We had an absolutely delicious meal and beverages here. Being in the wine country, it was lovely to get to taste a few selections before settling on a glass of Groundworks Syrah which the amateur somalier mixed with a Bordeaux blend. We had a Hapy mezze platter. The falafel and babganoush were notable- my partner is Israeli and loved the authenticity. I had a falafel burger and my partner had a greek salad. It was all fresh, delicious and the service was very good. I would reserve a 5 star rating for a restaurant where I didn't see coolers full of beverages. We actually prefer less pretentious restaurants, so for the casual atmosphere and the tasty food, we'd come back in a heartbeat! read more

Unfortunately the food is just not good, overpriced and tasteless. Got the duck overly cooked got the steak and was unfortunately tasteless, it seemed as if their meat cut was grocery store bought wrapped in back. Their hot sauce was good spicy! I wouldn't recommend this place not sure if it was because it was near closing time but still should be that way. This is a quiet, unassuming place in a small shopping center. The exterior is not fancy yet clean. Once you step inside, the place takes on a whole different feel. The interior is rich and lavish, yet still inviting. The staff is very friendly and attentive. My meal was prepared very well. The presentation was quite attractive. The food was fresh, tasty, seasoned perfectly, and arrived at the table arranged very artistically on the plate. I stopped here for a quick birthday dinner and was not disappointed. The food was decently good, the customer service and ambiance was not as good. It tried to be fancy, but it's not giving enough. There was something off about the way the male server treated us, in comparison to other customers at tables around us. A simple water refill took longer than for others even though we arrived first when the restaurant was empty. He kept checking on the other tables but not ours, was very friendly and talkative with others but short and almost judgmental with us. Because of that, it did not feel like a friendly or welcoming environment, and so the food alone is not enough for me to come back. Maybe this is the type of place that expects you to dress to impress and treats you according to that, but based on its location I would have never thought that. read more

We discovered this place after a very long day of travel from the east coast. We were tired and hungry. This place provided exactly what we needed. Excellent food and a great glass of California wine. Our host Sam was so personable, charming and sympathetic to our fatigue. We loved it so much we went back the next night for dinner. Sam has a lot of knowledge about local wines. The food is exceptional!! There aren't many California restaurants I would travel back to from the east coast. This is one!! read more

Wanted to try a new restaurant in SLO county and my best friend suggested this after going with her boyfriend - it's a classy Mediterranean restaurant with a huge beer and wine selection (they sell beer, wine, and cigars separate from the restaurant too if you wanted to get something, but you can also order a drink with your meal). We were recommended to get a bunch of appetizers to share, so we got the brussel sprouts, octopus (small size was plenty), and steak bites with button mushrooms. It was a good balance of veggies and meat/seafood, and all were flavored differently and well. We were getting pretty full from just these appetizers, but we decided to order an entree to try. We got the Moussaka, which is layered sautéed eggplant and ground beef baked in a ceramic dish. We only ended up taking a few bites of it so we brought it home for leftovers. Most of things we ordered were lined with a box, which we guessed were customer favorites? Everything was delicious- nothing was too heavy in flavor and portions were big! And to end the meal, my boyfriend surprised me with a birthday dessert- strawberry tiramisu which was on the specials. The waiters harmonized happy birthday and the dessert was delicious! We sat at a table but next time I want to sit at the bar- we went around 6pm on a Saturday night and got seated right away, our waiter was very attentive and friendly, the ambiance of the restaurant was great, and I'm excited to come back and try more dinner options as well as the lunch menu! read more

Loved this place!!! We brought our own wine, corkage fee was reasonable. After seeing their extensive wine list with great prices we ordered a bottle of Chardonnay. Again, very reasonable food was great, I had an appetizer the others in our group had items off the menu. They were amazing. One was a moussaka and the other had a gyro.And I have a steak and mushrooms appetizer. Wines we had a Caymus Cab, and a Rombauer Chardonnay. Win-win. Highly recommend y'all try this. Outstanding food and great service! Everything from the filet mignon soup to their chicken dinner... so yummy!

