I ordered a mocha latte with oat milk, a shot of espresso, and cold foam -- and it was absolutely divine. The balance of flavors was spot on: rich chocolate notes, smooth espresso with just the right amount of kick, and the creaminess of the oat milk tied together with the velvety cold foam on top. Every sip felt like a treat. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu -- but the mocha latte might just be my new go-to. read more

I was in town visiting for 4th of July weekend and this place caught my eye, so we doubled back to check it out. The person working was really patient and kind and answered all of our questions about the menu. My aunt got the blended salted caramel latte, which I think m was a summer special. I tasted it and liked it a lot, as did she -- but ultimately it was too sweet for her, so she ended up trading it out for a strawberry lemon refresher. I got the Qamaria Latte and it was just okay for me. The espresso flavor wasn't as bold as I was expecting. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in town though. read more

We came in early on a Saturday morning for our first visit here and were stuck on what to order, everything sounded so delicious! We ended up getting the iced pistachio latte, a hot Qamaria latte, and shared a piece of baklava.All were solid choices! The cardamom in the Qamaria latte was so subtle and so delicious. The pistachio latte was nutty and smooth. The baklava was sweet, but overly sweet. The service was friendly and quick. The only negative I could say is that it's pretty cold inside. I've been twice, although I live out of town, and both experiences have been really good. Delicious, comforting drinks and tasty pastries. Staff is friendly; I appreciated that on one visit, they had forgotten to make a drink with almond milk. Instead of publicly reprimanding anyone or making it a huge deal, the man simple remade the drink; problem solved. Good lighting & decor, seemed clean. read more

Qamaria is one of the best cafes in the Pointes. The service is friendly and it is a good place for reading, work, or meeting with friends. I don't drink coffee but I'm a fan of the Tangerine Refresher and the Adeni Chai Latte. There are several cozy chairs with cushioning that I wish there were more of and outlets to charge your electronics but not enough for most of the tables. read more

Today I checked out this local coffee shop. I have to say that the establishment was eloquently designed and immaculately clean. They offer pastries as well as various drinks for purchase. I have to know that the pastries were not vegan so if you are looking for vegan options in the pastry section they don't have that. They did have non-dairy options with their milk section. I would also like to note that they charge a additional card fee when paying with your credit card or debit card. read more

Stopped inside this café earlier today. It's a nice little set up. The location recently opened. The coffee is super strong. I feel like I only needed a small amount. Outstanding coffee and wonderful service! The owner and staff always greet us with a smile and take the time to get to know us and our children. On those hectic mornings when the only motivation is to "go to the coffee shop", multiple times they have offered a free croissant or cake pop to the twins. Coming from California (the Bay Area) with endless coffee options - this hands down, is absolutely the best coffee house I have ever been to. Ordered the Iced Coffee Mufawaar - it was made exactly to my liking, not as sweet to accompany the slice of baklava I ordered with it. The cardamom in coffee was perfect. Ordered a mango smoothie drink, it was so good I ordered another one to go. Looking forward to trying the saffron cheesecake when I get home. I will absolutely return, likely an obscene amount of times. I might move in, if they'll have me. Clean, beautiful, space. Photos of the farms where they get their beans and cardamom adorn the pristine space. The people that own it are there working serving the most amazing drinks I have ever tasted. Stay blessed. I'm so glad this place is here! They had me immediately with the gentle scent of spices as I stepped in the door. The staff smiled and were immediately welcoming. I usually keep it simple with my coffee drinks, so I ordered the iced marib (iced coffee w/cardamom, delicious) and a croissant for my mom, which was warmed. I waited on a cozy cushioned seat covered with rich toned textiles. Next time I will definitely try the nutella infused baklava. Highly recommend hanging out here, a great alternative to Starbucks. read more

It's just starting out so, no hard feelings. They don't have decaf coffee and I was really surprised about this. Other than that they have a nice staff and ambiance. So if you like Starbucks, you wouldn't have a problem going here, just remember that they don't have decaf lol read more

Qumari Coffee in Grosse Pointe is a refreshing addition to the local scene. Their hospitality was outstanding, and I was thrilled to discover a Middle Eastern coffee shop in the area. Taking over the former Starbucks location, they've brought a unique and fresh perspective. Mostafa, whom I spoke to, was friendly and accommodating. It's a welcome change from the past establishments in the area. I look forward to returning to try some other unique drinks. read more

So excited a new coffee shop is in town. They did not disappoint at all! I've been coming in almost everyday since opening, trying out different coffees and teas and it's all phenomenal. The staff are so kind and knowledgeable about their menu items. It's the perfect space to gather with buddies. read more
