Nice romantic and playful restaurant, as well as a great family restaurant overall. Service is always on point and staff are friendly and quick and very professional providing quality service. Everything we ordered was a challenge overall, cause the whole menu looks amazing and it was hard to narrow down. However, impressed with what we ordered as everything tasted amazing and fresh. Keik Bakeshop has three locations. The hype and viral started at the original Doral location. I was in the Pembroke Pines area and decided to stop by. This location is smaller but with the same unique pink decor and atmosphere. Instagram worthy and cute! Perfect for a brunch with your girlfriends. Famous for their desserts, custom cakes, pastries as well as brunch items like eggs benedict and specialty coffee. I liked the front counter where all the cakes are neatly displayed and showcased. I tried the prettiest banana split pink pancakes for $20 enough for three people along with a deliciuos cappuccino $8.99. Place is a bit pricey not your regular cafe but worth coming here to treat yourself and take cute photos. Service was good and noticed they already include the tip. Came here yesterday (Saturday) around 11am with my sister in law and baby niece in a stroller. The restaurant is small, not very stroller accessible. We were greeted half heartedly and placed to be sat at a two seater table in a hallway. We were looked at odd for coming in with a stroller; the woman seemed annoyed by that. The tables are a bit too close to each other so trying to navigate having a stroller next to us was a bit uncomfortable. Our waitress came, brought water which was lukewarm, not iced. The food was average at best and overpriced I ordered the brigadeiro latte which did not come hot as a latte should, it was half cold and for almost $10, not worth it. My sister in law ordered the Ham and cheese croissant, which again for the price of $16 was not worth it-I've had better at Burger King. I ordered the bacon Benedict which was just alright, you can tell they don't use high quality ingredients, definitely not worth the $21 price tag. What really surprised me was the included tip for a table of 2. All in all we spent over $50 for the two mediocre plates and one coffee. I will not be back there are plenty of other spots in the area who welcome women with children and offer better food, service, and drinks at a lower cost. read more

Came here to try out the cakes but wasn't impressed. Even if you look at the pictures of the cake slices I took you can see the cake itself is dry. The filling need to be way bigger if you have such a dry cake. The portions ratio for a $15.00 didn't work. Now the service was great they were very friendly the one girl that was working. I think she knew something was wrong cause she kept asking is everything okay but its not her fault the cake was dry so we said yes we were fine and left. The ambiance of the place is very cute girl would love it. The tiramisu latte, I wish had more coffee in it and less cake. I ordered the yuca fries and didn't know it came with sausages. They were a little burnt the sausages and a bit hard to eat. This is a gorgeous restaurant! My aunt and cousin came here while visiting my mom and they told me to needed to come here for dessert. I love Red Velvet Cake and the shop that I always used is long gone. It is a delicious cake. They sell whole cakes too. If you want to impress the crowd, this is where you will earn a golden star of approval. Keik Bakeshop is such a gem! The decor is absolutely beautiful! The floral and pink is perfect for a cute brunch outing. I came for breakfast during the week, so it wasn't crowded! I got the American breakfast and it did not disappoint. The pancakes were fluffy and buttery, the eggs and bacon cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous without being over the top. I also tried one of their specialty drinks, the tiramisu latte and my friend got the Nutella latte. Both absolutely delicious, rich and not too sweet. They also photographed well. This is a sugar lover's DREAM! This place opened up in Pjnes about a year ago and they are a full service restaurant. The have a pretty big menu with all sorts of food and drinks. I came in to get some sweet treats for a group of friends and sadly forgot to take pictures of the 3 slices of cake. My absolute favorite was the passionfruit cake, the second runner up was the mini pavlova. The Rocher cake slice and the Nutella Dulce de Leche were good as well, but they were very rich and decadent and I am not the biggest chocolate fan. Although the bill was nearly $60 on 3 slices of cake and a mini pavlova, I highly recommend this place for a slice and will most likely be back for an actual meal. read more