If you think in terms of great select Greek eats...& a decent mix of nicely presented & fairly tasty snacks/meals, to go with their excellent brew selection...then this is a local Oasis in this area. They have three amazing components to the brew selection. 1) Great on-tap variety that includes: Hard Cider, Tangerine Flavored Brew, and Hard Pineapple Brew...as well as some other local beers. 2) A wine table devoted to my totally favorite brew... PINOT NOIR...wow. The selection of the best of the locals, such as from Santa Maria Valley, blows me away. They even have a few that only came from a 12 barrel batch. The prices are fair. They even have such rare brands like Ampelos. They have quite a few from the Lompoc Wine Ghetto. 3) A extensive selection of a very eclectic bunch of all kinds of refrigerated brews that range from Vintage Rose Champagne to Hard Root Beer. The selection is almost exclusively domestic & local. It would be great if they included more Belgium, Czech, or German imports. For locals, they even have Libertine...which is good, but pricey. In terms of eats... I really enjoyed their large Octopus...which while chewy, was spot on with flavor. I asked for only peppers to go with it & they did a great job on the platter for $18. The Greek soup was good, but the acidity kind of overwhelmed the other flavors. A few months back I did try their eats before & was underwhelmed by their Gyro and I think a Kebab. Since I am rather spoiled by the "Dedicated" Gyro place that slice right from a revolving spit, it really was not quite up to that standard. What you get here, is great drinks, in a comfy atmosphere [has both indoor & outdoor], and good eats. If you happen to passing by this area on the 101, or seeing some medical professionals up the hill, or shopping at the mall, it is an interesting choice. If you are looking for local STELLAR PINOT NOIRS....this is the place... not mention Hard Root Beer or Pineapple juice! Update: Get the local Tolosa Clonal Select 2014 , only 41 barrels, pH 3.7, etoh 13.8%, TA 5.8, brix 24.5 degree, blocks 517,596,518,513,580 & Tastes great for $50! The Kevin's Lamb dinner special was quite good & my honey adored the super-rare handmade Doma. read more

outrageously overpriced. the service was good and friendly, but we were shocked by the cost of the menu. you're certainly not paying for ambiance or a view of the ocean. the outside patio looks over the interstate highway, and the location is in a strip mall next door to a hardware store. the food was average. certainly not worth $200 for a family of four when my wife and I both had salads as our entree and our kids are 9 and 11 years old and had kids' size portions. my wife and i each had one adult beverage. read more

The food must be off the charts here, because the service was not. I came in wanting some desert and wine and sat at the bar. I was sitting there 5-10 minutes til I finally just asked for a drink menu myself. After my wine was served, I was never asked if I wanted to see a menu or anything, so I passed on desert. The bartender was obviously new, as she stared at the ingredients cheat sheet for every drink ordered. The restaurant should have another bartender working til the training wheels come off. Lastly, a TV would be nice. I don't think I could give this place another shot. read more

Wonderful bistro with great people. We are three people traveling with four dogs. I called them and asked if that was ok. They said, "We love dogs. We'll get your table ready." Such a gracious restaurant! The back patio is very comfortable.They offered our dogs water. The chicken with linguine is wonderful, and we really enjoyed the fish and chips. Wonderful selection of beers and wine along with cocktails. My brut rosé split was a lovely accompaniment to my meal. read more

We were there a few nights ago for the second time while traveling in this area and were not disappointed. My husband and I bought a delicious bottle of white wine to start. We ordered the grilled salmon that came with grilled vegetables which were cooked to perfection! We also ordered olive bread as an appetizer that was delicious. Maria our waitress was so attentive & friendly! The manager Fabio came over to our table to see how everyone was which I was very impressed, you don't always have that when you dine out. Myself, my husband and daughter all went for dinner. The ambiance was wonderful, forgot I was in a strip mall! The service was fabulous! When we sat, our waiter was in the back, the other waiter brought us a wine list and went to get our waiter. Both gentlemen were very accommodating. And now for the food! I thought I went to heaven! I had chicken bites from the appetizer section. Well there was enough for a meal, we each had a piece and I took some home. Hubby had the Tuscan chicken pasta! Wonderful, melted in your mouth. My friend and I were really craving Mediterranean food so we decided to try this place because of the good reviews. I am completely baffled how this place can have the amount of good reviews it does. It was probably the worst Mediterranean food I have ever eaten. The food was bland, no flavor and we ended up throwing most of it away because it was just so inedible. Do do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place if you actually want decent Mediterranean food. read more

This is a really good spot! I have eaten here many times! dine-in and carry-out have both been great experiences. Parking is very easy. It's right in front of the restaurant which is situated in the corner space of a shopping center. There is plenty of seating inside, but the ambiance on the patio is so good! There is a huge selection of beer and wine that lines the wall of the restaurant. The food and service here is also fantastic! The burger never disappoints. Give this place a try! read more
