Lemon - predominant creamy/buttery flavor with a subtle, but definitely noticeable lemon flavor Orange - light orange flavor that leans towards the "fragrant" side as opposed to its citrus/sour side Toasted Almond - nostalgic; reminds me of the almond cookies I had as a kid. Coffee - strong coffee flavor and dusted with coffee grounds, which gives it a very mild bitter contrast Chocolate - surprisingly mild; comparably subtle as the citrus macarons Birthday Cake - so nostalgic; made me feel like a kid again Thoroughly enjoyed all of them. The birthday cake flavor was easily my favorite though! I'd happily give this a 5, but could argue that that the macarons at le bon macaron are somewhat better. I got MAJOR brownie points with the wife for finding Natalie's and making it THE bakery for our family. We absolutely love this bakery. I've been here countless times, tried many things (lobster tails, cannolis, macaroons and cakes)... everything is divine. Everything is thoughtfully made. It's a true gem of a place where you can tell the people who make the product are passionate about what they do. It really, really shows. What made me write this review is that we went to them for our son's baptismal cakes and they just absolutely KILLED IT! Everyone at the party was impressed and, truthfully, we were PROUD TO SERVE THIS! We were honestly impressed ourselves! When you eat cake, it's a special occasion. And as such, it really is a great experience when the cake you eat feels special. Everything looks amazing and probably taste amazing too. I am not sure how much to pay for handmade oversize pastries because everything is more than $4, seems worth it to me . Peanut butter cupcake - moist yellow cake layered with fudge & a huge mound of fluffy frosting topped with peanut butter cups drizzled with carmel & fudge. The best part? The peanut butter core in the middle! Dolce de leche damia - this is a carmel & chocolate explosion. Wonderful buttery crust topped with a chocolate dome filled with caramel & cream. Natalie's is a small bakery with high-quality bread, scones, and desserts. My favorite item is the lemon rosemary sourdough bread. I could barely taste the lemon but there was a nice bright tang flavor mixed with the rosemary, and there was delicious olive oil that glazed the bottom of the loaf. The crust was crisp and the inside was chewy. There are so many different flavors of scones. My favorite was the savory scone with goat cheese and spinach. HOLY CANNOLI. Natalie's is absolute perfection. Not only is everything here beautiful, it tastes just as amazing as it looks. I've tried almost every desert available, but have yet to try the bread (I'll be back for that later). You really can't go wrong with any of the offerings. We love the cakes for birthdays and special occasions- we share these with 6-8 people easily. Just be careful when you go inside- the temptation is real and you will leave with more than you came for if you're not careful. read more

I had a mild asthma attack on my way there so when I went in I asked for help. The person that was working scrambled to find me water and was so kind and went over and beyond to make sure I was ok. It was my first time coming here and now I'm hooked. I'm so glad I found this place while googling. Because of their well rated reviews I made it a mission to come specifically to this spot for macarons instead of areas much closer. These are hands down the best macarons ever. I bought these for my baby shower and everyone who tried it asked where I got them from because they're that good. I already can't wait to go back. Luckily it's close to my work but I'd still make the half hr drive from home to here just for more . Also, it costs $1.75 a piece which is a pretty good price. I love this bakery. Rosemary sourdough is my very favorite. The only reason she didn't get 5 stars is because everything is packaged in a plastic clam shell. I would totally get more pastries from Natalie's if it didn't include so much plastic. I feel like a cardboard box or slip would work for so many of these items. Their macaroons actually have flavor and taste like their name unlike some that say they are lavender but just taste sweet. I've wanted to come here ever since I saw them open a few years ago, but haven't been able to make it in. Finally made it in today, and it was very delicious! Anyone that knows me knows I'm a dessertaholic and I would sustain myself on sweets if possible. I ordered a tiramisu cup, zucchini walnut muffins, and an oatmeal raisin cookie. The tiramisu cup was some of the best tiramisu I've ever had. The flavors blended well together, without any one overpowering the other. The zucchini walnut muffins were made of ingredients which I can pronounce and know what it is. These were also very good. While we were in there, a very nice European gentleman came out to greet us (presumably the owner). I told him it was our first time there and he went into the kitchen to grab some fresh macaroons for us to try. They were delectable and it was a very nice gesture. He told us he tries to use natural sweeteners instead of sugar (using fruits on scones instead of the white icing on top). I appreciate this because, while I love sweets, there's a fine line between too sweet and sweet enough. Overall, I love this place and will definitely be coming back! read more

Update time... Get the espresso cupcake, yum! Also, try something a little different and get the brioche. This cinnamon roll type concoction is similar but with white sugar instead of brown sugar and cinnamon. My hubby gave it a big smile. On a healthier note, I highly recommend the 7-grain bread. I stop at Natalie's once or twice a week to pickup a fresh loaf of bread. Yesterday I got the rosemary garlic ciabatta loaf and it was amazing!!!! For starters you can actually taste and smell the rosemary and garlic, it made perfect toast! Crispy, yet still chewy... just the way I like it it was great with butter, but even better topped with jalapeño cream cheese my only negative is I'm always looking for unique breads and they seem to never have them or maybe sold out whenever I stop in I've wanted to try their ham and cheese bread and a sweet bread! I would also like to request that they make a good jalapeño cheese bread or even an Asiago option! I also picked up a cake pop for my son that was very yummy! This was my first visit here. I love sweets and its awesome that their treats are made daily and are 100% natural. I was welcomed upon entering and I was the only person there (2 others arrived as I was leaving). I ordered a cinnamon roll and a peanut butter cookie. The total came to $3.25. Great price! However, I didn't like how the woman behind the register/counter was staring at me the entire time I was looking and deciding. I felt very uncomfortable. On my search for some great bread bakeries close to home I opted to check out Natalie's which I read about on Yelp. It's at the corner of John R just North of 13 so getting into the parking lot can be dicey when traffic is heavy so be prepared to turn around if you're coming from the south. When I walked in the door I was greeted by a friendly employee that came from the back room. She inquired as to what I was looking for and given they were out of baguettes that day I instead picked up a butter split top loaf, an olive oil Italian (which was similar in size and shape to a baguette) and a chocolate chip cookie for my sweet tooth. The butter split top was really fresh and delicious. The crumb had a buttery flavor and a tender but firm texture to it. I sliced it thick, toasted it with butter and used it as hamburger buns which I highly recommend! It was a really great finishing touch to my burgers. It also made incredible toast. The olive oil Italian I split in half and used it to make some really great pizzas on the quick. They turned out really nice with the olive oil and herbed crust from the bread. The cookie was a little weak and the least favorite of the items I picked up but while I was paying I tried a danish sample. I think I'll have to try one of them next trip, but the bread was worth the trip and worth returning. read more

I stopped in here yesterday on my lunch hour. I picked up a chocolate croissant and a savory scone. Also sampled the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie (which was yummy, I'll be back to try a whole one). The woman working there was young and super friendly and offered samples. I like to feel welcomed when I walk into a business, so bonus points for that. The bread selection looked great and their menu shows an impressive variety of breads made on different days of the week. The items that I got were decent but, unfortunately not outstanding. The savory scone was good but I'd describe it more as a biscuit than a scone, and honestly I felt like it needed more salt or cheese to really give it that savory kick. I have been on a hunt for the perfect chocolate croissant in the area and this one didn't make the cut for me. I am used to strips of chocolate inside whereas this had more of a pudding texture (I am not a fan of pudding, so this was not for me). That being said, I definitely will be back to try some bread and have more of those cookies. read more
