Not only did he have the drainpipe part I needed, he even took the time to cut it to size based on the old piece I brought with me. When I called Saunders to see if they would make keys, the man told me to call him from right outside the store. In front of Saunders Hardware, there were several tables blocking the store's entrance. Of course, that was a smart safety measure social distancing. After my telephone call, the man came out and took my key to make copies. He said it would be about seven minutes. Anyway, not even two minutes later, he called to take my credit card number over the phone. Not even a minute later, he came out with the copies of the keys. He told me to try the keys out as soon as I got home. Anyway, the keys fit perfectly. I was very happy to resolve one issue, particularly during this crazy time. Thank you Saunders Hardware!

I needed to make up copies of some keys. I stumbled into this hardware store since it was right in…read moremy town. It is not a huge store, but I must say it has a lot of stuff (toys/tools/gadgets, etc). Any guy would spend a good amount of time getting lost looking around at all the "stuff" here as I did. I thankfully behaved myself, and did not go on a wild shopping spree. When I finally made it to the counter, the person who helped me was very knowledgeable, and handy. He duplicated a couple sets of keys perfectly. He did not even need to take them out of my car key ring. The sets he made up he had placed in its own key ring rather than just throw them all at me, and mix the keys up. He was also honest, and saved me some money with another request of mine that I did not need to get done. I like honesty, it's a great virtue. FYI: Parking in this area is metered with high tech sensors, and camera. Pay the meter, or pay the ticket.

When I got home, I realized they had given me a completely different color. Mistakes happen -- that part wasn't the issue. I went back and asked if they could retrieve my original can from the trash so they could properly match the color. It had already been thrown out, so I took time to find the closest match from their color samples. They remade the paint... and then tried to charge me again for correcting their mistake. I was shocked. The incorrect color was not my error -- it was theirs. Yet they refused to take responsibility and attempted to make me pay for it. That is unacceptable customer service. When a business makes a mistake, it should own it and fix it without putting the burden on the customer. Instead, I was treated with complete disregard and disrespect. I will not be returning, and I don't recommend this store to anyone who values fairness, accountability, or basic customer service.

You can also rent tools at this location which I have done in the past. It's convenient and saves money. The tools were in good shape and I was satisfied with the rentals. This location has a huge parking lot and can get very crowded on weekends. Sometimes finding store employees can be a challenge which seems to be the usual at all Home Depot's. Checking out can be a hassle at times as well. Sometimes it seems like there isn't enough cashiers and the lines can back up. Overall this is a good location.

Delivery notification service needs much improvement…read more I purchased a dishwasher and was told that someone would call me the night before the scheduled date to give me my delivery window. No one called. I happened to go on my computer at 6:30 p.m. the night before and saw that I had been scheduled for delivery between 1:30 and 5:30. On the delivery date I signed onto my computer at 10:00 a.m. and read a message saying that the delivery truck was 2 stops away. There was no direct communication regarding the delivery time and the written communication had totally conflicting information. THIS IS NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS.