The pros: very pretty place, the food looked good (though can't say I had the pleasure, and the Rocher cookie was scrumptious. The cons: there were a couple of empty tables and they said they only had space outside (we were a party of 3), I didn't see you could make reservations here to avoid this situation, the hostess wasn't even trying to be the slightest bit accommodating. Came on a Thursday around 11am. It wasn't crowded at all at that time and had a relaxing atmosphere. There are outdoor tables and the indoors is cute. The menus had a great design and they even had a couple tables tucked away in a hallway under the cascading floral decorations. For the food, I got the salmon Benedict and I love the flavors! The avocado, picked onions and dill were the perfect combination. The arugula and potatoes on the side were flavorful. The breakfast croissant was a large portion and I appreciated the good serving sizes. I was full but still had to try the guava and cheese pancakes. The pancakes could have had more guava and cheese I couldn't taste much of the flavor and there wasn't a lot of filling. The cookies overpowered the pancakes a bit. The presentation was great but I enjoyed the Benedict more. The service was ok, at 12pm all the tables were full and there was only one server who was of course overwhelmed. Also, while I loved the Benedict it did come out slightly cold. I was there for a birthday and I think it would have been nice if they had brought a candle or something nice to make it feel like more of a celebration but the server was polite. I really liked the variety on the menu, they have savory, sweet, burgers, bowls, and salads. I would have loved if there had been a menu for the cakes. It looks like you can order slices of cake online for delivery but when you are eating in the restaurant you don't really get to see what the baked good options are, at least from what I saw on the menu. read more

The food, service, and atmosphere are excellent, but they lack transparency in their billing. Upon receiving the check, we were surprised by an 18% 'Service Charge' that wasn't stated anywhere on the menu or at the table. As a consumer, you have the right to be notified of any automatic surcharges before ordering, rather than being hit with a surprise fee at the end. I spoke with the staff, demanded they remove it due to the lack of prior notice, and they agreed to take it off the final bill. It is a great place, but I highly recommend checking your receipt meticulously before paying. read more

Super cute restaurant! My friend and I went to Keik Bakeshop on Sunday for breakfast. Service was great... our server took her time to explain menu items and was very friendly/ attentive. We both had lattes and shared a Guava Cheese Cinnamon Roll with our entrees. I enjoyed my Salmon Benedict, but prefer a runnier poached egg (the yolks were medium soft boiled). Everything else was perfect. The cinnamon roll was tender and not overly sweet. I would definitely return to try other items on their menu. Note: I tried to have Mother's Day Brunch here, but they do not take reservations on holidays. There was a 3 hour wait when we arrived. After devouring a burrito bowl I decided to check out this Keik Bakeshop next door. Smelled amazing inside and every table was occupied by many laughing youth playing on their cell phones while nibbling on their food. I felt very old, but old people still enjoy pastries. The ambiance was PINK everywhere including the massive bouquet of PINK flowers pinned to the ceiling hovering above the front counter and flowing through the hallway blending into the PINK painted walls. The marketing worked, the PINK theme immediately alerted my senses to think of cake. The menu had many light healthy lunch items and a variety of coffees, but my heart and stomach yearned for sweets. The oversized chocolate chip cookie in the display case visually earned my attention but definitly not for the inflated price of $6.99. I thought for a moment, its a bakeshop, so a pastry item was ineveitable and warranted my curiosity even at the insane price point. Since every table was taken and it was too humid to sit outside, I decided to take the cookie to go. Within a few minutes, they provided me with this enormous PINK bag containing a small PINK box which housed my treat and enhanced the experience. The description was exactly this: Warm, Gooey, Heavy, Big. I sat in my vehicle and took my first big bite which was heavenly and really enjoyed the large chocolate chips multifariously scattered on the thick cookie. The cookie's aroma filled the air in my vehicle, tempting me to take just one more bite. The sweetness was comforting, and every chew gave me that satisfying combination of sugar and chocolate. It's the kind of treat that felt like a hug in every bite making it impossible to resist once you've had a taste. Recommendation: within ten minutes the cookie went cold and dry. Tried unsuccessfully to reheat the cookie in the microwave for 15 seconds although did not attain the same edible delight when initially tasted. The bathroom was clean and decorated with PINK tiled walls with rough cement flooring. read more

