This time around my sister and brother in law and thier kids also came along for the first time. Becky the property manager greeted us as we arrived at our 4pm check-in. She explained everything in detail and walked us through the cabin and made us feel very welcomed. The unique one story cabins are arranged in a horseshoe configuration and are named according to their theme, and in the middle a beautiful courtyard is shared with gueats. We actually stayed in their latest newly remodeled two story cabin called The Marlin. It's located right next to the main property. At night it's very safely lit and your vechicals are parked under the structure. It sleeps 10 with two full baths and all the amenities you need to make your stay enjoyable. It has a second story large balcony and a small third story balcony as well. Access to the beach is at walking distance or a short drive. After hurricane Harvey the cabins sustained damage and there was even a waterline marker when the storm surge came in. After alot of hard work and tireless vollenteers the newly remodeled cabins are better than ever. Becky was even kind enough to show us inside The Rock and Roll cabin and the remarkable improvements they made. The Dancing Dunes is highly recommend which ever cabin you stay in. Check out their Facebook page or website to make reservations in advance because they do fill up quickly. We're definitely coming back next year and can't wait to make memories again.

The other guests were kind and friendly. Bad - underwhelming indoor accommodations for the cost. Bedside lights don't exist. Though the website list a "kitchen" in which to cook meals and all needed cooking instruments, our room had no stove or grilling utensils or pans to take our meals to use the grills. No places to hang bathing suits or towels. Again, for what we paid, we were a bit disappointed. Overall, we had a nice escape from the heat, humidity, and rat race of Houston. Certainly a much better experience than the negative reviews.

Casa Bendita is incredibly clean (&I have high standards with cleanliness!), beautiful big kitchen with every utensil/dish/cup you'll ever need, comfortable beds and cozy bedrooms (all have TVs!), washer & dryer (with detergent, etc. provided!), plenty of parking, beautiful pool with lovely outdoor area and a FULL bathroom off of the pool (genius!), gated porch to keep the kiddos safe from the stairs (in addition to plenty of kid friendly items, games, etc.), quick walk or drive to the beach & into town, and the owners and host are the best -- always been so responsive and accommodating... the list of reasons why we love Casa Bendita is endless! The ac was a known issue , but nobody ever went to check if the ac had been repaired. They then sent us to another house. This house had dead roaches on the floor and live roaches in the cabinets . The weekend was a bust , due lack of management . The house I rented originally was on the water with a pier. Grandson was excited to walk out the back patio and fish all night. Total disappointment. All I received was "I'm Sorry" . I don't want to mention the houses and ruin future rentals for the owners but I would definitely find a different management company . DO BETTER MISS KITTY

Don't waste your money on a beach view during the Summer time. You will only be able to see trucks jeeps and tents.
