On my drive out there, the car started giving me trouble. Originally, I thought it was just the battery but it turns out it was also the alternator. I barely made it to the shop and was told it would be hours, if not a day, before I would get my car back. I almost cried. I didn't know anyone in Elma and had to be back in Seattle that evening to make my flight. The guys at the shop did everything they could to get me back on the road within a few hours and even lent me their car so that I could drive to Montesano and get my work done.