We also got the hazelnut cookie, which was too chocolaty for my taste, but hey, if you like hazelnut, you might want to try it, since it's packed with it inside. Came here for a girls' lunch and this place is so cute! It looks as if Barbie opened in a restaurant in the best way, with pink and flowers everywhere. For such a small place, I was not expecting how huge the menu is! They have pancakes, Benedicts, burgers, bowls, entrees, and more. I'd normally choose breakfast over lunch any day, but their pancakes look like desserts (they look awesome, but just not what I was craving that day), so I decided to go with with something different and get the Brunch Girl Burger with poached egg, hollandaise, hash brown, and bacon. It was delicious, and the perfect blend of breakfast and lunch! I left feeling full, but not bloated, which is perfect. It also came with fries which were good and crispy. My only suggestion is that I was surprised they didn't have matcha lattes. On the bright side, it did push me to try something new! This bakery had been in my collections for quite some time but I never find myself in or near Doral to make a stop. While getting into my car after picking up some Jollibee in Pines for dinner, I saw the Keik shop window and I screamed. At first glance, beautiful floral arrangements and the pink theme throughout. The cakes in the display were all beautifully decorated, there were so many choices to choose from. But at $9.99 a slice, sheesh? I chose the Oreo cheesecake cake, to my surprise when I opened my box, it was a pretty smell piece but very moist! Layers of chocolate cake with a layer of Oreo cheesecake in between. Don't get me wrong, it's very good. 4 stars for ambiance, service, and cake but definitely too expensive for the amount of cake you get imo. May consider the entire cake for special occasions. Also don't forget to read the fine print if you are dining in, gratuity is automatically added to your bill. edit: just got around to tasting the outside frosting of the cake, it's got the texture of a marshmallow? very very thick buttercream, idk but not my cup of tea. Nicely varied menu selection. I had a hard time choosing what to order! I settled on a soup and 1/2 sandwich choice. Very tasty butternut squash soup with 1/2 roast beef sandwich with melty cheese and horseradish sauce. I was a little disappointed with well-done, grey roast beef as I prefer a medium rare in this type of sandwich. But, I will chalk that up to I did not ask or specify and I would let it ride. My friend had a generous croissant breakfast sandwich filled with bacon, cheese and scrambled eggs. We both thought the food was good enough to come back for. Service was a little slow but affable. They were busy. What spoiled our experience was the deafeningly, uncomfortable noise level. This is a very small venue and, as such, a table of a dozen women celebrating a birthday, raucously laughing and singing and playing maracas and castanets does not make for an enjoyable atmosphere for those who are looking for an enjoyable chat and get together. This continued with no relief for at least 40 minutes without let up. No one wants to be a "wet blanket" to a celebration but there should either be a reserved time when the place is closed to other patrons ( or, at least, a heads up so they are aware of what they are walking into. Or, the provision of a separate private party room! I am hearing impaired and wear a heading aid in one ear that I actually had to remove to tolerate the noise level without having to walk out! If I go again, I will be quite specifically asking if any "parties" are expected. read more

Visited this location with some friends that were in town. I was very underwhelmed overall. The restaurant try's hard to be 'Instagram worthy' but they fall short on their service. The food is good, large menu of options to choose from. One of our dishes came out cold so they had to take it back to recook. The waiter kept trying to upsell us during orders, pushing for multiple dishes. Also tried to upsell when I asked for a simple coffee. The waiter wasn't very attentive and had to look for him multiple times for more water. They also pre assign 20% gratuity for all checks, no matter the size. It's a very small place, doesn't take reservations. We had to wait 40 mins for a table on a late Sunday afternoon. read more

