This place is located in a mall type building and I was impressed with the setup and inviting atmosphere. We ordered waffle fries, northwest chili dog and harbor dog with bratwurst. They were both impressive, hard to find a decent hotdog spot in WA state that suits my pallet. I gave it a 4 star review due to the chili possibly being not made in house. It tastes like Nalley chili, but i have nothing against it. I think one who has chili dogs on the menu can possibly make a killer chili. Maybe it's house made? Not sure, i forgot to ask. We had lunch there today for the first time. Both of our hotdogs were good and the fries were really good, too. The reasons I probably wouldn't go back anytime soon are 1) I don't really wanna spend that much on a hotdog and more importantly 2) they had two large fans on - the kind you might put in your garage if you just painted it and you wanna speed up the drying process. The fans were kind of noisy which meant that when people were ordering their food they had to talk very loudly - and that's just not the kind of ambience I'm looking for when I go out to eat. My son wanted hot dogs for a birthday lunch, so we came out to Harbor in PO. Located in an indoor shopping center, they're pretty good! He got a free kid's hot dog for his birthday, which he enjoyed. I ordered the Viking Dog - that was also pretty good. A little tangy - I could have done with a little less mustard. But that's a preference thing. The fried crispy onions were really good and added a lot of crunch to each bite. Very nice touch. We also ordered a basket of fries, which were nicely fried and crispy. We had seen this restaurant a few times when visiting the bookstore or game shop at the local mall, but it had always been quite busy. So, we were excited to find them at an event at Colello's over the weekend, where we were finally able to try one of their "dogs." We opted for the bratwurst, and while they were out of sauerkraut, even just with mustard, it was pretty good. The brat was cooked well. The bun perfectly toasted. And the mustard a wonderful blend of sweet and savory. Even better though, the owner and his family were absolutely delightful. Hot dogs and sausages are one of my favorite meals. Today I finally made it to Harbor Haute dogs in Port Orchard. They have a nice variety on their menu with 6-7 choices for meat and then another 10-12 choices for toppings. I chose the Chicago style dog with smoked sausage. It was very good. The sausage was crunchy snap when you bite into it, nice smoky flavor and the toppings were fresh, colorful, tasty, and in perfect proportions. I enjoyed the dill relish, onions and peppers the most. The bun was very good although no poppyseeds, and the sprinkle of celery salt helped create a little more of that authentic Chicago Dog taste. I was there during busy lunchtime but it took only 5-10 minutes from time I ordered until I was eating. I sat inside and enjoyed the chatter of many satisfied and returning customers. I would like to return and try other menu options. The dog was $13 which was very reasonable given the size and tasty toppings. I added a soda, tax, and tip and was out the door for about $18.50. Sure you can get cheaper dogs but you get what you pay for, and this was a great meal. read more

The food was good, on the pricier side when it comes to the amount (but inflation & small business... I get it). I want to try the actual food truck as when we went, it was crowded (positive for business) and hard to find seats as the space is very small. Recommend the business works with the mall to put in tables as it will only help all the businesses in general. Only negative was, being first time... I felt the gentleman who took our order seemed irritated as I did not know the menu or understood how it completely worked. After the second question, I stopped asking and just ordered even though there was no one behind me waiting. So I rushed my order and would have liked a better understanding on what selections meant as I just got the basic dog and selected a topping. I will try this place again, maybe wait till the excitement of this plays dies down a bit and I would recommend it to at least trying something new. After seeing all my friends posts and trying their hot dogs, I had to go and try it myself. My brother tried the Rangoon and said it was good and one of the guys suggested The Liberty. Fun find on the way to get a bag of ice! Harbor Haute Dogs is located at the Gull gas station right on Sidney - the address is on Shannon but most folks would say the location is on Sidney. It's about half-way from Lider to Lakeway. We just saw their hotdog tent while stopping for some ice at the Gull station. Super nice folks running the tent/booth, with a pretty big menu of hotdogs to choose from! See the photos I took of the menu boards. Simple, easy, and yummy! Perfect roadside hotdog stand if ever there was one. Prices are really good too, for what you get - the dogs are well worth the price. They also have chips and drinks to go with. We just went basic with the "All American" with a Hebrew National dog on a bun with onions, catchup, mustard, and dill relish - can't get more basic but the fact they grill the buns really made the hotdog perfect. If you're hankering for a hotdog in an easy-in easy-out place, you can't miss Harbor Haute Dogs. We're pretty stoked because we only live a couple miles away so it's close to home. Great hot dogs, super nice people, good prices and a really convenient location - what more can you ask? Harassment by the staff. Actually the person who is doing harassing identified him as one of the owners. His name is Guy. I have been to their establishment probably twelve times. Eleven of those times I am always ordered two hot dogs off of the menu. That is roughly twenty dollars each time that I have frequented their business. I like their food but the chillI not so much. I've only been going there for about 6 months, so that's twice a month Twenty dollars each time is two hundred and forty dollars to their establishment. When I first went there. I wouldn't tell them my name. Because most people butcher it and they don't have respect but eventually I did reveal my name is Bruhanu. When I do business. I frequently pay with a card that has a different name on it., that is not who I am. Last time I was there after I paid for my lunch Guy at the register called me by the name on the card. I have not had the privilege to make the name change official and the name on the card is associated with profound trauma. In the 12 times that I have been to their business I have always introduced myself as Bruhanu and the other people there know me by Bruhanu. I called out guy for addressing me disresectfully and using the name on the card. I have stayed away for at least a month because of the disrespect. As I walk in the door today. Guy shouted to me and used the name on the card again and I had explicitly expressed that it was disrespectful the last time that I patronized the business. He could not help but know who I was as I was a repeat customer and he knew from our last conversation that I had issue with disrespect from him using a name that I had never spoken ever in the last six months. The last time may have been using the name off the card may have been an ignorant mistake this time it was absolutely intentional to harass and be disrespectful. I am sure he got the reaction from me that he wanted and I was quite angry and I got loud and and in the end I left it as well, if you don't want my business, he said he certainly didn't and wanted me to leave. His business partner Alex said that they respected everyone that came in their doors and that is certainly not the case and it is mistaken or a lie. So this person Guy who holds himself out as a co-owner is not stupid and when did they figure out I am a Trans person?
