, not too formal. they just want to get you taken care of, if u want to get taken care of. highly suggest just getting any type of pizza you prefer and it'll be a good choice. my only real gripe with them is that they put a bit too much sauce on the pizza for my personal taste, but that is simply due to my stomach not handling acidic ingredients too well. their other food options are good too! i love the ribs, i get that from time to time, again though, a bit too much sauce for my taste. it's just a simple request of asking to not put too much on though and it's perfect. read more

Absolute WORST customer service!! I placed an order online & somehow it did not go through correctly. When I called to ask about it- obviously not knowing it did not go through correctly- they told me I never placed it. I had spoke to someone there 5 minutes after it was placed to ask them to deliver to a certain door. When I called to check on the order I hit redial so I KNOW it was the same store. I was also told I never called. TWICE in one call I was basically called a liar with no apology for misunderstanding or offer to try to fix it. I called in and ordered a delivery last night it was over an hour before my food arrived. I ordered a chicken salad chicken was dry lettuce was undesirable. I also ordered a side of coleslaw, that too was lacking, The small container was half-full. I called today and talked to a manager kindly let him know that I was displeased and he refused to remake the salad. Also was very unprofessional on the phone . We have ordered pizza from here for years and thought it was the best around but lately it is not so great anymore. The pizza we ordered last night had burnt onions on it and didn't even look like they put the extra cheese that we paid for. This happened once before and then we got a pretty good one but now it's burnt again. I noticed if you get extra cheese then they lighten up on the items underneath it. Their ribs are great but I would like for the pizza to come and be edible too. I don't like the taste of burnt onion when eating pizza. We have to wait 45 minutes to get it so complaining to the driver did no good when he just says they got new ovens and don't know how to work them yet. The price is too much for what you're getting with that kind of service. I hope they can improve by knowing this. Would like to be "Happy" with Happys pizza. read more

Happy's Pizza has a really wide selection for being a pizza joint. They have everything from hamburgers to salads and pretty amazing deserts. I love their onion rings - I would recommend getting ranch dressing to dip them in. Their ranch dressing is some of the best I ever had. Their pizza is great too. read more

The pizza I was served last evening was the WORST pizza I've ever had in my life! Hands down i am not exaggerating! It all comes down to cheap ingredients. Everything tasted cheap. The cheese tasted like frozen pizza cheese, the dough didn't taste fresh, and the sauce tasted like ketchup. If I didn't know that this pizza was delivered I would have been convinced it was a frozen pizza made in the oven. I would call back and complain but I honestly don't want them to remake my order because the ingredients are sub-par so i would get baloney again. Terrible! More often than not the food is dry and cold. Today we ordered two pizzas and it took over an hour to be delivered....again, cold. Called to complain and the individual we spoke to (after being put on hold for ten minutes the minute they found out we were callin to complain) identified themselves as the manager when we asked for them. Their response to cold pizza is "it didn't come straight from the oven, it was delivered." He was a real smart ass and didn't seem to want to solve the issue in any way like someone who takes pride in the business they work for normally would. I understand that pizza isn't usually piping hot when it's delivered but I do expect it to be warm when I live 5 minutes away from the joint. The delivery guy took his time parking the vehicle since he decided to back in and tried to have a conversation with me in the drive (I wasn't having it since I was already upset about the wait). I'll be going to Passport from now on. They are further away and always deliver hot food. I give one star because I have to and I do like their battered mushrooms. read more

This Happy's location is amazing. The staff is very friendly and the food always tastes great. I have never had a time where they messed up my order. I love the thin crust pizza.