If you're planning to visit Keik Bakeshop, I'd definitely recommend making a reservation--especially on the weekends! I went on a Saturday, and the wait was about an hour. Luckily, the plaza outside is perfect for a stroll, and surprisingly, our table was ready after only 15 minutes. The waitlist system they use is super handy; you can see exactly how many parties are ahead of you, with real-time updates, which makes waiting much more manageable. Walking inside feels like stepping into a pink paradise, with nearly everything adorned in soft pink hues. Toward the back, near the cashier, you'll find a stunning display of cakes with all kinds of delicious toppings--it's a feast for the eyes and a peek at the treats you might want to take home! Service was excellent from start to finish. I tried the guava and cheese pancakes, and they were fabulous--a perfect choice if you're in the mood for something sweet. I also went for the Barista burger, paired with perfectly seasoned fries. While the burger looked a bit different from the menu photo, it tasted amazing, which is all that really matters! To finish, I ordered the pink vanilla latte, and I can't recommend it enough. Plus, the specialty coffee prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and presentation. This is a beautiful bakery. It is just so pretty. There were a couple tables sat when I walked in. I noticed a certain smell in here and I cannot place what I sniffed. I do wish I smelled baked goods. I guess everything is baked off promise? I ordered a slice of coconut cake. This was tasty. It was somewhat moist and that gave it some flavor. The size of the cake was pretty good. It took a bit for an employee to come out and greet me. I would like to come back and dine in. The atmosphere can't be beat. The parking lot gets crowded. What an IG-able little place! At first glance, you're over stimulated by all the pink everywhere. Then your eyes go straight to the counter filled with super high cakes. They look soooo good! I came here for the cinnamon rolls though. They have special flavors every week. So we got a classic roll and a blueberry type roll. Both were really yummy but I would definitely share it. All their coffee drinks looked soooo pretty too! Everyone loved it also. For the savory dishes, I think the turkey Benedict was just ok. Nothing special. But the salad was really fresh and we loved the salmon croissant. All the staff were very attentive and helpful. I will definitely come back and try other dishes. Visited with a group of friends for galentine's. It was a cute place. We were a group of 9 and could split into 4 separate checks. I ordered butternut squash soup, bacon Mac & cheese, mixed berry salad and a pink vanilla latte. There was an order of guava and cheese pancakes that got shared between three of us. My share came to $35 including tip (21% included in the bill). The butternut squash looked beautiful on the menu. Once in front of me it tasted like chicken broth with butternut squash coloring added. There were noodles in it. I like Panera's version better. I sent it back and was asked for the why. I didn't like it. The Mac & cheese wasn't too great either. The mixed berry salad I was really excited about. Heads up the dressing choices are ranch, Caesar and lemon and olive oil vinaigrette type thing. There was another choice but I don't recall. I chose the lemon and olive oil since that sounded the most compatible. For me it would have been better with a balsamic vinaigrette or glaze (think Publix summer berry salad they give you the balsamic glaze and it's a perfect match for the sweetness of the glazed walnuts and berries). The pink vanilla latte was so good. It was the best ratio of milk and coffee. There was edible glitter too. The guava and cheese pancakes were good but really sweet and best if shared. If not it may be too much too sweet for one person. It was cute for the type of gathering we had but I probably wouldn't return. read more

The service was excellent, as our bilingual waiter came to ask us twice how was everything and was very attentive to us. The ambience is very iconic as everything is themed in pink color. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of dining at Keik Pembroke Pines. I must add, how beautiful the restaurant is decorated. It really sets for a beautiful ambiance. From the moment, my party walked in everyone was so nice and friendly. Sarah, took great care of us. She gave us great recommendations, and was so patient and understanding, because we had an allergy and she provided us with a great substitution. I must save the best for last, since the food was excellent we ordered the avocado toast with the smoked salmon and also the avocado with smoked salmon on a croissant. I truly enjoyed the croissant, it was soft to the touch, flaky and buttery. Definitely recommend, the smoke salmon croissant. For our drinks we order the frozen passion fruit juice and a Nutella drizzled cappuccino with hazelnut. But we pretty tasty. And to top it off we had the Ferrero Chocolate cake slice, what a piece of heaven. It's so rich and decadent, you need a slice to-go.
