Small bag of laundry 10 pounds. Feels like 6 or 7 pounds. Bottle of water for size reference. She wanted to charge me $50!

I came here for a "wash and fold" service. I had a small bag of laundry she said it was 10 pounds using a cheap old scale. She wanted to charge me $50, for a single load of laundry! She reduced the price to $45! I usually pay around $10 to $12 for that size and weight of clothes. I needed it washed and was stuck between a rock and hard place due to work and traveling. I feel very over charged. Go some place else for a fair rate. $5 a pound is way to expensive.

Overpriced and does NOT deliver on what is agreed upon re: Alterations. When called out, plays the can't understand English card.

Will definitely be coming back! Their manager is AWESOME. My coats look brand new. I brought in 6…read morecoats and they were ready so quickly. Amazing customer service on the phone and in person. Their front desk staff are also so wonderful, kind, and helpful. I live all the way in Silver Spring MD and will be making the drive just to come here. They are incredible and really handled my expensive coats with care. They also found everything so quickly when I came to pick up which just goes to show how organized they are. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was highly recommended to bring larger items here, like my comforter, and based on my first…read moreexperience, I understood why. The initial service was impeccable, which is why I decided to return. I'm giving two stars out of grace for that first visit. Unfortunately, my second experience with the exact same item was disappointing. When I picked up my comforter, I noticed small specks of lint scattered across it. I brought this to the manager's attention, and while she insisted she personally handled my item and attempted to remove the lint, that explanation didn't align with the final result. If the issue couldn't be resolved, I should have been notified before leaving--not after I had to point it out myself. I did receive a refund, which I appreciate, but I genuinely wanted this to work. It seemed like the manager had already made up her mind that nothing further could be done, and there was no real effort to try to resolve the issue. At that point, I simply asked for my item back so I could take it somewhere that handles items with more care and attention to detail. It honestly made me question whether my comforter was mixed in with others during the process, especially since I take great care in maintaining it, including regularly steam disinfecting it at home. What was also frustrating was that instead of focusing on my concern, the manager began explaining how other customers' items can come in, as if I was expected to sympathize. My only concern was the condition of my item. Based on this experience, I would recommend keeping it simple here--stick to everyday dry cleaning. I would not suggest bringing larger bedding items like comforters or duvet covers, as the quality and attention to detail may not be consistent.

On April 3, 2026, I received a brand new dress from Amazon that I purchased for an upcoming event…read more The dress was red, black, and white, and still had the original tags attached. Because it arrived tightly packaged and wrinkled, I took it to the ZIPS Dry Cleaners on Saint Barnabas Road simply to have it cleaned and pressed before wearing it for the first time. When I picked up my clothing order, I did not immediately realize that the belt to my dress was missing. Unfortunately, I discovered this while getting dressed to attend an event, therefore I was unable to return to the store right away. During my next visit to ZIPS, I brought the issue to the attention of the manager. To her credit, she initially appeared concerned. She searched for the belt personally, reviewed camera footage, and informed me that she had seen the belt on the footage but would have to look at the various cameras to try to trace it, but believed it may have accidentally been picked up by another store that also processes garments through their location. She assured me she would call me back with an update. That call never came. When I returned again to pick up the order I had dropped off when I initially spoke to her, I followed up with the manager myself. Once again, I was told that she had not yet heard back from the other stores but promised she would contact me. Again, there was no follow-up communication whatsoever. Yesterday, while dropping off another load of clothes, I asked about the status of my belt yet again. This time, the manager admitted that it appeared my belt had likely been given to another customer. The solution offered to me for losing part of my brand new dress was a $15 credit on my ZIPS account. The issue is not simply about the monetary value. The dress cost me $40.99 plus shipping and handling, was brand new, and is essentially unwearable without the matching belt. I cannot return it to Amazon after this amount of time and claim it arrived incomplete because it did not. ZIPS lost part of my garment through negligence. What has made this experience even more upsetting is the complete lack of accountability, urgency, professionalism, and communication throughout the process. I had to repeatedly initiate every follow-up conversation myself. No one ever proactively contacted me despite multiple promises to do so. Before leaving the store yesterday, I requested the corporate office information because I felt this matter deserved escalation. I was told the information was listed on the receipt. However, as someone who works in technology, I could clearly see that the email provided was simply the local store email with the store number parsed within the email address, not actual corporate contact information. I purchased a home in this area a little over a year ago and truly hoped I had found a reliable, affordable dry cleaner that I could continue supporting long term. Instead, this experience has left me deeply disappointed and honestly concerned about trusting ZIPS with higher-value garments in the future. If a simple missing belt is handled with this level of indifference and poor communication, it raises serious concerns about how customer property is valued and protected overall. This entire experience has been frustrating, disheartening, and unacceptable. I hope that corporate sees my review and reach out to me. If I would have seen that bad communication and losing or destroying things were a trend of this location (per the reviews I just read) I would have NEVER trusted them.

Lost half my clothes the first time using this service. Just got off the phone with "customer…read moreservice" and their solution is for me to file a claim where I send them pictures of my missing items. I don't know about you, but I don't have pictures of my socks and bras. And I don't make it a habit of taking pictures of the clothes in my hamper. When pressed, she said the company has photos they can use to find my items. If a representative bothers to respond to this review, don't believe anything they have to say about this being an anomaly. My clothes were delivered last night, yet when I texted customer service about my missing items, I got this form response: "Hi Crystal - I'm so sorry to hear about the issue with your order. To help us assess and resolve quickly, we'll need a bit more information. If your order was delivered in the last 14 days, please complete our simple claims form here: www.rinse.com/customers/claim. Please include: 1) Photos of the items 2) A link to where the item (or comparable) can be purchased online. If it has been more than 14 days, you can send this information here and we'll open a claim for you. Thank you - we're here to help." So you lose people's clothes often enough to have a canned response ready??? Do NOT use these people. I don't know where to begin replacing these items. I'm so glad I didn't let them dry clean my custom-made items. My next stop is the Better Business Bureau. Rinse should not be in business. Shame on you.
